Madness all of a sudden saw smoke, and the bull elk had gotten trampled over. It was a bloody scene, and Madness, horrified, grabbed her kill and took off With Nix.

Well, at least we outran those elk ... " She panted and dropped her kill. "Mind carrying this to the pack? Tell them to wait before they eat. Anyone eats without my permission, no matter how high ranked they are, has to wait until everyone else has finished, even the Omegas." With that, Madness trotted back to the scene of the stampede.

Madness sniffed around, looking for something;she saw that trampled bull elk lying in a bloody heap on the ground. She walked over toit and picked it up in her jaws, dragging it back to the camp.

Lara lay idlly on a rock. Jeez. I hate running... Especially when giant 7 foot tall demon elks are after me. She watched as Nix guarded the kill that Madness had caught. Manipulating a elk of that size.... So draining, mentally and physically. That's why Lara hadn't stopped running when she first heard the clipping of hooves. She knew she wouldn;t be able to make it if she waited for others.

She was beginning to worry though... Madness still hadn't returned. Anxiety gnawed at Lara's belly like frostbite in winter.

"nix was circleing the elk so hungry she was just wanting to eat but she had the will power to stare at it for 2 months and still not eat it"

Lara took her head off her paws and stared blankly at the dark colored she-wolf. She'd talk about anything to get her mind off of the still non-present Madness. Lara knew that if Madness was gone there was no freaking way she'd be able to keep this pack together... Or who knows? Leadership is learned after experience... But still, Madness was really the only one who could keep everyone together. Lara closed her bright red eyes for a second.

"Sure you can.... What do you want to know about her?" Lara sighed, still exhausted with a headache and stiff limbs.

Lara twitched her ears. Her eyes widened for a second. Lyra.... Is hurt? Lara leapt to her feet, only to be brought down by her pounding head. Oh please. There's been worse. Get up and find your sister. Lara rose to her feet once more, and got up despite the pounding.

"Nix, tell Madness I'll be back soon, and that I'm sorry I have to leave. I have to go take care of my little sister." Lara said, feeling numb. She looked to Hally for direction.
