Jaidee was curled up in the front corner of his kennel taking a nice nap, when he heard all of the comotion of the newcomers. He still acted like he was sleeping not wanting anybody to really notice him. He was listening for key words, things to clue him in on the newcomers. There was to much talking going on so all he got out of his listeng was that there were 3 newcomers. Which he thought was odd knowing that dogs usually come in one by one. He didn't think to much of it then he got bored thinking about it and drifted back to sleep.

He suddenly woke up to the loud noise of the back kennel doors opening. He got up and as soon as all four paws were touching grass he yawned and stretched for a couple seconds. Glad to be outside he quickly trotted of to find a seat under the shade tree knowing he could see the newcomers and know what the comotion was about.

Ace smiled at Ignis and Sadie one last time before walking up to the tree where some dogs were having some rest. When he reached the tree he turned to Jackson. "Well...I'm curious about the newcomers, either they have a great story to tell, or they really like to get everyon'es attention...she wouldn't tell me where they come from until we are all gathered here." He shrugged and lay down beneath the tree, waiting for the new dog to tell her story and to take the chance to rest before executing his secret plan to get him out of that hell.

Shade barked happily as he saw his brother bounding up to him. Before he could get in a word, though, he was caught in Romeo's famous embrace, and gave back the same enthusiasm as his brother to the hug. Wagging his tail at seeing someone he loved and trusted fully, Shade said, "We have to get out of her, Romes." The nickname he gave his brother wasn't exactly approved. In fact, Shade never knew or bothered to ask if Romeo liked being called that. Though to the mix breed, he believed it sounded cool and gave his brother an awesome outlook. Not that he wasn't awesome enough already. However, more pressing matters were at hand. There wasn't time to worry about nicknames.

His eyes gave a very serious look, one that meant business. His ears were perked up, changing direction every few minutes as he listened to those around him. Even though his attention was focused on Romeo, Shade's whole atmosphere revolved around being able to pay attention to everything. Not just a few snips at once. Nearby, he recognized his sister's voice. And that smaller, nice dog who had spoken to him earlier. Somewhere else, apparently by a tree judging from the smell of the air around the voices, all the dogs were gathering around to seek shelter from the sun. Shade heard his sister say to one dog that she would explain everything to everyone at once. How very smart of her. So she wouldn't have to repeat the story. He'd have to go there later. For now, he remained with Romeo.

He spoke in an urgent whisper now. "You know what we have to do... and we have to get the heck out if we ever want to move on. Though the how... I'm iffy on..." He trailed off with a thinking expression, eying the fence and metal wires all around them. He ran over to one cautiously, looking back every now and then to see if he was being watch. "Rome, over here!" He called. While waiting for his brother to catch up with him, he took a look at the fence. Turning his head upward, he managed to get the entire view of the boundary between freedom. "Perfect." He grinned savagely.

For any agile dog, it'd be easy to get up over the fence and make it to the other side. However it was dangerous. The jump from the top to the ground on the other side could easily crush bones. On the inside, there was grass. Thick grass at that, meaning it would be nearly impossible to dig your way out from this point. The fence was specially made from the inside. That ultimately meant that to be able to get out, you'd have to hold the keys on the outside. And Shade had a mind that worked out every inching detail of an upcoming plan. "I got it!" He said excitedly to Romeo, almost in a whisper too.

Banshee didn't see much he could do besides run. He had been running and enjoying the freedom he got now so much that his heart was nearly beating out of his chest. He looked over by the tree, noticing that more dogs were gathering there than usual. Wondering what could be up, he trotted over there, suddenly tucking his tail between his legs. "What's going on?" He asked Ace. "Why is everyone over here?"

Ace smiled and shrug at Banshee."Well I asked one of the newcomers about their story, and she told me that she would only tell until we were all gathered here." He shrugged again." That's weird, huh? They are kinda weird, they are really eager to get out of here, they want to gather us to tell us where they come...I don't know what they've been eating but it seems to have altered their mental sanity, after all...who would ever want to leave such a nice place. It's got food, playground...all you could ever want." He giggled at his own sarcasm like he was used to. Athough he did enjoy a bit being there, after eating stolen food from elegant restaurants he had a very clear idea of where the good life is.

Jaidee ran to reach the tree. He wasn't the first one there but he had a great vew of what he thought was the stage of the tree, which wasn't a stage just the place that felt natural enough to stand. He waited patiently letting a few whimpers of frustration out. He knew that these newcomers had something really important to say, he didn't know what but he knew it was very important.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, guys. I've been really busy lately trying to get ready for school to start.

