Natrix gestured toward a small, run-down old shack a little ways away. "It looks better on the inside." he said. The wood was darkened and splintery with age, and some planks were cracked, but it kept them safe.
Abby went over to Ven and was about to carry him again.
Natrix stopped her and put Ven on his own back; he was afraid Abby might fall and hurt both her and Ven, so he took him over himself. It was easier for him, but the new wolf was still heavy. They entered the shack, Natrix pushed the door open with his nose and the inside contained some old mattresses for beds, a used couch, posters on the walls and makeshift carpet made out of towels and some fabric. He set Ven down on a nearby mattress.
"So," Abby began, "You've got a name?"

Natrix smirked when Ven admired their place. "Yep," he said. "Welcome to our humble abode. We just find stuff and keep it; make it more comfortable."
Abby smiled at him. "Absinthe." she said, "Or Abby, either one. Nice to meet you, Venganza."
Natrix grinned and went into the over to the couch, which was placed against the adjacent wall, then hopped up on it and laid down.

Natrix laughed out loud, covering his face with his paw. "If you insist, Vennie!" he teased.
Abby rolled her powder-blue eyes and sat beside Ven. "Ignore him." she insisted. "I like my name too, it means poison. Fits, huh?"

Abby stood back up. "I'm sorry," she apologized, blushing. "The healing process can sometimes just take it all out of you... you must be tired."

"Yes you are." Abby retorted, pulling a neon green towel off of an old wooden chair. She took the corner in her mouth, then waved it up and down for a moment before neatly placing it over Ven. "You need to rest."

Abby grinned warmly down at him. "You're welcome." she replied softly. "Now get some rest, I think we could all use some." With one final grin, she stepped onto another torn mattress and walked around in a few circles before finally lying down.
Natrix smirked at Abby, then at Ven. I think she likes you. he thought, hoping he heard it.

Abby began to drift into sleep, already chasing a dream. She gave one final sigh as she rolled over on her bed, finally out like a light.
Natrix caught Ven's head shake and nodded back. It's obvious.

Natrix rolled his eyes and shook his head as well, giving up. Within one minute, he was asleep and breathing softly through his nose.
[color=#FF0FF]Abby rolled over again, realizing her dream was going to be about when her and Natrix discovered their powers. She remembered the time she discovered what the bottle around her neck was for, and when Natrix opened his first portal. She grinned in her sleep.[/color]
