Kaylum had to admit, tackling a 200 pound beast was no small thing. Zane was either really stupid, or really brave. And as much as Kaylum would have loved to think the first option, he knew that the coon kid at least had a brain.
With a "Meh", he shrugged it off.
"Don't you dare cause any more trouble." Tessa hissed.
Kaylum ignored her. "Not even in French class?"
"Haha, very funny." she said. "Let's get going. And ditch that ridiculous form, it's the last thing we need."
Kaylum shifted, keeping an eye out for Zane. Squirrel form just wasn't safe these days.

As Kat and Aurithaero made their way, they spotted a group of teenagers. Some of them looked Kat's age. They tensed and stepped back, only to break a twig. This made them stiffen even more, but Kat soon relaxed when she saw they had daemons like hers. She didn't know if they were the original teens who had discovered theirs or those who had done so later on, but right now she didn't care. She was just happy to be with others like her. And though she was still wary - Aurithaero sensed it in her, she slowly walked towards them.

Ilac looked over. First, his eyes widened at the tiger (or was it a lion? Ilac had flunked out of animal ID 101.) Next, he saw a squirrel, apparently talking. Then, the squirrel transformed. "Louie," he whispered. "How many Daemians did you say there were?"
Louie, trying to get used to the doggie wheelchair looked over. "No way," he whispered back. "You happen to go to a school with...how many Daemons is that?"
"This could be big..." said Ilac. He stood, parked his scooter (unhooking Louie's leash from it) and walked over, just in time to see the "squirrel" transform again...
"Holy..." said Louie. Speaking to the whole group, he yelled, "What on Earth or any other planet is going on?"

Noticing Louie, Kaylum scampered towards him.
"Coon boy just found out what happens when you attack a poor innocent squirrel. At any rate, I'm Kaylum, the human's Tessa."
"Isn't that supposed to be the other way around?" muttered Tessa.
"Argh, sorry you had to see that. Kaylum has a thing about figures in charge, and he's always challenging people that look down on him. It's an infuriating habit. And you are?" She asked inquistically.

Tessa rolled her eyes, and shot him a look.
"You have to admit, it was pretty funny, 'specially when I turned into an Elasmotherium."

Shay walked up towards Tess and Kaylum, who were talking to yet another daemian. "How many of us are there?" she muttered to Fen. He shrugged, unable to answer. Shay laughed suddenly, and Fen looked at her strangely. "What?" he asked.
"Zane has a new nickname," she said. "Coon boy." Fen grinned, and SHay tried to stifle her laughter. The pair reached them then, and Shay smiled at him. "I'm Shay," she introduced herself. Fen's tail twitched. "And this is Fen."
"Hello," he greeted.

Sorry 'bout that. It just started rolling XD So, should they be in the same class or what?
"We better get to class." Tessa groaned.
Despite the excitement of the epic battle with Zane, the legendary Coonkid, she had enjoyed meeting daemians other than Maya despite the conflicts, and she would've liked a wee bit more time to socialize.
"I've got French Class. Anyone else have it?" she asked, subconciously tucking a single rebellious strand of hair behind her ear.

Always forgetful, Maya began to shrug, before Fen nodded. "Maya does," he said. He made dure that he knew what was going on. Not knowing something set him on edge. "Guess I have it then," she said, shooting Fen a grateful glance with hazel eyes.

"Whew!" Tessa sighed. "Thank goodness. It's good to know that I'm not alone."
"I wonder if Zane has it?" Tessa whispered to Kaylum. "If so, that's the last thing I need."
The thing was, Tessa didn't dislike Zane too much. Sure, he had a few anger management problems, but she didn't think he was malicious, he just seemed to be having a bad day. It was Angel who really bugged her. The black fur, and stuck up attitude just really got to her, especially considering the fact that Angel thought she was superior, and more special than the other daemons.
"Kaylum." she whispered once more.
"Yes?" he replied.
"You're fine the way you are. I couldn't care what you look like. A squirrel is a fancy enough form for me."
"Good." he grinned, ruining the moment as usual. "Because I am who I am, and I'm not changing for anybody."
"You changed for me, part-time Elasmotherium."
"That was different."

"Ditto." grumbled Kaylum. He was still vaguely pissed at the fact that he had had to ditch his Elasmotherium form. He'd felt powerful in it. He shrugged it off though. He had bigger things on his plate.
"I say we all shrug it off and screw the public." Kaylum said, replying to Louie's question. "Freak 'em into not doing anything. There's no point in trying to conceal a 3000..... I mean sorry you're not a pound over 2000.... tiger." he snickered.
"Excellent." Kaylum grinned in response to Ilac. "We have company."

"I don't think 'freaking the public' is the best way to go," Maya said slowly, after a glance from Fen. "A squirrel, dog, and cat aren't that noticeable, or strange. Let Zane, and the fat tiger worry about themselves," Fen added. Maya stifled a laugh at the coomment about weight, her hazel eyes humorous.
