"She'll be fine."

Riri sat there for what seemed like hours, waiting for her brothers to come looking for her. She dropped on her belly and drew in the dirt with her paw. Suddenly, a crackling voice behind her screeched, "Bingo!" Riri didn't have time to turn around before the giant red hawk grabbed her with her talons and propelled herself into the air. Riri howled for help, "Help! Brothers! Come help me!"

Tango rolled his eyes. "Probably just a rabbit."

Jared pricked up an ear and listened, strained for sounds that were fading gradually. "Are you sure?" he asked.

"She'll be fine."

Riri was being carried high above the trees, and she saw her brothers. What she saw brought tears to her eyes. It was them, just... sitting. They weren't even going to help her. She tried howling again, but was cut off by the bird squeezing her tighter.

"Did you hear something?"

Jared looked towards the direction from where the sound came from, and all he saw was any regular red hawk carrying something that looked like a mouse from there. "It's just a bird carrying home it's prey. Nothing big."

"The circle of life."

As Jet narrowed his eyes, he spotted the exact fur color of the sister they had abandoned. He then let his eyes widen as he yelled back to his brothers, "Yo! That's Riri!"

"WHAT!?"

"That hawk, it's carrying Riri!"

"Thats inpossible." Tangle said.

Jet broke off in a canter after the hawk, yelling, "Come on! We can't let her die!"

"We'll never catch up." Tangle said.