Bic:// Sadie noticed everyone gathering at the tree, probably all waiting for her. She couldn't help but to think of this as some kind of speech, but Sadie reminded herself that she wasn't afraid to talk in front of other dogs. With her talkative and open nature, it wasn't the talking part of the speech that got to her. It was having all of their attention on her and only her. Attention was definately one thing in life Sadie did not strife for. Putting her thoughts aside, Sadie finally padded over to the tree and stood in front of all the dogs. She tried not to think of it as a stage while all of their eyes turned to her.

After a deep breathe and a reasuring glance at her two brothers, Sadie gazed upon the crowd of dogs and began. "As everyone here probably knows, my brothers and I have been asked many times about how we came to be here. Well, it's a rather... not long but complicted story. One that requires a little faith. Now instead of repeating the story again and again to each of you, I thought it best to just tell the story once to all of you.

"Recently, my brother and I lost both our parents to two separate tragedies. Our father in a car accident and our mother to illness. While our mother was still alive but growing weaker every day, she told us a story from her days on a farm. There was an elderly collie there who spoke often of... paradise." Sadie paused a moment to allow the word and its meaning to sink in. "After her horrible fire, the elderly dog died but before that, she gave my mother a mission to find paradise. And now that dream has been passed down to us.

"We were on our way to follow the direction of the raising sun when we were caught by the dog catcher. We need to escape and coninure on our journey." Sadie stopped and looked out over the dogs' faces, hoping to notice their reaction before they said a word. Then she added, "Anyone is allowed to join us if they wish."

Bandit:
He watched as the humans walked up and down the rows of cages. When a little girl stopped in front of the cage he and his sister was in he wagged his tail and walked up to her. She poked her fingers through the cage to touch him when her father grabbed her quickly and kept walking. Bandit didn't know why nobody wanted to adopt him but he wasn't waiting around to find out. When they put he and Cassy in the fenced in area to play and use the bathroom Bandit made a run for it. He made it out but Cassy didn't. Cassy! I'll come back and get you I promise! She nodded her head and they took her back in the pound and started to think of an idea to catch Bandit.

Sable intently listened to Sadie's story, taking in all of what the newcomer said, and letting it sink in. However, when Sadie brought up of a place called 'paradise', Sable was left confused. She had never heard of paradise before. Was it a new town? A city? A new state perhaps? Sable didn't have a clue. But when Sadie said that anyone was invited to join their travels, Sable couldn't help but ask, "What is paradise? You never elaborated on it." Sable cocked her head to the side. "So how are we supposed to say we'll join you if we don't know about the place you're talking about? Is it that important?" Honestly she wanted every and all her questions answered. Even though she would never leave the shelter to go on this journey.

Bandit:
He waited and waited till all humans were out of site. He was just about to walk up when a rope was around his neck. He was surprised by the rope but didn't fight. He was brought back in and placed back in the kennel with Cassy. Sorry Cass, looks like we won't be going any where for a while. Cassy sighed and lied down. Bandit right beside her. He thought and thought of how to escape.

"Well," Sadie started to answer Sable's question, then she stopped. She wasn't sure how the dogs would take her answer. "The thing is, no one really knows what paradise is like. I mean, obviously, it can't be bad if its called paradise, but all I know is that its a wonderful place. Other than that, I really have no better description." Sadie stared at her paws, ashamed that she didn't have a better answer. She wanted to reassure the dogs that the place they were going to was real and beautiful, but the truth was Sadie didn't even know if it existed.

Ace was left mouth opened after listening to Sadie's story. He wasn't waiting for something that wacky and weird,but something inside him was telling him that story wasn't as crazy as it sounded. He couldn't help but giggle."Well, if you are looking for paradise I'd have to say you're way to far from there. I've got to tell you...I don't think I've ever heard such a crazy, wild, bunch of nonesense." He stood up and walked beside sadie."However...I do believe in what you say, and it'll be a real pleasure to aid you in your wacky quest." He bowed as he giggled again, then he turned to the rest of the dogs gathered there."I mean come on...I think we all know there's somethig better than this somewhere. Don't you guys feel it?"

Jaidee was glad when Sadie finally stepped up to tell her story. He listened but he wasn't sure about it then it clicked! "I've heard of Paradise! I remember the story from when I was a pup! I hear it is a truly amazing place." He heard what Ace had to say and when he walked up and joined so did Jaidee. He was in for the adventure and he knew it was true. "Im coming!" he said when he walked up to the front of the dogs. He smiled at Sadie to reasure her and just to let her know that they will become good friends.

Bandit: The next time they let he and his sister out he broke out of the kennel. He and Cassy ran and ran until they met some dogs. They skidded to a stop and looked at them. Cassy was beside her brother both their ears upward they looked exactly alike. He didn't want to talk since he was out of breath so he talked between breaths. I'm Breathed. Bandit, this is Breathed heavy. My sister Cassy.
