Velmyra hurriedly stacked some manila tab folders and tucked them under her arm as her heels clicked down the hallway. She abruptly barged into the office most of the SAAND agents were conversing, dumping the folders on a desk, right beside some others that must have been delivered earlier. "I've got some news, kids." she announced, always referring to the other agents as 'kids'. She cocked her head and whipped her hair out of her face. "Some field intern just found remnants of dead skin from an Arc on the intersection of 34th and Ludlow. We can't verify which one yet, but at least we know they're somewhere in the city." she pursed her lips, then continued, "Shows how hard you all seem to be working."

Raze replied to Death, "I'm not letting anyone get anyone. We're a family and we look out for each other." Vivid had already fallen asleep leaned up against her big brother, so he leaned over and kissed her on the head. He turned back to Death and said, "You should get some sleep; we have to keep moving first thing in the morning." He turned to Dante, asking quietly, "You all right? Lookin' a little sick."

Death cuddled up next to Raze and whispered, "Hope you don't mind." Then, her eyes slowly closed and her breathing became steady and a little slow as she drifted off into a deep sleep.

Raze's gaze had suddenly gone from concerned to dead-serious. "We're not leaving anyone behind. Just be back by morning." Then, he smirked, lightening the mood. "Just don't get yourself into trouble. And don't choke on the cancer stick. I swear, you're sucking that thing down faster than you do blood."

Velmyra crossed her arms. "Yeah, we don't have much time." she agreed irritably. "What we need to do is get our butts out there. And I'm going with you. I've been waiting for this moment since I started working at this h***hole."

Velmyra resting all of her weight onto one leg, leaning to the right as she buttoned up her deep purple trenchcoat. She began to rant angrily, "We're supposed to be the best of the best in this division, but an inexperienced intern made the breakthrough discovery we've worked so long for! I swear, if we don't catch them after this we'll all be fired..." she kept ranting, but inaudibly and to herself more than to anyone else.

Velmyra grinned at Eric and reluctantly strutted out the door first, happy to know that at least someone respected her. She pinched the top of her coat collar to keep the chill air out as she listened to hear the others' footsteps behind her and ready for action.

Eric fallowed behind ready for anything he had gotten a burst of energy and he was on a roll He smirked with anticipation."So are these kids really all that dangerous?" he asked looking at Velmyra. "Cause I wont be able to sleep at night for a while knowing we are going after some harmless kids" the idea of it just did not feel right to him at all. "But then again a job is a job" he slightly shrugged as he continued walking.

Velmyra placed her aviator sunglasses on her head like a headband and explained to Eric, "These kids have been reported to possess unnatural, inhuman abilities. They can be dangerous to both civilians and themselves, and our job is to track them, contain them, and study and understand their abilities until we know if they need to be humanely euthanized." She walked with brisk, on-a-mission steps. 'Humanely euthanized' basically means killing them, but if it needed to be done to protect lives, it needed to be done.

Electric Tremble glided down the streets, trying desperately to find the rest of the Arcs. He had gotten split up from them a while back, some few days, and he had been trying to track them ever since. You should know them better than anyone, he kept scolding himself. Though that didn't seem to be helping.

He kept running, faster and faster, and the pure release of his emotions should have sent a shock of thunder through the air. Or some electricity in the least. Had he not been so strongly holding in his own power while he burned out his physical fuse, it would have. That wouldn't have been good either.

Little did he know that all of his efforts to cover up his power were in vain. New agents had found a shed of skin from him from a bit way back, and he had no idea of the knowledge. Because of him, things had potential to turn deadly. He still didn't know that yet, though.

At the moment, he was set on getting to the others. He finally splashed into a puddle, forgot to hold his powers for a split second, and watched sparks fly from the water around into the alley. He followed the small electricity flow and his eyes eventually came upon the group he had been searching for. The rest of the Arcs. Or, almost all of them anyway. Dante seemed to be missing and despite most of their sleeping forms, Tric felt just slightly on edge. He didn't know how or why, but he would know soon.

He sat down next to Raze and sighed out of exasperation. Finally he could relax, if only for a little while.
