"Wierd! Me neither!" Vetch joked. Then he got serious and said, "I'll carry Nook, and we'll find a safe place for us to stay." With that, he gently picked up Nook, making sure not to cut him with his fangs, then he placed him on his back. He was about to go when something appeared before him.

Another lizard, this one blue, appeared before them and shot green rocks at them all. When the rocks hit them, the rocks expanded and trapped them. This lizard was frowning instead of smiling. "You have escaped from prison. Now you will be fed to Rohl, the great beast of the mountains, right away."

Vetch bared his fangs and tried to scratch his way out of the bubble, but all it did was leave white marks on it.

Nook's eyes opened a crack, and he groggily let out a moan as he stood up and shook himself off. "W-Where...?"

Atleast he was waking up. She unsheathed her claws, trying to puncture the tough material she was surrounded by. "As I stated before, wonderful hospitality," she said acidicly

Nook saw the blue lizard before him and he tried to run away, but he ran -SMACK!- right into the tough material.

"Really?!" Nook yelled sarcastically as he got to his feet again.

Vetch aimed his fangs at the material before him and thrust them into it. Surprisingly, they went right through.

"Yeah, really!" Rue shot back. She watched as Vetch's fangs sank through the material. "Sweet!" she said, wanting to get out. "Go vetch!"

Vetch couldn't help but stifle a laugh at Rue's cheering. He dragged his fangs through the material before he felt a burning sensation pulse through him. The blue lizard has shocked him with a pole, sending Vetch back against the unit.

Rue didn't care about the fact that the other giant lizard had the electric pole, she just wanted to get out of the freaking place. She leapt out, half braced for a shock

The blue lizard made the pole morph into a box shape, then he threw it at Rue, and it erupted into a flurry of electric gas.

"Rue!" Vetch cried.

"Rue! Nook yelled along with Vetch

Rue collapsed on the ground, semi-conscious.

Vetch watched as rue collapsed on the ground. An overwhelming feeling came over him, and his vision clouded over. He broke through the material, ignoring the shocks as he attacked the lizard who kept the same expression while he was being killed slowly. Vetch ripped out the lizard's windpipe and spit it out, then ran after Rue, nudging her with his nose, trying to get her to wake up.

Rue felt the nudges from Vetch distantly, and slowly stirred. Her expression cleared as she returned to consciuosness hazily. "I really hate him," she said when she was fully consious. SHe looked towards th eblue lizard distastfully yet again.
