Kya thought a moment, trying to take in both stories at once. At last, she spoke. "Zane, I understand why you left, but you'll still need to talk with Chief Tekuse when we get back. As for Shadow..." She paused again, scanning the stranger over. He was a bit ragged, but Kya could tell he was determined, and by the looks of it, young...definitely not even 16 yet. But hadn't he said he was a loner? What would a pup be doing as a loner? "Come back to camp with us," she said finally. "We'll speak then." Taki narrowed her eyes at her sister, but let it go. Kya was probably right; it would be best that Shadow became acquainted with Tekuse.

Zane rolled his eyes "Fine.."

Shadow was taken aback at being taken into camp "Like a prisoner right?"

Sirah clings onto Shadow's Arm, She was unsure why but she saw some good in this wolf

Shadow looked down to her "Whats with her? If i may ask."

"No, you're not a prisoner," Kya replied calmly. "And are you referring to Sirah? Nothing, really. She tends to do that...it's not a bad thing."

ooc--Just out of curiosity, exactly how old is Sirah?

Ooc: same as Kya i guess few months younger?

Shadow looked down to Sirah and smiled "Na it feels nice really."

Sirah felt his arm alittle "Hey hes quite strong. he could be a hunter!"

Shadow was taken aback at the compliment "Well.. heh.. Kay so this camp is which way?.." He said in a nervous way. he would of been more pleased to travel to their camp without Zane but he is a stranger. He doesnt deserve to get lucky

Zane huffed and stayed back to follow behind so he can watch Shadow, Watching as Sirah tugged him towards the direction of the camp

"Well, I suppose he would have to be, if he's survived by himself to this age," Kya told Sirah. To Shadow, she said, "We're getting quite close to camp, actually. I think Sirah will be able to lead you there just fine." She smiled.

Taki had bounded ahead and was nearly back to the entrance. She was the first one in camp, and she immediately sought out Tekuse. She found the old would sitting calmly outside his tent, surveying the camp. "Chief Tekuse!" She exclaimed, running up to him. "Hello, Shakohtaki. What is it?" He replied in his usual wise way. "We found Zane," Taki panted, "But we found another wolf as well. He claims to be a loner, but I'm not so sure. Kya and Sirah are taking him to the camp." Tekuse gazed up at Taki gently. "Very well. Bring Zane and the newcomer to me when they return, would you, please?" "Yes, sir."

Shadow was being tugged past Kya, but he managed to stop his weight to look at Kya "Okay Thanks.. and .. Thanks for sparing me and all.." he said looking down little embarrassed "I didnt know this was taken territory, honest"

Sirah got stuck at pulling Shadow as he stopped looking at Kya, making her ponder but she clinged onto his arm listening on the conversation

"It's alright," Kya responded. "Well, here we are," She said as the group entered the camp. She was greeted almost immediately by Taki. "Tekuse wants to see Zane and Shadow right away," Taki reported. "Um...alright. Let's go, then," Kya replied, walking towards the leader's tent. She beckoned Shadow and Sirah to follow.

Shadow nodded and followed after kya, still being clinged to by Sirah. He felt comforted having her on his arm somehow.. then the nice aura fell dark as he saw Zane come next to him. shadow turned his head to not meet his eyes. instead he looked towards Kya and Sirah as they led him to the leaders tent

Tekuse stood as the younger wolves approached. He nodded to Zane. "Good morning, Zane. You realize you missed the Morning Ritual?" He then turned his gaze to Shadow. "And you must be the stranger that Shakohtaki mentioned. May I ask your name, young one?"

Zane huffed in reply to his leader

Shadow answered more respectfully "Shadow, Sir"

Kya nudged Zane. "Show more respect for your leader!" She hissed softly.

Thankfully, Tekuse didn't seem to notice. "Shadow." He repeated. "And how old are you, Shadow?"

Shadow stood more tall "13 Sir" (Ooc: Kya and taki was 12 right?)

Zane didnt take affect from Kya, he was annoyed enough the wolf he was fighting is here in his camp talking to their leader

"I see. And just how did you find your way into our territory?" Tekuse inquired.

Shadow looked down remember his exile "I rather not get into detail but i was exiled.. dont get me wrong i aint a bad wolf.. but.. " He squinted and shook his head "Point is i was trying to find a territory for myself.. i was scolded alot being told id never be accepted into another pack.. so i decided to be loner.. and i was wandering through your territory on accident and got caught by Zane, he was stalking me and i thought he was going to attack so i attacked him first for offence.. its atleast the only thing i learnt from home atleast." He sighed "But im really really sorry for stepping on your territory sir, i never hunted once when i was here so il just find another place if thats your will."

Tekuse thought for a moment, digesting the information given to him by this new wolf. "Well, let's prove your old leaders wrong, shall we? Would you like to join out pack? You would train with Kya, Sirah, and the other pups to earn your Pattern at age 16."
