Whisperer let out a relieved sigh. "Good." she replied. "On both things." she added with a smile.
Stinger was about to reach for the doorknob when he noticed something. "Where's the door?" he said angrily at himself. He growled at himself and flicked his wings again, then flew all around the small building, trying to find an entrance.
Ooc:// If you've ever seen Lord of the Rings, Stinger's voice is similar to Gollum's (the scrawny, pale, short, bald guy) But Stinger doesn't look like him, just sounds like him.

Suki on the other hand, butted in. "Yeah, on both things," she agreed. She cocked her head as she heard a buzzing sound, but dismissed it. Tey wre hidden ehre, after all.

Shadow Rider nodded. "Yes, I agree." he said. "But I wonder, if you knew who I once was, if you'd put faith in me at all." he said. "I barely put faith in myself after all I've done, but I must redeem the evils I've done, I think almost anyone can understand that."

Whisperer nodded. She felt sorry for him, but she could tell he didn't want her pity. "I can respect that." she said instead. Whisperer knew what he meant, even though she had never experienced doing evil. She wouldn't be able to live with herself. "I respect your courage to keep going on." she added. "I know I wouldn't be able to live with myself, even if it was just stealing a pencil from the store."

Shadow Rider nodded. He walked over to a box and got out a contorted, evil looking mask, setting it down. "This is who I used to be..." he said, they'd certainly reconize it as the mask of Nightstalker. "After I got my powers, I went on a rampage, killed many...including the woman I loved." he said. "When I saw I'd killed her, even though she still tried to help me, I saw the error of what I'd done, the evil I'd let myself become, and was grief stricken." he said. "I thought of many things, some...darker than others." he said. "Finally, I saw that there was one thing I could do to make up for the great sins I'd done, clense this city of the evil that infests it...so I could let my soul have peace."

Stinger sat upon the roof, cross-legged and ear pressed to the surface. He got choked up when he heard the Shadow Rider's story. Then, he squeezed his eyes shut and opened them again, furious. "You think you were unwanted?!" he screamed at the building, flying up off the roof about a foot. "You think you ruined lives?!" he was angry. Angrier than he'd been in a long time. Stinger'd ruined his father's career, he ruined himself, and he wasn't wanted anywhere because of his 'disability', as they called it. He flew around the back of the warehouse, sitting on the ground, rubbing his eyes and letting himself cool down.
Whisperer gasped when he placed the mask on the table. "Nightstalker." she breathed, her eyes nearly crossed from being so wide. She swallowed her fear and said confidently, "I know that you may have done some bad things, but you're sorry for them and are trying to atone for them."

Suki's eyes widened, a small gasp escaping her. "You were the NIghtstalker?" she blurted, without thinking. Her tone sounded horrified, aand she tried to amend for it. "But iI'm sure you'll mke everything right," she added hastily.
Kali refrained from rolling her eyes, hiding her slight guilt at what she had done herself. Oh well, it was all in the past now.
