I belive that every animated film or action film on tv is manifested in some other realm or place whether its in this universe or beyond, either way thats what I belive.

I believe all come from the realm of immagination. Nothing more nothing less.

well if the realm of immagination is what their universe is than so be it it still doesnt alter that fact that they exist. whether or not we can prove it by intervining with magic or science to see them.

Has anybody considered what Balto's feelings on the matter would be. If we could bring him to our world it would completly turn his world upside down. How would you feel if you discovered that you where only created through the writings of another person? That you were origonaly just a character of fiction.

Also let us not forget that his time period is far before ours. How would he feel to know that planes are more used than sled dogs, or that now Russia and the U.S. alone can blow up the world god only knows how many times. He would be blow away(not literaly).

To add, how do you think he would feel about Bush beging president of the U.S., and if he shares the belifes of some of you, he would not be happy. Are you sure that you would want to do that to Balto when he already has a nice, peaceful existance.

I for one do not want to take Balto out of his own world and put him into ours. I simply want to be in Balto's world. I would do that even if it means forever leaving our world behind.

Balto woudnt have to know that his life and his friends were made up at least he would have a soul, if this world was made up by someone I wouldnt care so long as I have a spirit just as real people do.But bringing him into our world is something that even if one day is is possible to do as with many other film dimensions, it should probably not be done, but at least hitler would be long dead as would stalin and his communist regime,in baltos world the communsits would have just risen to power fully.Also in our world bush mabye determinded to destroy dictatorships,corrupt arab regimes and communist states by any means neccesary, but he is probably deep down a good guy.
But as for balto he probably would indeed be shocked to see that this world controlled by reality is the real world.

I do agree with you about balto having a spirit and soul. At times when I questioned my love of balto I finaly decided that even though he is fiction, he still has a soul. The love that we all have, and the passion people who gave birth to him and his world, that is what gives him a soul. If we belive, then does it really matter that he is fiction. It is just like with Santa Clause, even older people who don't belive still feel as though Santa has a spirit and we can feel it. Look at writers, they will not bend a characters personality to their wants, but instead ask themselves what would that character do, giving it a soul. Maybe I'm over obsessed, but that's how I feel.

This could be possible in the near future, if you imgaine the difference between what we are now, and what we were as primitives like homo erectus (scientific name of us somewhere in the beginning of our evolution). Could we then even think cars were possible? So surely we will be able to make an animated looking Balto, sometime...
