Humphrey nodded, abd motioned any female wolves with pups to the kills. "Come on, they won't bite." he joked, getting a few giggles from the litlte pups. "Yeah, but who could tell those faces no more?" he asked Kate.
Lilly nodded, a few of the pups crowding around het abd Humphrey. Pups loved the Omegas, since those were their babysitters and playmates. "A lot of them are still small. They need all the food the can get.
Yana nodded, sighing. "I know darling, but you are wonderfully strong. I wish we could break you of that thinking." she said, letting the mothers and pups through to the kills.

Kate smiled. "The pups love you Humphrey," she said, looking down at them.
"Mr. Humphrey?" asked a little female pup. "Will you show us that tree surfing thing? Please?"
"Now pups, you need to eat, I'm sure Humphrey would be happy to later, but eat first," instructed Garth, knowing that was probably the better idea. "Is that ok with you, Humphrey?"
Blaze snarled under his breath, hating the attention Humphrey was getting, it made his blood boil.

Humphrey nodded, smiling. "I can show you all later. Go eat though, so you don't fly off." he joked, nudging them to the food. He smiled sheepishly. "Well, what are you going to do? They know me, and they know I'll play with them."
Lilly smiled, watching the pups go off. "You're very good with pups." she said, nuzzling Garth.
Yana growled under her breath. She hated how w eryone crowded around those Omegas... It made her blood boil.

Kate smiled. "I still can't believe how handy that little game you and the other Omegas invented turned out to be when we were trying to get back here, and when we had to save my dad."
Garth blushed. "Thanks, but I don't know how, my dad was never good with pups."
Blaze sighed. "It's not worth it, can't mess with them here."

Humphrey nodded. "Just goes to show you; having fun can save your life." he joked. "But it was a good idea."
Lilly smiled, nudging him. "Maybe that's why..." she said, giving a shrug."
Yana nodded, sighing angrily as she tried not to lose her temper. "I know, let's just try to grin and bear down. Other than looks, timing is everything." she said simply, blowing air from her muzzle.

Kate nodded. "Oh, here come our parents Lilly," she said, seeing Winston and Eve on their way.
Winston was getting older, naturally, so it was a plus to have his young daughters and their mates take over so he and Eve could retire. He smiled to his daughters and sons-in-laws. "Well how are you guys doing? It's been awhile."
"Particularally now, since mama bear is here," whispered Blaze, nervious around Eve.

Lilly looked and smiled. Their parents were getting on in age, and it was goof to see them relax.
Yana nodded, her body stiffening as Eve and Winston passed. "No kidding." she whispered, trying not to appear too dominant.
Eve was as pleasant looking as ever, but gray had sneaked onto her fur. Now, she stayed close to Winston. She looked on her daughters and son in laws with a cheerful smile. "You look like you've all done well! It's so good to see you four again." she said in a singsong voice.
Humphrey tensed up slowly, gving a large smile. "You both look well, sir." he said and nodded his head to Eve. "And you're as lovely as ever." he said, trying to be cordial without appearing nervous.

Kate gave both her parents a nuzzle. "It's good to see you both too," she said, smiling, always glad to see them. "The Betas brought in two kills, we're letting the pups eat first, they really need it to grow."
Winston nodded and looked to the Betas. "Good job then, two kills is a very good day's work."
Garth looked around but his dad was no where. He pinned his ears, saddened by this.

Lilly looked at Garth, knowing he was expecting Tony. She started to look about. She nudged her mate, happy. "Garth, your Dad's coming!"
Yana nodded, lowering her head respectfully again. "We've already been told by our gracious Alphas that they should last the pack a few days." she said, smiling pleasantly. "They're very mindful of our resources."
Eve nodded, nuzzling her daughter. She leaned in close, looking seriously at Kate. "Dear: Humphrey hasn't gone out of line has he? If he does, you feed his own legs one by one." she said darkly, her fur slowly bristling.
Tony slowly came up. It seemed his back as hurting him, he was usually quicker. His rusty red fur tinged lightly with grey. He saw the small group, looking stiff. He had never liked the idea of Alphas and Omegas mating... But it was his son, and he has tried to be more accepting. He greeted them. "It looks like everyone is doing well."

Garth smiled. "Hey dad, the Betas snagged some food," he explained. "How's your back doing?" he asked, knowing his father had a lot of trouble with it.
Kate was momentarally shocked by that, as always, even if she'd already been told that, it was never easy to take. She shook it off. "No mom, he's been a very good mate," she replied, smiling. "I really do love him,"
Winston turned to Lilly. "And how's Garth treating you Lilly?"
Once they finished eating, the pups pounced on Humphrey. "Now will you show us?" they asked excitedly.

Humphrey gasped as he fell under the wieght of all the pups. He chuckled. "Okay, okay. I'll show you." he said, standing up. He looked at Kate. "Ill have to catch you later Kate, okay?" he said, beginning to walk away, pups hanging on him.
Lilly smiled and nuzzled her father. "Very well, Dad. I couldn't have asked for better." she said, looking very happy. "Are you guys okay?"
Eve nodded, straightening out with a smile. "Of course, dear of course! He always seemed like such a nice boy!" she said, chuckling.
"It's that darn disc in my back." said Tony, stretching with a crack to his spine. "And what about you? How's everything going with your mate?"

"Alright, but be careful, ok?" asked Kate, giving him a nuzzle before turning back to her mother. "He is, also a wonderful peacekeeper."
"Really well, Lilly is a wonderful mate, we really get along," said Garth, smiling. "Well the pups are done, who should eat next?"
Blaze watched Humphrey leave and looked to his fellow Beta. "Let's go, make our move," he whispered.

Yana nodded, her ears going back slowly. "Lets go." she whispered strIghtening up.
Eve nodded. "Im sure he is, your father always talked so highly of him as a peacekeeper. And Kate, sweetheart, all we want is for you to be happy." she said with a caring smile.
Tony nodded, looking like he was thinking. "Its god to see you happy Garth." he said simply, before changing the subject. "Let everyone eat- I can see them all twitching." he said with a chuckle.

The pups followed Humphrey closely.
Blaze snarled, watching Humphrey closely as they followed behind him. "So, how should we do this? Pups might tell if they see us messing with him."
"Yeah, we're getting a little old, but we're ok," said Winston. "It's a major relief on us to have you four taking over."
Kate nodded. "Well I certainly am," she said. "Humphrey makes sure I'm happy, though I think he's a tad scared of you, you did try to choke him to death when we got back from Idaho."
Garth nodded. "Yeah, I'm starving."

Humphrey smiled, and ripped a half fallen piece of bark from a tree. "Here we go, sturdy." he said, grinning. "Anyone know a good hill?"
Lilly nodded, her tail wagging slowly. "Well, I'm glad we could help." she said, grinning.
Yana snarled, watching the Omega. "They'll go off after a moment or two..." she said.
Eve shrugged. "What would you have any mother do? I was worried for days and here I think... The most horrible thing has happened. I wasn't going to take it easy." she said, smiling. "When you have a daughter, you'll understand."
The statement made Tony laugh. He clapped his son on the back with a paw. "We should get you something to eat shouldn't we, son?"
