Spyro smiled at Cynder. "See Cynder? You're not a monster, not even your mother thought that you were even when you were egg-napped by Malefor and Gaul and transformed into something completely different once you hatched. There were always others that believed there was some good in you, and even when I first saw you for the first time I knew there was some good in you deep down. You'll make a great mother, maybe even a greater mother than yours was..If you believe that you'll be a good mother, you will be." Said Spyro, putting one of his wings over her shoulders for comfort.

"Yeah, Spyro's right, it's all big, bad, and ugly's fault, even I know that," said Sparx.
Cynder nuzzled Spyro softly. "Thanks Spyro...it just hurts so bad..." she said. "It feels like someone shot an arrow through my heart..." she explained. "It feels worse than...than when Ignitus died...I thought that was the worst blow I could ever get...but this is worse..."
Terrador remained silent, knowing it was Spyro's place to help Cynder...but felt sorry for her...he knew it had to hurt to know not only was her mother dead, but she'd killed her. He remembered when his own mother died and how bad it'd felt...

Hunter had been listening from the door the whole time. Even though he already knew the story he just wanted to see Cynder's reaction to it. "Things could be a lot worse than this, it wasn't your fault." He said to the black and red dragoness.
Spyro nodded. "Yeah, and as my foster father used to say 'keep your chin up, your nose clean'." He told her.
Volteer cleared his throat. "Well now, it's been quite a long day...Let's call it a night shall we?"

Spyro smiled, Nova was obviously her mother's name. "Alright." He said to her and then started heading towards their sleeping quarters. Indeed it had been a long and eventful day for everyone, and it was now time for them to get their rest for the next day.

Spyro smiled again. "I'm sure Ignitus would like that." He said, glancing back up at the statue of Ignitus as he said this. He wished that Ignitus would come back.

"Yeah, good thing I was conscious to catch you and get us back to the surface," said Cynder, smiling. "That was tiring though, I passed out when we got to the surface." she said. "I know you'd have done the same for me, in fact, you did when the portal to Convexity was collapsing...I was just finally returning the favor."

"Yeah, lucky you were there." Said Spyro. He soon noticed that the two had reached their sleeping quarters and the door automatically opened upon their approach. Spyro sighed and entered the room, it seemed nice enough and he was glad he'd finally get a chance to have a good night's sleep.

Cynder smiled as they entered, but then looked somewhat unnerved. "Spyro...think I'll have nightmares again tonight?" she asked, she'd had nightmares every night this weak, terrible ones about her past. She didn't know why and kinda wished it'd just stop already. "I'm kinda scared."

Cynder smiled, giving him a nuzzle. "I love you Spyro...You're the best mate a girl could ever want..." she said. She laid down next to him. "Your heart is so kind...Sometimes I wonder...if our roles back in Convexity were reversed...how would I have reacted in your position?" she asked, looking thoughtful. "It's just something I wonder...would I have been kind enough to save you if I roles were reversed?"

Spyro opened his mouth to speak, but found he couldn't say anything...Would she have saved him if their roles were reversed? Surely she would have, right? He shook his head to clear that thought away and focused on the thought of him being a large and fearsome beast that would be much like Malefor in a way. This made the young dragon shudder slightly, just the thought of being like the Dark Master made his skin crawl beneath his purple scales. "I..I'm not sure what you would have done Cynder...I like to think you would have." He replied, finally finding his voice.
