Zion Freezes as he watches the creature fly upwards into the sky, Shocked at what he just seen. Hearing the faint whisper of Hailey. "Gryphon..?" he questioned. facing her "What was that thing?! i never seen that before!"

"A gryphon, " hailey repeated, "A lion with eagles wings.. I've never seen one before, only in really old books my grampa had..and mom said they don't exist anymore!" she turns to Zion with her eyes sparkling, "but now...we have this.." she strokes the golden feather, the sun reflects off it, showing millions of tiny colorful prisms..
"An actual feather..here! take a look!" she hands the feather to him.

Zion looked at her like she was crazy, but he just saw the creature with his own ways. taking the feather " a Grython.." he repeated. "That was.." he turned back to Hailey " AWESOME! you SEE how it FLEW! imagine riding one of those! i bet it be REALLY cool!" he said bursting with excitment

Hailey grins even wider! "Someday, I want to ride one too! I wonder what it's like to fly?? WOW!!!" she dances around and wiggles with excitement.
"This is just too cool an-" she stops.
"should we tell anybody about this?" o.o

Zion stopped and turned to Hailey as she asks the question "erm.. Should we..?" He repeated to himself and pondered to himself, bonking his head with his paw a few times "Well if we told.. then they would want to see, and that might ruin our hideout!" he gasped

Hailey gasps too, "okay! that's settled then. We're not gonna tell ANYONE. cross your heart and pinky swear!" she crosses her heart and holds out her pinky.

"our next objective is to construct our fort!" She looks around the glen, "we will need tools..though.." she ponders.

Zion nods quickly "Yus!" he agreed, then taken by surprise as Hailey holds out her pinky, but mimicing her, Unsure what she ment by crossing her heart and 'pinky swear' he guessed its like a promise and taken her pinky with his and nodded "Tools? My mum tells me theres a... bla-.. blacksmith i think she said.. but he makes tools! lets go find him!"

"oh of course! The blacksmith!" Hailey looks to her left then her right, stuffs the feather in her pocket and asks, "do you know which way we're supposed to go? i don't think I've ever actually seen him before.."

Zion pondered "I remember seeing a Wolf use to hit stuff with his hammer. maybe thats making tools or something? lets start there! i remember where it is" Zion Grabbed his Stick and taking Haileys arm guiding her out the forest, rushing in a almost run. "Lets hurry! maybe we can get alot done before dinner!"

"okay!" Hailey's ears perk, "let's go!"
They come back the way they came, and past the fields and walls.
"Let's keep an eye out for those bullies, "Hailey whispers, "in case they see us.." her ears prick again as a constant ringing and banging sound echoes from the village,"that must be him! I can hear his tools!"
A steady plink pink plink, grows louder.
as they turn the corner, Hailey peeks her head into the shop.
"um..hello?" she calls out timidly and squeezes Zion a little tighter.

Zion heard the noises too and nods. Following Hailey, Peeking over the Window to see inside. Then seeing a Dark fur'd wolf in the back smacking stuff with a hammer. Lifting himself more up resting on the window "What you doing?" he said out loud after hearing the metal being hit by the Blacksmiths hammer so his voice was heard, knowing it worked as Zion saw the Wolf's Ears perk and he turned slowly over to Zion and Hailey. He was wearing something strange around his eyes that were big black circles. Zion blinked and Fell down from the window, taken by surprise of the scary looking eyes.

Ben Let out a heartly Chuckle as he saw the Pup's Reaction to his goggles. Lifting them up so his eyes were shown "No need to fear me, boy! Its only protection for my eyes. What are you doing here..?" Then he noticed another pair of eyes peeking at him at the bottom of the window. Smiling as he noticed it was a little girl. both the Pups looked quite young and curious of him. Putting the hammer down next to the Anvil and Walked over to the Window. Peeking over to get a good view of the two Wolf pups "Well Well.. This your girlfriend?" he chuckled

Zion blinked "Girlfriend?" he looked over to Hailey, wondering what that word ment. "shes a girl.. and yes shes my friend!" he finally got it in his head what the word ment. the look in the Blacksmiths eyes seemed alittle odd. but Zion wasnt able to understand his thoughts.

Ben nodded "I see i see. Whats both your names then?" He said looking over to the Little girl pup.

Hailey walks in slowly, slightly sciddish of ben's goggles.
"I'm Hailey..." she says slowly, "an this is Zion, " she nods to him, "we were just looking around..for um..tools.." She tilts her head impishly to one side and blinks,
"and yes I;m his girlfriend" she says with a wide innocent smile not understanding the real meaning. "an we're building a FORT!" she says proudly.

Ben held onto his belly and Chuckled as Hailey spoke "Girlfriend eh? You have a good eye boy!" he spoke. Zion just staring at him in near complete Confusion. Wiping his eyes Ben noded "Tools.. To make a fort you say? Well that does sound fun! i remember doing that myself when i was a young boy!" Ben closed his eyes for a moment with a smile reliving memories of being a kid again "And let me guess you both want some tools from me eh?"

Zion nodded "Yes please!"

Ben chuckled and sighed "Ah.. im not sure if thats a good idea Young ones. What would your mother say if she knew i was giving some tools to you both?"

Zion blinked "We can use tools! i got a Stick! and i havent hurt myself with it!"

Ben peeked over the window spotting the Stick Zion held "Heh.. I see, You wanting to be a warrior boy?" But he knew from the way Zion stood and his eyes shined. he wanted to be more then just awarrior "When your older, You come to me and we see about making that Stick alot better."

Zion nodded quickly "You mean like a REAL sword?! That be AWESOME!" Zion Swung his Stick "I will be a Hero then!"

Ben Smiled "This town does need a hero!" he chuckled "You keep a good hold of that stick and Protect Your lady at all times okay?"

Zion nodded "Ofcourse! il always prote- Whos my Lady..?"

Ben rolled his eyes still smiling "Hailey ofcourse."

Zion nodded and lifted up his Stick facing Hailey "Il never let anyone harm you Hailey! Promise!" he spoke full of enthusiasm.

Hailey tilts her head, "I'm Zion's lady?" she quipps, and blushes a little, but anyone can see she is smiling at the thought.
"Thank you Zion" she says softly and makes a curtsy just for fun.

Hailey's ears perk then flatten a little, "Zion will get a sword when he's older.." she whispered..."erm..what about me?" she tugs on ben's apron lightly, "can I...have..one too?..." she looks down a little and flattens her ears, thinking herself greedy, "Mommy says I will be a princess, but..."she looks up at him pleadingly.

Ben looked down to Hailey as she tugged at his Apron and smiled "You want a Sword too?" he asked gently, a warm smile on his face
