"Oh, sorry..My mistake." He appologised quickly since he wasn't used to appologies or even talking to other dragons for that matter. He sat down, looking at the two. "Why did you guys come out to this part of the woods anyway?" He asked, curious as to why they were in such a dangerous place.


ooc: I drew a picture of Pheonix on paint.

(Wow, that's really good for something on paint. Just one little thing I saw, which is that the wing is a little far down the body. It seems to come out of its rump.)

Aurora allowed her head to sink down again, but her eyes didn't close. Instead they remained curiously open and directed at the settled form of Phoenix. She used the opportunity to study him closely. He was not quite blood red, but slightly darker. His eyes were filled with fire, but had a thoughtful, dreamy feel to them. Aurora found herself more drawn than repulsed by the intensity of his gaze, wanting to know more about why he stared that way. She remained silent, allowing Glaedr to speak.

Aurora almost smiled at how Glaedr had calmed enough to speak to Phoenix, almost. She still had her soft green eyes transfixed on Phoenix's. Above them, through the branches, the stars shone brightly as the real night took over its imposter darkness. Even though their glows were faint, they somehow still reflected in Aurora's eyes. She allowed Phoenix to help her up, the movement briefly breaking her sight line with those red eyes. Fire eyes she thought. She leaned almost her full body weight against Phoenix, her smooth scales brushing his. From her tiredness she let her head drop sideways to rest against his neck gently. Her eyes opened to the sound of Glaedr's growl, which surprised her until she thought about how it must look to him. She drew her head away from Phoenix, although she felt as if she didn't have the strength to. 'Thank you' she whispered in Phoenix's ear.

Pheonix stayed silent for a moment before replying. "You're welcome." He replied in a soft tone. He started walking slowly and carefully, not taking his eyes off the path ahead. His eyes seemed calm at first glance, but deep inside there was a raging war between happiness and sadness, and so far the sadness was taking over. He had been this way ever since the love of his life had been killed.

Pheonix rolled his eyes when Aurora bumped him. "Still..I don't think I would like being around many dragons, ever since...she died, I haven't been socialising." Said Pheonix, staring at the ground.
