Well, the fat little rabbit bore absolutely no resemblance to Sharpclaw. Telrock saw Fleck picking up a rock, but beat him to it. A sharp stone in his fist, the rabbit was soon stunned, if not dead.

Fleck grunted, and went and kneeled down by the rabbit. And muttered a quick blessing. He looked back at Telrock "Would you going to get some firewood?" he asked, Slickfur cautiously walked up to the dead rabbit and sniffed it, and quickly recoiled. Yuck! Slickfur squealed Who would eat that?

He looked at Slickfur. "Someone who's hungry," Telrock said, his stomach rumbling to emphasize his point. "And I don't mind," he added on, leaving the shore to hunt for wood.

Fleck nodded and looked around for some good rocks to start a fire with.

Behind a shrub, Darkfur watched carefully. He looked at the small human look around. He quickly snuck around the shrub. Only if he could get that rabbit...he hadn't eaten for days.

Slickfur was watching the woods carefully, he herd some paws steps nearby and squeaked, Wolf! he could tell by the oder coming off it's tangeled pelt.

Telrock soon returned to camp, setting the wood down. Only then did he notice the amber eyes staring at the rabbit. He took in the details of the wolf; it had been hungry for a while, by the looks of it. Its stomach was a lot smaller than normal, and the bones jutted out more than they should have. "Looks like someone wants to take our food," he said quietly.

Darkfur came out of the shadows, he growled at Fleck and Telrock. Give me the rabbit. He growled in warning.

Fleck frowned, he understood the wolf. When did he speak wolf? Fleck growled back It's ours.

Slickfur slinked behind Fleck.

Can't you hunt your own? Telrock asked, moving slowly towards the rabbit.

Can't you see I'm weak human? Darkfur barked.

"I thought it would be rude to mention," Telrock replied coolly. "You're welcome to share, though."

Darkfur's ears perked I can? he barked and cocked his head to one side.

Telrock nodded, ripping off both the hind legs and tossing them to the wolf.

Darkfur caught them and plopped down on the ground, he started chewing on them.

Fleck just frowned at his hands.

Telrock took a stick and began whittling it to reveal the clean wood underneath. He then stuck the rest of the rabbit on the stick, and stuck that over their small fire.

Fleck looked at the small fire. "So, how is it in Wolf Clan? Besides you know, almost verybody being dead..." Fleck trailed off.

Slickfur curled up in a ball next to Fleck and fell asleep.

Darkfur cautiously stalked over to the fire Is it ok if I sleep here? he barked.

"It could recover...." Telrock said half-heartedly. "I think some people may have survived apart from me. They could've been hiding..."

Is it okay if I sleep here? Darkfur then asked. Telrock nodded in response.
