A black car pulled up along side er, Dante leaned out of the balck window "Want alift>" he askeed "Busescan be...unreliable"

"are you stalking me? How'd you know i have a sister,or where i live,or which bus i take or where i siton the bus or that i had no ride today?"asked sam. Jezze, she thought, i'm sounding like a 101 questions. Suddenly, there was a bang in the next street. Sam looked up and began to run towards the back street that joins her street to the one that the bang just came from, shouting her sisters name at the top of her vioce.

Dantewas already stood onthe corner, looking at teh chaos "Noone killed, Kid in the second to back row got badly burned though2 he said, He noded overto a group of people "Your sisters over there"

"How the hell..."muttered sam. She started to run but found dante already beside her sister."how the hell..." She said again.

Dante yawned "Well, Im going to school" he said "You want that lift?"

"don't you care at all about my sister? or for that matter, any one who was on that bus?you could have stopped that bus blowing up and stopped that kid getting injured and saved the school alot of money. AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS YAWN AND OFFER ME A FRICKEN RIDE?!"shouted sam." and no, i'd perfer to walk than ever sit near you or talk toyou again."

DAnte looked at her, His face darkening just like it had when she'd asked about his family "YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING" he yelled in her face "You're such a spoilt little princess! You donrt know what its like to nearly get yourself killed to keep people alive, You've never had to go a winter hungry, or Scavenge for an entire pack-" he cut himself off and turned away, Shaking with anger. He looked abck at her "o to your silly little preppy life, Just dont complain to me when Someone gets killed by something like this because I wasnt there to helpyou!"

" EXCUSE ME!!! ME," sam pionted at her self "PREPPY! AS IF! I'M NOT SPIOLT!! MY PARENTS DIED BECAUSE SOME ONE ONCE PLANTED A BOMB IN A BUS, AND YOU EXPECT ME TO BE FINE ABOUT THIS?!" sam was crying now, fat hot tears running down her face. Her sister hadn't been old enough when they died to remember them or miss them. Sam was 4 when they died though, so she remembers perfectly." YOU DON'T KNOW ANY THING ABOUT ME, SO DON'T JUDGE ME! I HAVEN'T JUDGED YOU, ALL I SAID WAS YOU COULD HAVE DONE SOME THING ABOUT THIS AND YOU DIDN'T!"Sam turned around and started walking towards her school.

Dante put a hand onher arm, His face was lighter but his eyes still dark, his irises almost black in colour "Sam...I-I'm sorry" he said "It's just been a tough few weeks. YLook, I couldnt do anything about the bomb, Not without getting myself beaten. As soon as I knew noone ws going to die I had to stand back. I don't know all the answers, I dont know why bad things happen to good people, i dont know why your parents died, I dont know why whats jus happen has to happen but trust me, If I stopped it things could be alot worse. if I stopped the bus bomb today, they might have set the next bomb in a classroom, or during an assembly. How many people would have not only been injured but killed then?"

" o shut up!" sam shrugged of dantes hand. "i don't need you, or any body. Now if you don't mind, i was just walking to school. So stop grabbing hold of me." said sam, wiping the tears off her face. Her arm had starting to sweat were his hand had been and was now cooling down.

dante shrugged "Fine" he said coldly "But play wih fire,little girl, and your gonna get burned"

"what? i'm not playing with anything, and i'm not little, i'm the same height as you. AND WILL YOU STOP FOLLOWING ME AROUND AND POPPING UP UNEPECTINGLY AND RUNNING WITH STUPID SPEED? IF I WANTED TO HANG AROUND WITH A FREAK, I WOULD HAVE GONE TO THE ICT CORRIDOR AT SCHOOL, BUT I HAVEN'T SO LEAVE ME ALONE!" said sam, workinh herself up into a rage.

Dante graoned "God! Look. I'mnot here just to interfere with your stupid normal little life!" he snapped nd shoved past her towars school

Sam fell over, hitting her head on the pave ment. She sat up, her eyes seeing three of every thing and feeling very dizzy, she tried to sit up but felt sick and puked in the gutter next to her. She could smell a rusty salty smell. And it was making her feel sick.

Randallaughed "Nice Going Dante!" he grinned sadisticcly "First we Wreck that bus, Then you hurt this one"

Dante winced "Leave me alone" he snapped "AND STAY AWAY FORM HER!"
