ooc- I'll have King Bob walk in......XD King Bob. That cracks me up.

"I'm sorry for lying," he said softly, her body warm against his.

King Bob walked in then to check on his daughetr. "Lying about what?" he asked, his ice blue eyes narrowed with suspicion.

Ooc:// Bob....hehe....Bob...

Rayna froze, unable to move. "Father!" she said surprised.

King Bob stared at his daughter and the Prince Ryan sternly. "Lying about what?" he repeated.
Ryan was frozen, unsure of what to say or do. He let go of her, breaking the embrace.

Rayna let go of Ryan, staring at her father. "Uhh..." she started to think of an excuse. Then she said, "He...lied about...the amount of horses he has! He said he had 27, but he actually has 28 because one just had a foal. It's an adorable little Thoroughbred!"

King BOb raised his eyebrow slightly higher, not exactly convinced.

"29 atually," he corrected, forcing a smile.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:06 pm

"Right!" Rayna added, doing a fake smile. "The last one's the cutest little Shetland for his foster brothers and sisters, because his family can't stand to see orphans in their kingdom."

Ryan nodded. "We got him only a month ago," he said.

King Bob decied to let it go. "Alrigh then," he said briskly, then left. He stayed at the door silently, eavesdropping.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:13 pm

As Rayna's father left, she heaved a sigh. "Phew." she said. "Thank God he didn't come any earlier than he did. He would've found out you weren't a prince after all."

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:16 pm

Ryan nodded. "And then who knows what would have happened." he said.

King Bob immediatly stormed in, furious about what Rayna had jsut said, and how Ryan had agreed. His eyes were blazing with anger. "Get out of here!" he said sternly to Ryan. When he had left, he turned to Rayna. "I forbid you to see him ever again!" he said, his face slightly red with rage.

Ryan quickly left the palace, hurrying home. He changed back into normal clothes, it wasn't any use to be in the other ones any longer. He kciked a wall, wondering what had gone wrong.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:20 pm

Rayna hurried after Ryan, saying, "Wait! Ryan!" until he left out the door to her chambers. Rayna spun around, tears streaming down her face, which was red with rage. "Father!" she cried. "How could you?!"

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:21 pm

"How could you lie to me?!" King Bob asked his tearful daughter. "He is not royalty! And you shall never see him again!"

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:23 pm

"And why not?!" she yelled back. "So what if he's not a prince?! He's the sweetest boy you'll ever meet!" She had never rebelled from her father like this, but she was angry.

Windancer · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:25 pm

"'Sweet' has nothing to do with it," he said coldly. Before she could say another word, he left the room.

WolfPaws · **Posted:** Wed Dec 09, 2009 4:29 pm

Rayna slammed her door and sat on her bed, crying alone. From the moment she saw him... she knew he was the one. But what now? Her father is controlling her life, and she couldn't take it anymore. She took the silky sheets off her bed and tied them into a rope, then flung the end out her window. She tied the other end to a hook on the wall, and she quietly slid down, feeling the smooth slide of the silk. When she reached the ground, she abandoned the rope. I'll camp out here, she thought, then i'll go find Ryan tomorrow. Since it was already dark out.

Ryan gave the wall one last kick, venting frustration. He crawled into his small bed, closing his eyes. He wouldn't sleep a wink.
