Do people who dislike Balto make you angry?

Do people who dislike a movie I like make me angry? Nope. To each their own. If I'm lucky enough to find someone who also likes something like I do, that's neat.

I haven't seen Balto in a long time, but it wasn't something I could get into. I wouldn't call it a 'good' film, but it was certainly 'nice.'

People who are making offensive hate art and bash Balto everytime they have a chance? Yes.

I personally prefer TLK to Balto. So it doesn't really bother me. And besides, people are entitled to their own oppinions and don't have to like the same as us.

However, I have nothing against the real Balto. I wish they had made the film more accurate to the true story.

Now that I think about it, you're right. There are people on this forum who don't even like him. Quite sad. I guess it just confuses me when people don't like him. Clearly he hasn't done anything wrong. As for people who just don't really care about the story, it doesn't really bother me. Everyone is going to have their own opinion on their interest in it.

I don't really understand whats sad about it. Preferences are an entirely subjective thing. I encounter many who do and don't appreciate it. Obviously I feel a kinship to those that do, but I don't have anything against those who don't. As a pilot, I am in kinship with fellow pilots. That doesn't make me dislike those who are afraid to fly, even if were conversing in a arrangement pertaining to aviation

I didn't mean that I was saddened by everyone who doesn't like Balto or appreciate the story. Of course not everyone is going to be a big fan of it. I just meant that it's weird that you can find people who don't even like him on this forum that is dedicated to a movie on him. Over the years I've seen a few posts where people complain that they think he got too much credit that he didn't deserve, and other dogs were better heros, and so on. Of course he doesn't deserve all the credit but the dog himself doesn't deserve to be hated on; he isn't at fault for the attention that he or the others did or didn't get. That's all.

He's not exactly hated on. People just have pointed out that he doesn't deserve all the credit, which he doesn't. After all he only ran a small fraction of the relay. Every dog ran only a fraction of it.

It's not totally on Balto, it's more on Aleu. THOSE WHO HATE ALEU MUST BE DISRESPECTED. Aleu is the coolest Balto character ever.

( don't ask "why are talking about ALEU and not Balto. CWH14T-ESP-)

Also a lot of the people I know haven't even heard of Balto, real or animated... I didn't really care but still .Balto deserves better.
