He looked at her, knownig deep inside she had to feel some madness at him, for what he did. Brady smiled, and stood, stil allowing himself to be lower. "Rii, you really think that?" He shook violently.

"Of course, hotshot." Rii said softly, flicking her tail to the side. "I never did like those humans anyway." Which was true.

Brady wagged his thick tail and turned around Rii. "Are you sure this is what you want rii?" Brady tryed to hide his excitment. He led her back towards a small cave, and he layed down.
"well, it's no couch, or carpet or rug, but its we're i sleep....." Brady felt embarressed.

Rii followed him without any hesitation. "Being without a human gives me a lot more freedom," she said. As they stepped into the cave she looked around and smiled, remembering times in her puphood she had called similar caves her home. She looked to Brady. "It's nice."

Brady smiled, hesitate still, but he felt more comfortable.
"Are you hungry? I mean, if you like fresh, i don't have any kibble..." He smiled, and laughed a bit, but then a serious look came over his face.

Rii couldn't help but giggle. "No, i'm fine." She smiled. "I caught a rabbit not too long ago." she paused. "But thanks, hotshot."

"okaaaaayyy..." Brady looked at the ground, thinking of what they could do. "So, what do you do in your spare time?"
Brady stood and stretched, and looked out of the cave again at the sky, which was a black color.

Rii shrugged. "I chase rodents, explore the woods," she thought about the things she loved to do. "Visit my friends that live out here." She chuckled. "Nothing real exciting." She walked over to where he stood, standing beside him.

"shall we walk then?" Brady offered, looking at the sky once more. I sure hope it dosen't thunder. I sure wouldn't like Rii to see me in that, im such a baby around storms. Brady thought to himself. He shivered, and led Rii down beside the river. The water sparkled a brilliant blue, and Brady kept an ear out for more thunder.

Rii kept even pace with him the whole walk to the river. Once there, she stood at the edge, her tail wagging slightly. She looked down, watching the water with sparked interest.

Suddenly a loud clap of thunder sounded and Brady yelped.he ran under a tree shaking violently. He whimpered, and his eyes screamed fear.

Rii jumped, not because of the thunder but rather because of Brady's yelp. She turned to look for him. "Brady?" she tilted her head, calling him gently as she walked over to where he was. "You alright?"

Brady tryed to get farther into the tree. shaking harder and breathing even harder. the thunder brought back bad memories of his past. he saw a flash of lightining, and suddenly he was young again. Watching his siblings burn in the fire caused by lightinging. He Barked and made a mad dash for the cave, not thinking bout rii. He shrank to the farthest corner of the cave, then he thought of rii, and it started pouring.

Rii was puzzled as she watched Brady dart away to the cave. She tilted her head and padded back to the cave as it started to rain. She thought about staying out for a bit to enjoy the rain, as she loved the water, but she was worried about Brady. She stepped into the cave and shook out her fur, flinging water droplets. She perked, seeing Brady in the far corner.
"Hotshot..?" she said softly.

Brady shivered, but looked up, and felt so bad.
"Rii.. Im sorry, i - i didn't mean to leave you, i just...Im, terrified of, um...Thunder." Brady confessed, and stood, shaking of his shivers. "Forgive me love." He smiled, and Nuzzled Rii, and He sat.
