Ryan gave Nytro a sharp kick in the side. "Go, boy go!" He shouted as Nytro reared up slightly before running after Margenasell and her pet Graphite. Nytro was indeed faster than he looked, and his speeds almost rivaled Graphite's. Nytro roared at Graphite as if to say "Cmon, let's see what you've got!" and then ran ahead.

Graphite squawked and bent his long neck down, speeding up and sprinting alongside Nytro. The dinosaur-like creature gave a crowy chuckle, as if challenging the Triceratops.

"Let's see how he rides..." said Demis to himself, circling around his new pet and swinging his leg over the side, mounting the beast like he would a horse. He gave the beats a gentle nudge in the side and the creature sped up a little bit. Suddenly, Demis grinned and sharply jabbed the animal in the side, making it pick up a gallop. "Wahoo!" cheered Demis as he sped around on his new pet. "Just like riding a horse back on Earth!" he called back to the gang. As he slowed the creature down, Deminiscus patted the creature's neck and whispered, "Whisk." then, as he dismounted, he said to the gang, "I'll call him Whisk. It means 'to run'. What do you guys think of it?"

Nika lit up "He is perfect for you!" She smiled, her eyes bright.

Bic:// Suddenly, Graphite stopped and skidded, nearly falling back when an enormous shadow appeared before them. Graphite crowed and craned his neck, curious about the mysterious figure when Margenasell pulled his head away with the reins. She eyed the figure suspiciously, and it was perfectly quiet. No animals around, no wind, no sounds. She kept her breathing steady and squinted her eyes, and then, just then, realized what it was. Margenasell gasped and screamed, "RUN!" ...But not soon enough.

Borius brought down his mace on Margenasell and Graphite, roaring in delight to his people behind him. "This new king must not be a good one if he can't even protect one of his fellow knights!" he laughed heartily. He brought the mace down again, smashing Graphite's two front legs, leaving him wriggling and screeching on the ground, trying to get up only using his back legs. And with that, Borius fled, knowing now that someone will be after him and his people.

Nika heard the fall of Graphite and looked around."No!" She yelped, Kiba looked at her expectingly.'What if it had been Kiba instead of Graphite?' SHe winced at the thought and raced over to Margenasel to help her.Blood was everywhere it seemed as she franticly tried to soothe Margenasel and her pet."Oh no..." She whispered, hugging her to try to comfort her."Why did he have to do this, I mean-" She shook her head as she watched Graphite wriggle some more on the ground."Borgon!Borgon!" Nika was frantic, she knew that if Graphite didn't get help soon they would have to put him to sleep.Borgon rushed over and helped mend Graphite's legs while Nika was left with Graphite's owner.

Margenasell was panicking. "It was Borius! Borius the Brute was here!" she was shaking from head to toe, examining Graphite's arms. "Oh, he looks pretty bad..."

Demis jumped up onto Whisk and reared, breaking off after the others. He stopped Whisk when he got to Margenasell. "What? What?" he frantically said.

Nika looked at Demis and winced "It was a horribale and evil being.He did this...And no one can stop it." She whispered, eyes trailing down at the ground.She heard a loud bark and saw Kiba walking towards her "I'm glad your safe." She whispered very faintly into his fur.

Margenasell, eyes red from the tears trailing down her cheecks, stroked Graphite's neck comfortingly. "If these are his last moments, I want him to be relaxed." she whispered to the others, wiping tears away and leaving a streak of dirt on her cheek.

Demis flared his nostrils, taking his traft in hand and whirring it around his back. "Whoever that was..." he began. "He's not messing with the king's subjects!" he ended with a devious smile to the others. "Does anyone has a profile on this being?" he asked quite seriously.

"Do we know where he lives?" asked Demis, eyebrows furrowed in anger. "What's his species?"

Ryan commanded Nytro to stop. Nytro stopped, panting heavily, he then lay down on his stomach to let Ryan down. Ryan jumped off of Nytro's back and walked over to Margenasell. "Are you alright, Margenasell? I saw what Boriuntin did to your beast." Said Ryan, kneeling down to get a closer look at Graphite's wounds. His mother had once been a healer in the tribe and Ryan always used to watch her and sometimes even help her. "This is bad, his legs are serverely broken..and there are a few gashes, none too deep, but he is losing blood fast."

Demis couldn't believe that he had been king for less than an hour and something tragic had already happened. "What does he want?" asked Demis, holding back a frustrated scream.

Margenasell looked around at her friends uncertainly, then at the ground. "We weren't going to tell you yet, Demis," she began, "But it looks like we're left with no choice. The reason you're here is to not only rule... but to protect us from the Delireons." Margenasell looked up at him. "Borius is a Delireon General and he wants to take over our tribe for his people to live. And you need to fight him."

Nika nodded slowly at the secret they had kept from him "Its true, but we will fight with you, and so will the tribe.And maybe even the other tribes around us, the have been tortured by him for far to long, just like us." SHe explained, a glitter of hope in her eyes.

Demis put his hands on his head. "So this is why you all needed a king..." he whispered.
