A predatory glint appeared in Sarzan's cold eyes as his gaze fell upon the town, and Zerran's words rang through the air. "Maybe we could get a drink while we're at it."

Min could see that the Maine Coon was worried, and the healer was at a loss of how to help. She was good with numerous injuries, but the hardest to heal were of the heart and mind.

Zerran chuckled and ducked his brimmed hat. "A nice tankard of ale- these warm-bloodeds know that, at least." he said, his eyes glinting. Moving the horses on the right road, he glanced about: soon enough there would be nought save for ash and char.

Purii blinked softly and reached her hand over. She laid it gently on Min's arm lightly. "You, um don't have t-to say anything." she said, slowly taking her weighed down hand away. "But, I am curious... Um, uh, are you a mouse?" she asked, blushing lightly. Quite a way to say how sheltered she had been.

Min's tail flicked in amusement, and she touched it to still the erratic motion. She dipped her head in comfirmation. "Yes, I am," she said, brown eyes glinting warmly.

"Oh..." Purii said, blushing deeper. "I have n-never met one of the, um, Rodentia... I have never even met another F-Felis before today." she said in that shaking voice, soft as the wind. "Mother a-always said I wa-was too special to 'mix'..." she said as wrapped her arms about her drawn up legs.

Min didn't like Purii's mother much, from what she had gleaned. The mouse frowned slightly.

Purii frowned as well abd blushed again. She looked down. "I'm s-sorry..." she said, gasping as she was forced to the side as the cart stopped.

Zerran smirked as he stopped, and tied the horses to a post. He looked at his friend. "Keep your face covered. Unless you don't want a pint of beer." he said a with gleaming grin.

Inside the Inn, an albino bunny was flirting with many of the customers. She giggled when a ferret tugged her tail playfully. A man behind the bar looked at her. "Enough of your games, Mei! Get back to work!" the ruby red eyes hardened, and Mei frowned. But she went back to work, serving food and drink.

Sarzan gave a crooked grin in return, covering his reptilian face with his hood.

"You alright?" Min asked, concern clear in her brown eyes.

Zerran nodded, covering himself with a hat and cloak. "Shall we, my friend?" he asked, taking the edge off his voice. He sounded like some hick from the countryside, which was comical.

Purii nodded, getting up slowly. She rubbed her head lightly.

Mrilli sighed, racking her brains to try and think of a way to escape. "We have they out of here... They're just adding more and more women."

Sarzan's wide grin was hidden within the shadows of his cloak, and he merely opened the door in response. Laughter and raised voices rang through the air, spilling out the open doorway.

Kistreth nodded, frowning thoughtfully. "As far as I can tell, we can't get out from the inside. We'll have to try something when they open the doors."

Mei was pushed toward the door, where the two shadowy figures stood. The albino bunny bowed respectfully. "Welcone, my lords, to our humble Inn. Please, follow me." she said with a wink go then, before walking towards a free table.

Linne shook her head. "How?" She asked, and shook her head again. "We have no experience with fighting. Well as far as I knew." she said, her ears drooping. "Dracos won't stand for any sort of fighting back- they'll kill us!"

Kistreth frowned. She was right, of course. "There has to be a way," she muttered, tail twitching absently.

Sarzan couldn't stop his forked tongue from flicking out, slipping across his scaly mouth before darting back inside. He could smell greasy food, and the sweetish scent of spilled ale.

Purii shook her head, looking nervous. "There... There is no way..." she said. If the dd plan an escape, Purii would be of no use. She would be left behind.

Zerran put a covered hand of Sarzan's shoulder. "Keep yourself under control." he said in a whaler as they walked. He sat down where Mei specified. "Thank ye kindly Missy!" he said in a false voice, chuckling.

Mei only smiled. "Youre quite welcome gentlemen, now what can I get ya? Our inn boasts the best food and ale."

"Two quart of ale for me friend an' I," Sarzan said, speaking it the slurred, rowdy tongue that many of the tavern customers spoke in. The savory aroma of some meaty stew caught the Draco's attention, and he roughly pointed towards the muscled equinine who was eating it. "An' I'll be having wha' he is," he added.

Mei nodded and curtsied. "Si that'd be two pints and a bowl of stew." she said, winking at then. "Ill be right back with your order, dear sirs." she said, bonding off with a bounce in her step.

Zerran chckled at the girl. He looks at Sarzan. "Hungry? Are you not afraid that some fur will fall in?" he said with a slight sneer in his voice. He was a bigot and no mistake about that.

Sarzan shrugged easily, his powerful shoulders making bumps in his cloak. "Food is food," he replied.
