OOc: And Katie's song.... Now! ^.^


Katie nodded and quickly went through town. Once in the forest she shook her fur back to normal. She looked at herself in a stream. "At least I don't have to hide as much anymore. I can be me. But who am I without him?" she asked herself. Putting her bandana in her den, she drifted through the forest. "All I had, he took. I fell, with just one look. How could I be so blind? I thought I could call him mine... I was wrong. All around me I see this world, in love abounds. But for me where is it found? All I want is love, someone to call my own... Someone to tell me I'm not alone! But that's not the way it goes, I suppose. Not in these times... Where a man can leave his family with no reason or rhyme. I gave him my all, and now he's let me fall. All I wanted was love! Someone to call my own! A guy to hold me, and tell me I'm not... Alone!" Katie sang, coming to a stop at a cliff. She shook her head and howled, singing out her sadness.

OOC: I imagine it as a Blues song for some reason.

Jenna nodded, looking sad. "I know. In all honesty I feel responsible. I'm his parent abd I wonder where he got the idea any of this is okay." she said sadly. "So I am sorry, for any pain my son caused you. I know it's not my fault, and believe me I'm giving him a piece of my mind."

Tai nodded. "All we need is a plan! And we're smart, we can do this."

OOC: should this be where Shenkin comes in or is it a solo for Katie? Yeah, I see blues as well.

Dusty whined. "Jenna, there's no way this was your fault..." she said. "My parents split up because my dad cheated on my mom...it hurts so much to know I've had a paw in what my dad did..."

"Maybe we can help," said Sakak's voice, before he materilized next to them, visible only to them.

Cachen blinked. "I remember you..." he said. "You're...Sakak, right?" he asked.

"Yeah, you were here at Christmas, that was fun," said Lena.

OOC: I kind of thought he would be singing, hear her howl and then try and make his moves on her.


Jenna shook her head. "You can't have a paw in it if you didn't know what was going on. He should have told you. And even if he left Katie, I wouldn't be as angry as I am for him cheating."

Belladonna chuckled, her voice coming out of nowhere before she materialized. "Isnt that sweet, dear? They remember you." she said, grinning.


Kai smiled. "We remember you too... Belladonna?"

Tai grinned. "How can someone forget a half angel and a mischief spirit?

OOC: Ok, tell me how I do with him.

Shenkin walked through the woods towards Nome, he looked into a pond and smiled, vainly looking at himself. "Handsome as ever, well better move on," he said, heading onwards, he then heard a voice singing and jumpped. "That voice?" he asked. "That voice? Where have I heard it before? It reminds me of a time long before," he sung, his voice rather smooth, running through the woods and peeking out to see Katie by herself. "My my, can it be? My old flame do I see? And what's this she's singing of? Why her heart broken by her love? That stubborn old dog has his mind in a fog? Can't see the lovely thing in front of him, oh boy is he dim!" he sung, smiling slyly. "Why if I were that kind of hound, I might try to catch her on the rebound..." he sung, scratching his chin. "Oh yeah, I am!" he said with a laugh. He slowly walked out of the woods next to her. "Katie, Katie, is that you? Do you remember me, I sure do," he sung, looking concerned. "It's me, Shenkin, I don't know where to begin. It's been so very very long, since I've heard your sweet song. How have things been, since way back when?"

OOC: that was awesome!!! Good!


Katie blinked, turning to the woods to see a large male wolf come out. Her eyes widened. "Shenkin?" she said softly, pleasantly confused. "My old friend, it's so good to see you." she said, her tail wagging. "Where have you been? What have you seen? I thought on leaving our pack you were keen?" she asked, looking excited. "You've been gone for so long my friend! I've missed you so, I thought our friendship had come to an end."

OOC: Thanks! Though was Katie singing there and you forgot to put italics? Just wondering if I should continue the song.

OOC: We can end the song there if you want, and sorry, got so into it I forgot *blushes*

OOC: I want to continue, just was checking.

"Oh I left the pack, but to this land I've come back. When I was wondering far and wide for some meat, I heard a song that was quite sweet," sung Shenkin, smiling and looking in her eyes. He then frowned. "But my friend while your voice is sweet as suger can, the words indicate that you are in pain. You left the pack to be with your love, and yet now you're hurting for it, little dove," he sung, little dove being his nickname for her. "Tell me my old friend, has something happened to make your love end? Did that dog hurt you my dear? If so, I'm a comforting friend willing to hear." he sung, seeming concerned.

Katie blushed softly, surprised he still called her little dove. She frowned softly. "Oh dear friend, my love has come to an end. For him I gave everything I had. It was worth it: I became a mother, and he a dad. But after a year of family bliss, he goes and another girl does he kiss! He left me alone to raise our four pups! As a mate and father," he's messed up!" she said, but gave him a smile. "But it is sheer luck you came, my dear badger. Without you, I would have kept it all inside, and things would have gotten badder!" she sang with a blush. She had called him badger for his stubborness when they were young.

Katie smirked, standing up and walking around him. Her tail curled coyly under his chin. "You know I call you badger because you never give up. You're just as you were when we were pups! Now Kodi may have hurt me, this is true. But you wound me with affections you flatterer you! But yes my pups are beautiful in their own way. I dropped them with their Grabdfather for the day too... I wouldn't mind spending it with you." she sang, flicking his nose cutely with her tail.

OOC: That seems like a good place to end it. I liked that.

Shinken smirked, wagging his tail. "Well I don't have much to do, Katie," he said, looking her way. "So yeah, I guess spending some time with you wouldn't hurt anyone," he said, walking over to her, walking in a showoffy way.

"Yeah, Tai helpped you turn good," said Cachen, smiling to his sister.

Sakak nodded. "Yeah, and that's why we've returned to help you guys out," he said, giving a smirk. "We've been waiting for a chance to return that favor, after all, you did save her soul and got me set free after several centuries."

OOC: I did too, this is gonna be fun.


Katie chuckled, looking up at him with a laugh. "Shenkin, you were always very... Proud. It's not the right word for it, but it's the nicest." she joked, walking by him. "But I have missed you, my friend." she said sweetly, genuinely smiling.

Tai blushed softly. "You want to really help us?" she asked, smiling.

Belladonna grinned. "Of course we are. We really want to return the favor to you all."

Shenkin smiled. "Thank you, my little dove," he said tenderly. He looked to the side, smiling at his 'score'. He picked a flower and offered it to her. "For you, may it help heal your poor heart."

Sakak nodded. "Ok, so anyone have any good ideas?"

Dusty smiled. "Thanks Jenna...it's just heard to forgive myself for it...ever had something like that?"
