Jinks lifted her snout out of her paws at Maxwell’s words and rolled her shoulders forward. She stood up gracefully and limberly trotted to the window, her long legs hardly making a sound as she advanced. Her paws lightly tapped the ground as she lifted herself on the crate by the window and looked down. Most of the dogs were there, most of them shivering as well. Jinks’ smoothed her ears to her head and looked ahead in annoyance, she didn’t really want to leave the warmth of the kennel but couldn’t stand being locked up anymore. With a quick glance back she threw up her head and let a high pitched howl ring through her throat. She looked back ahead and without another sound leapt, or rather flew, to the ground. Her toes stretched out in front of her as she descended and her legs were kicked high in the air. Jinks’ muscles bunched together as her feet met the ground. Her shoulders hunched and her back end came down to. Jinks twisted slightly and took a few steps forward, happy about the cool snow under her pads.

Maxwell smiled as Jinks joined them. Now they were present and accounted for. "Alright then, everyone," he said in a loud clear voice to make sure that everyone heard him, "I think we should go check the town. Not to see if anyone stayed behind because they all left, but to fill ourselves up and then decide what to do from here on forward. We can choose to pursue the humans, perhaps maybe when this blizzard dies down a bit, or we can choose to go to the next town. I'm saying 'we' as in all of us because we should all stay together. No matter how much we dislike each other" - he glanced at Mishka who snorted aggressively at him "- we're all stuck together. That may not mean much to some of you, but we thrive better as a group than alone. Does anyone have any objections to this? Speak up please!"

"I do," growled Mishka. "Most of all, I fail to see how you're the one who's instructing all of us. Let someone with more power and more intelligence be in charge."

Maxwell raised his eyebrows. "Funny Mishka, because if you're trying to elect yourself as a candidate, I'm afraid you'd see everyone else immediately oppose to you. I am not trying to take charge of this group, but instead trying to suggest and lead. I am the oldest one here, and the one responsible for all of you. Whether you think the same or not."

Mishka let out a low growl but she shut up after Maxwell's retort to her. Color raised his voice. "I think it would be a good idea to hide out in the town at least until this blizzard dies down. They have food and they'll be much easier getting in and out of unlike our kennels. And I'm a bit... hungry," he admitted, albeit he was a bit embarrassed.

Maxwell laughed. "There, that's one opinion. Anyone else have a say?"

"Power and intelligence doesn't matter right now," Ember growled. "What's most important is our survival as a group. Why are you thinking like a wolf? We're dogs!"

Huffing, Ember turned her attention away from the female and put her gaze on Maxwell. "I also agree with you on all of us going to town," she replied, her voice now a lot calmer than earlier. Who knew, possibly they could find another human still lurking around or a passing animal who might know what was up. Her eyes trailed over thee other dogs around her, hoping they all would agree. Maxwell seemed like the perfect leader at the moment. He was about the only one of them would could stand Mishka's attitude.

Mishka snorted. "I'm not thinking like a wolf. I'm thinking realistically. We don't want a wimp " - she cast a quick glare at Color - "or someone stupid in charge. We need a good leader who can make good decisions and who can keep everyone in charge-"

"Sorry to quickly cut you off Mishka because you were on a roll," said Maxwell, "but as Ember has suggested, that is the mindset of a wolf. We are not a pack and I would prefer we do not go through the task of setting ourselves up into positions. We are all equals here, and I would prefer you think the same, whether you're too stubborn to admit it." Once he was down snapping at Mishka, Maxwell looked at everyone else. "The same goes for all of you. No one is better than the other, and I should hope that you all feel the same. We're all dogs here and we're all for the same reason. One is not better than another." His eyes turned to Color, he said, "And Color... you are just as strong as the other dogs here. If anyone says anything, don't let them get you done. The same goes for the rest of you."

Color felt his cheeks burn a bit. "T-Thank you Maxwell..." In gratitude, Color bowed his head slightly to Maxwell.

"Now it seems we're all in vote of going to the town." Maxwell turned his head to Jinxs and Scarlett, the only two who haven't had their says yet. "Well, what will it be?"

So many things Jinks could say to this! She could recoil and argue that the mindset of a wolf IS the best way to go. She could speak up and argue until her throat was too raw to speak anymore. But, given the circumstances, going into town seemed to be the best choice. As much as she hated Mishka she agreed with her. Oh, so much to decide! Did she really want the rest of the ‘pack’ to end up hating her? It didn’t much matter. Jinks had guessed that the majority of the ‘pack’ was indifferent to her opinion at this point. If only she could be as good with others as Color and Ember are! But instead she was rather indifferent to the situation as they were to her. At least on the outside, on the inside she was in a panic. Of course no one could read her expression at this point. Her lips creased into a straight line and her eyes looked blankly at Maxwell. And another issue presented itself; did she want to speak again? Jinks realized it had taken several moments and everyone was looking at her. She kneaded the ground nervously and finally took a deep breath to speak “I-” Jinks looked at the ground “I agree with Mishka” Jinks looked at Maxwell “But only to a point!” she added quickly. Jinks suddenly knew she had a lot of explaining to do “The mindset of a wolf WOULD be a convenient way to go, with how efficient it is, I mean. But, I also agree with Maxwell. Town seems like a good option right now so I’ll go along.” Jinks finished with a light snort. She arose gracefully to her feet and padded over to Color, hoping he’d offer some comfort to what was about to be unleashed.

Personality: Very shy and doesn't usually fit in, but very hard working and is willing to do anything. He doesn't talk much but when he warms up to you he is a great and loyal friend.
History: Was rescued from a puppy mill in Alaska and was raised as more of a companion for an older man who has passed away. He is still young and is now being trained as a sled dog.

And reading your bio, I feel as though you are not suited for an advanced rp. Unless you can prove me otherwise, I'm afraid you cannot join. Sorry.

I'm very sorry.this is a new character of mine and i just wanted to try him out. And my bio was really bad I will admit to it and it was like that because I rushed it. If it is alright with you may I try again? And it will be alot better this time.

Personality: Red is very quiet and mostly keeps to himself. But he brings out the good in others.even though he is shy he is usually very happy and can always find a bright side to everyone. He has a good judge of character and knows who is the better choice of a friend. Red is just an all around loyal and good friend.

History: Red has come from strong racing lines. He is a bigger bulkier dog so that helps him a little in his training. Red was very close to his parents as a puppy but when he was sold to a young musher who didnt know anything about dogs and how to care for them Red was not cared for properly and was trained wrongly. He has had some trouble sticking with a musher due to his bad training habits. He has had some problems with his human relationships. A musher in alaska put some thought into buying this dog knowing he had some problems he bought red anyways. Red loves his new home and family. This new home in alaska has finally given Red some hope but right once Red starts warming up to his new human the storm hits and ruins his chance at happiness.......

Red was just walking through the forest which was a new thing to him. he could still see the town through the thick trees and was still deciding whether or not to go back or stay and have an adventure. "adventure" he said to himself. Being alone was scary for him but all if the new smells were so fasinating. He was still walking slowly not sure of some smells. All of a sudden he heard something behind him and he ran as fast as he could back into town. He relized once he approached the boarder of the small town that the noise was a small squirrel and laughed at his little scare and raced back to town before anyone noticed he was gone.
