Tally shook her head in dishust. "That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard,' she said. Then she realized that she had managed to save herself, thanks to adrenaline and fear. "Well, I did save myself though," she said uncertainly.

"There's always that." Ayela nudged her friend to comfort her and padded away to follow Wanila into the forest. Hesitantly, she walked into the trees and felt like something was watching her.

Wanila lead the way through the forest without the slightest ruffle of fur like she usually did at the Tribe of Night's camp. Ayela sensed that something about Wanila was too weird to be left alone.

Tally felt the same way.

"Ayela, I feel like I'm being watched," she said uneasily, staring around with her clear eyes, her tail flicking restlessly.

Ayela suddenly felt very small, as if the trees were growing larger and everything was closing in around her. Her neck fur bristled as she felt the uncomfortable stare of eyes burning into her skull. But was Ayela watched, Wanila padded on without even looking around for enemies.

"So do I." She answered her friend and gasped in temporary shock as the ground fell away beneath her.

It was just a small pothole in the forest floor, covered in snow. Shaking the shock from her pelt, Ayela padded after Wanila eagerly.

Wanila sniffed the air, a familiar scent wafting around her. She was about to call out when another snow leopard leapt out from some bushes, pinning Wanila to the ground.

Tally stared in surprise at the snow leopard that pinned Wanila down, shock radiating through her. Her battle reflexes soon took over and without conscious thought, she leapt at the other snow leopard, her claws outstretched and glittering dangerously, her clear eyes hard.

Ayela picked up speed and dashed to help her friend and Wanila. Then she felt something slam into her side, a lot like Wanila had a few moments earlier. But this time, a large snow leopard gripped her throat in his jaws and held her down to the ground. They were being ambushed!

Tally was stopped a few inches away from Wanila's attacker, slammed into the cold snow, knocking the breatah out of her lungs. She hissed, struggling to breath, She finally gt her breath back, resuming her inneffective strugglings against her captors. Her claws were unsheathed, digging useless furrows into the snow and ice that blanketed the ground.

Ayela snarled at her attacker, gripping their ankle in her teeth. When she finally caught the sour scent of blood, she let go and her attacker sprang back, yowling in pain. She took the chance to jump up and pin the other snow leopard onto the ground. It was a female, a yearling like her. She bared her silver teeth and bit into the female's ear. Ayela was pretty kind to most others, but when it came to battle, she was vicious. She took the female's paw in her jaws and bit down until the sickening crunch rang in her ears. She had broken her attacker's paw. The female yowled in fury and pain and limped away. Ayela snarled at her then turned around to see Tally struggling under the wait of a big male.

"Get off her!" She screamed as she leapt at the male.

The male was taken by surprise as he was knocked from Tally. Ayela snapped at his muzzle and slashed at his nose. She backed away towards Wanila to let Tally finish him off.

Wanila pretended to struggle under the other snow leopard. But her eyes twinkled with amusement that Ayela or Tally could not see.

"You really should train your young better. They're getting worse then the ones in the Tribe of Night. Unsheathe your claws, make it look like you're attacking me!" Wanila ordered.

The cat on top of her unsheathed his claws but didn't dig them into her skin like he would to a normal enemy.

Ayela leapt at him, pushing him off Wanila and snarling in his face.

Tally lept onto the male, pinning him down, her sharp claws gouging into his skion, blood trickling. Her tail lashed angrily.

Ayela waited until Wanila got to her feet and faced her attacker before turning back to help Tally. She jumped onto the male's back and dug her sharp claws into his lean shoulders. He rolled over unexpectedly and squished Ayela into the ground. The world around her spun and snow covered her face in cold. She sneezed and the tree tops stopped spinning. She jumped to her feet and flung herself at the male. He was stronger then the female so she would have to fight him harder then she had the female. Ayela dug her teeth into his ear and yanked skin from it. He yowled in rage and snapped at her, his ear dripping with blood. He gripped her muzzle in his jaws and turned it to the side quickly. It popped but did not break as he had wanted and let go as Ayela claws his neck with her paws. He stumbled back and she whimpered in pain as her jaw sagged to one side awkwardly.

Wanila face her enemy and yawned. She wasn't afraid of this snow leopard, as she knew him well.

"So, Mikran, how is the Tribe of Light?" She asked quietly so Ayela and Tally could not hear.

She jumped onto his back to make it look like she was fighting him.

Tally dug her claws in harder as the male flung himself off the ground, trying to make her fall off of him. She gritted her teethas she slid off him, scrabbling in the slippery snow to get another hold. His heavy paw hit her, knocking her off him. She shook her head to clear it, scrambling up again in time for him to bowl her over. She landed on top, but that soon changed when his back paws cut her stomach, tearing the tender flesh open.

Ayela growled as loud as her injured jaw could let out. She clawed the male's eyes and winced as he snapped at her neck, piercing her skin. She nipped at his ear where she had bitten half of it off. He yelped and turned tail, fleeing into the trees.

"Good riddance!" Ayela snarled after him then winced as pain coursed through her body.

Her jaw hurt so bad, making her stumble a little as she padded up to stand by Wanila.

Wanila nodded at Ayela and faced Mikran.

"Greetings, Mikran." She growled.

She yowled, leaping off him, the blood that poured onto the ground enraging her. She clawed at him agian, ripping open an already large gash on his back leg. He let out a small yelp, slinking back, clawing at her as he fled, leaving a small spattering trail of blood in her wake. She shook her head in disgust, sending a spray of red droplets as she did so. She walked over to where Ayela and Wanila were standing, her muscles tenses, her dappled coat sticking up in blood soaked spikes.

"Wanila." Mikran acknowledged her with a slight nod, "Why are you- oh my god! Is your tribe making you bring kits onto other tribe's territory?"

He glared at Tally and Ayela, looking disgusted.
