Aurora flinched at Blade's mention of evil and hatred. "I might not show much emotion but I'm not doing it out of evil or hatred," she thought to herself. "Am I?" Now she wasn't so sure. "Maybe we both have a lot to learn. One thing for sure, something about him letting me go doesn't mix with his ideas about being evil and strong. Maybe we can help each other." Her thought pattern halted as she realised how much her emotions were factoring into the decision. She knew she was mostly giving Blade the benefit of the doubt because she liked him. Her eyes clouded remembering what had happened the last time she had trusted her emotions. She'd been captured and if not for Blade, probably killed. Her mind was paralyzed, her emotions wanted her to reach out to him, her training told her to escape as quickly as possible. She couldn't decide which way to side. Suddenly, her ears picked up the noise of another wolf fairly far away, but coming closer. She knew she had to act. "My training's always steered me right and I've been training my entire life up until today," she thought starting to run off. "But so has Pharoah." She stopped and turned looking at Blade.
"You've given me a chance to be free from Pharoah," she said, hoping he would listen. "Now I can give you a chance to be free from him as well. You don't have to always take whatever Pharoah does to you. We can find a different life." She gulped, knowing the risk she was taking. "Come with me," she said, trying to make it more of a command than a question. "Then Pharoah won't be able to hurt you ever again." She looked straight into his brilliant red eyes, focusing her hopes into this last glance.

ooc: I assume Sparks=Blade

ic: Aurora smiled as she saw Blade begin to follow her. "We'd better get going," she said almost absentmindedly as she began running away from the cave. She couldn't help but smile as she ran, she was happy to have Blade come with her. But then she realised she didn't know where to go. "I can't bring Blade to the Swiftpaw. They'd never accept him," she thought. She felt dissappointed in herself for trusting her emotions again. She looked up at the stars for guidance. The night was crisp and clear, the stars shone brightly. "Maybe we can watch the stars together," she thought to herself. She steered them into an open meadow and slowed her pace just a little, allowing him to get a little ahead. Then she pounced, playfully tackling him and rolling on the ground. She quickly rolled onto her back and began staring into the sky.
"Aren't they beautiful?" she asked, smiling.

ooc: Sorry, I must've gotten a bit confused. I am in the middle of writing a few fanfics, and Sparks is the bad guy (who is in love with Melody, a girl on the good team) in those fics XD. I must've thought I was writing my story or something.

Blade followed Aurora, their paws moving in unison. Blade was paying too much attention to his surroundings, that he hadn't noticed Aurora slowing down. His ears suddenly shot straight up, and before he knew it, he had been tackled to the ground. He sat up and shook the snow from his fur. Blade heard Aurora's question then looked at her. "Yes you---I mean...Yes, they are." Replied Blade quickly.

ooc: No worries. Just making sure there's not a random new character being added

ic: Aurora chuckled at Blade's flustered response. "Come on down and get a better look," she said laughing as she pulled Blade down next to her. As she watched the stars, she felt the stress and emotions of the day begin to fade away. It had been a while since she had relaxed and watched the stars and she had forgotten how much she enjoyed this. "My grandpa and I used to do this all the time," she mused, the words bringing back strong memories. "I'd spend the entire day training and he'd have to avoid emotion to keep the respect of the pack, but when we were out here looking at the stars, we could still be a family. It was the way I knew he always cared."

Aurora inquisitively looked at the gem. She had never seen anything like it. "Wow, it's very beautiful," she said, admiring the gem. She maneuvered herself to get a closer look and incidently get closer to Blade.
"I've never seen anything like it," she said, her mind racing with questions. "I don't know what to do with it either. Does it do anything? What did the mysterious wolf say about it?"

Blade stared at the gem. "I don't know if it does anything, and the mysterious wolf didn't say anything about it, she just wanted me to have it." Replied Blade, once again looking up at the stars.

ooc: writers block.

Aurora took one more glance at the beautiful gem and the gazed up at the stars. She hadn't felt this happy in a long time and she knew it wasn't just because of the stars. She felt safe and happy with Blade and she felt like she could tell him anything. She hoped he felt the same way. "I love watching the stars," she said, more speaking out than to Blade. "It's kind of stupid, but the stars give me so much hope. They make me feel so small, but at the same time, it's like I'm a part of something bigger. It's like no matter how dark and bleak my situation is, the stars are free to shine and so am I. No matter how evil everything around me is, I have the chance to shine like the stars. Silly, huh"

Aurora looked back at Blade. She thought about her grandpa and how much he cared about her and how much she cared about him. She couldn't imagine growing up without someone who loved her. She felt so happy when she was around Blade and she wanted to make him feel happy too. She snuggled into Blade, giving him a gentle hug.
"Maybe Pharoah's wrong," she said quietly, but reassuringly. "Maybe there's more to life than what he says."

ooc: Sorry for the delay. Took me awhile to come up with something to write

ic: Aurora looked at Blade and saw that he was smiling. She was smiling too as she gazed deep into his eyes. She wasn't sure if she'd seen Blade smiling and happy like this before, but she knew that she would do anything to make him happy. She felt her heart flutter and she knew she felt something special for Blade. She had never felt like this before and something told her she would never feel like this with anyone else. She began gently nuzzling Blade, rubbing her muzzle along his. She knew what she wanted to say, but she was nervous that he might not feel the same way. "I might as well just say it," she thought, looking at the stars one last time in an appeal for good fortune.
"Blade," she whispered nervously, looking straight into his shining eyes. "I love you."
