"Yeah,"Rue said. THat hjad already occured toher. Two wolves named after the ancient spirits apper, adn a wolf falls from the sky. And they all seem to be....different. "A wolf falling from the sk, and two wolves named after the ancient spirits. This does seem weird," she added, summarizing it.

Luna was, well, not eavesdropping, but listening to their conversation. It was hard not to when they were talking about you. She followed Zein's example, pretending to fall asleep. Actually, she didn't feel tired, not with seeing the moon out there.

Sitka nodded, his eyes resting on Zein for a moment before looking back at Rue. They all seemed different, and Zein had a strange glow about her. Literally.

Zein was wide awake, as a star she always stayed awake at night and slept in the daytime.

Terra followed quietly into the cave, she walked behind Sitka, the sight of him made her smiled but once she got into the cave her attention was locked on her surroundings.

Legacy followed into the cave, he gave a mean glare to Sitka before walcing past him, following the females.

Rue nodded. "I've noticed. And Terra, no ordinary wolf could heal someone, no matter how different they are," she said. "Do you. do you think they could be spirits?" she asked softly, feeling foolish even saying the words. "I mean, Luna nd Terra are the names of spirits, and we just watched Zein fall from the sky, and survive, they might be," she said, braced for slight laughetr and embarrassment.

Sitka twitched his ears and though about the possibility for a minute. He had wondered the same thing, the exact words filtering his mind. But something inside of him, something deep inside, was trying to convince him that it was just a coincidence, these were ordinary wolves. Though he knew something was up, he wanted to thing of possible solutions for the wolves' actions.

"Well...we haven't been away from the pack a long time. Maybe these are something wolves do. I mean it seems different, but Terra and Luna might not be from around here. It is odd though that their names are the named of the ancients but what about Sol and Lupin? Surely they would be here too?" He asked then added, "And maybe Zein just fell into the crater. Its possible. But these are all maybes. We better watch them."

Zein sat up in annoyance, wanting to stop their conversation. She padded over to Sitka and Rue and sat down next to Rue. She hoped she wasn't shining, that it would not be too obvious that she was a star.

"What are you guys talking about?" She opened her jaws into a fake yawn as she finished her sentence.

"We, weren't talking about anything, just random stuff," Rue said, sounding cool and collected, not at all like she had made that up in haste.

"Why?" Rue added on to her sentence, making her forst statement seem more innocent. Zein very well could've been listening in on ther quiet conversation, but a simple white lie would do her no harm, she had used many of them before, and no one had been hurt by them. This one shouldn't be any different.

Luna finally decided she couldn't even pretend to sleep, not with the moon shining down brightly outside, ecspecially tonight. It was snowing, and the moon sent the snow shining and glittering, making Earth look magical, beautiful, and mysterioyus. She stood up, every part of her wanting to be outside and with the lunar orb hanging in the sky majestically.

"I can't sleep," she said softly. "I think I'll take a walk," she added, quickly walking outside, a cold wind teasing her fur gently. She smiled, pausing as her front paw sank into the snow, instantly hurting form the bitter col. She didn't care right then. She wlaked outside completely, the moon making her fur shine and sparkle, which she didn't notice.

Sitka nodded a slightest bit at Rue and added in;

"Well, what would you do if you were the rabbit confronting the bear?" He asked, making it sound like he was telling a story.

He yawned and felt the breeze ruffle his fur lightly and in a comfortable way. He lay down but didn't rest his head on his paws unless he fell asleep.

Zein nodded, a little angry that they covered up their conversation so easily with lies.

Rue shrugged as if answering Sitka, laying her head down. She closed her eyes in pleasure at the cool breeze that ruffled her dark fur. She reopened her eyes, now tired.

Luna smiled, her eyes closed, her paws light on the ground, her fur shining brightly, glimmering and twinkling like the stars that dotted the dark velvet sky. She opened her eyes, looking happily at the moon, joy coursing through her white body. She started to walk faster, gaining speed until she was flying over the ground, her pas hardly seeming to touch the snowy surface.

Terra felt safe around her friends but she noticed Legacy walking over to her she sighed and gave him a sad glance. He had layed very close to her, making her stir and skirm. Terra gave a helpless look over at Sitka before looking back at Legacy who was now nuzzling her. She looked up into his green eyes, he sure was handsome be he made her feel uncomfortable.

"You know...your the good looking" Legacy said with a toothy grin, he licked her cheek and tried to use a smooth voice.

Rue sat up[ at that. "Get away from her," she snapped at him, her words like steel, cold and hard. SHe padded over to Legacy, who was still grinning. "Or do I have to make you?" she asked, her amber eyes looking determined and icey.

SHe realized that her paws weren't touching the ground, only brushing it. That realization filled her with adrenaline and made her go faster, until she wasn't even sure her paws were brushing the ground. Apparently, the full moon gave her something special, something that seperated her from the other wolves even more.

Sitka glared at Zein, hearing a low growl rumble in her throat. Something about her gave him the want to kill something. His paws itched to leap on her and draw blood from her lean shoulders but he kept himself under control. The twinkle of amusement in her eyes told him she knew what he was feeling. He snarled quietly so only Zein could hear him.

"What are you?" He demanded.

Zein looked at him with obvious fake shock. Her ears twitched and she wrapped her tail over her paws, digging her claws into the ground.

"What do you mean?" She asked innocently.

"Come on Zein. I know you aren't from around here. You aren't wolf either, I can smell it." He growled.

"Maybe if you looked harder you would find out." She smirked.

Sitka snarled and nipped at her legs and snarled in her face.

Zein was gone before he could snap at her. She turned and dashed into the trees, laughing over her shoulder as Sitka turned, surprised, and raced after her. He howled and she ran faster, not as fast as Luna though.

RUe watched Sitka leave, feeling the same way as he did, but hiding it better and keeping it under control. Glad that the bloodlust was gone now that Zein and Sitka had left, she turned warningly to Legacy. "I swear, if you try anything-" she said, leting the threating sentence end with an ominous growl.

Luna stopped running, her sensitive ears ctaching faint howls. SHe turned and ran back, folowing the sounds. SHe stopped in dismay, seeing Sitka chasing after Zein, howling in rage. She stepped in his way, her white fur still glowing, making her seem like an avenging demon. An avenging, white demon. "Don't Sitka," she said, her voice still soft, but magnified, like it got when she was angry, or friends were in trouble.

Sitka skidded to a halt, snow flying up in the air every which way. He stopped just before his nose touched hers and he glared at her. He snarled in rage and fustration, something was pulling him towards Zein and he could not resist.

"Move!" He growled, attempting to dash around her.

Zein stopped a few wolf lengths away and smirked at Sitka, wagging her tail smudgly. She didn't usually act this way, but Sitka's presence made her do so.

"No Sitka," she said in a placating tone. "Stop running after Zein, she has done nothing terrible," Luna said.

SHe then turned to Zein. "And stop acting like that!" she said, her voice level dropping, but becoming icy, her words cold and hard.

Sitka growled impatiently and sat down, whining in fustration.

Zein glared at her and sat down as well, licking her paws and flexing her claws. She liked this wolf form, being able to run for what seemed like forever. She snickered as Sitka yawned loudly, making a snorting noise.

Sitka growled and dashed around Luna to leap on Zein. He pinned her down and snarled in her face.

"Leave me alone, Roadkill!" He growled and stalked away.
