Ooc:// Terra is Marco's sister, not Shiro's. Shiro has a crush on Terra, if you haven't noticed

Marco jumped out of the jet, and when he landed, he disappeared in what seemed like a great gust of wind. He ran so fast his legs seemed a blur, and everywhere he ran he left a worn-down trail behind him. He bent down a bit, then jumped as hard as he could to reach the window, since the door was aflame. He just made it when he heard a cry for help.

"Help! Somebody help me!" the voice called. It was coming from somewhere deep in the house.

"I could use a little help here!" Marco yelled down to his sister and Shiro as he searched for the source of the voice.

Shiro went straight up to the door and chopped it into pieces, then entered. He sliced his way through until he heard a child's scream. "Where are you?!" Shiro yelled through cupped hands. He received only more crying for an answer. He raced over to a nearby closet, whose doors were nearly melted, and he wedged his claws in between the hinges and broke the door clean off, throwing it away. Inside was a little girl, ashes and blood all over her face, crying her eyes out. Shiro retracted his claws on his left hand and picked up the girl, but kept his right hand claws out to cut through any obstacles. "Hold on tight okay?" Shiro told the girl, who seemed no more than four years old. He was almost to the door when a blazing plank fell from the ceiling. It landed on Shiro's back, which made him drop the little girl. He growled and threw the plank off him like how a kid throws the covers off of themselves in the morning. The girl was already crawling towards him when he scooped her up and ran.

Terra jumped into her wolf form and ran through a hole in the wall. She looked all around and tried to pick up a scent of any survivors, but the flames had washed out any sign of life. She chose a random room to search when she heard shuffling and choking. She bolted towards the noise and found a boy, no older than six, lying on the ground, holding his neck and coughing. She stood over him and said, "I've come to save you, now get on my back." the boy nodded, and he climbed onto her back, grasping the scruff around Terra's neck. "Now hold on!" Terra warned as she leapt over burning furniture like a horse in a jumping competition.

Marco sprinted toward the sound of the distress call and he came to find a woman in her early forties, crying frantically. "Ma'am," Marco said, "You need to come with me if you want to live!"

The woman shook her head and pulled away from him. "My children!" she cried. "My children are still in here!"

"My partners have them covered." he added calmly. "Now please come, trust me!"

The woman still withdrew from Marco. "I have to find my children!" she still screamed through tears. "I have to know they're safe!"

Marco just grabbed her wrist and pulled her up onto his back without another word. He ran with lightning speed and pinpoint accuracy, dodging every burst of sudden flame, until he came to the window where he jumped into before. Now, he was gonna jump out of it. He closed his eyes and took a daring leap, making his legs act like springs, propelling him from the burning building, He landed perfectly on his feet, then let the lady on her feet as well.

She grabbed Marco's shirt and screamed, "Now go find my babies or I'll-"

Right then, the middle part of the ceiling began to collapse, then took the rest of the roof with it, flattening half of the house like a pancake. The woman screamed and buried her face in her hands.

Shiro's claws then broke through a block of burnt something, then out came his head and in his arms, the little girl.

"Mommy!" she cried in happiness, trying to wriggle out of Shiro's grasp.

Shiro gave the girl back to her mother, and the mother hugged and kissed every one of her other children. "The kids may be a bit frazzled, but they're okay, miss." Shiro stated, examining his claws for scratches.

The mother suddenly was in a trance. "Wh-Where's my Caleb?" she became frantic. "Caleb is missing!" she yelled over and over. She began to cry into her hands again.

Suddenly, Terra's wolf body scooted out from underneath a pile of rubble. And on her back, clung the little boy, Caleb. She trotted over to the mother, who picked up her boy and hugged him.

"This dog saved my boy's life!" she exclaimed. "Did you train it?" she asked reluctantly.

Terra gave her a look and said, "Um, no." then she morphed back into her human form. She offered her hand to the woman. "I'm Te... uhh, Canid. And you may want to take your boy to a doctor to have his throat checked out. He was coughin' up a storm back there."

The woman didn't shake Terra's hand. "What are you people?" she asked, frightened a little bit.

"We're just heroes doing our job miss." said Jarret. "I'm Cosmos, this is Canid, the one over there is Velocity, the one in the metal armor is Steel Wing, the other female is Nightstalker, and that's Predator." he said. "We've got our powers various ways but we all agree on one thing, that we want to protect the innocent and delieve justice to the gangs." he said. "And we're authorized by the government to do so."

Jack walked over to the mother. "Miss, I realize this has been a trying night but I have an important question." he said. "Did you see anyone else in the house?" he asked. "I've discovered what appears to be an explosive device of some kind, this is an arson, not some random fire." he said, showing the granade casing. "Its an incinderary granade, its detonation is what set your house on fire, I found it in the rubble of the house." he said. "We need your cooperation if you want this man brought to justice for his crime, and before he can do this again."

OOC: The villian that did it was the same gang member who lit the school on fire, seemed like a good place to start.

"Well," the woman said, "A young man was hanging around here earlier. It seemed kind of suspicious to me."

"Just as I thought!" Marco stated. "Was it the Black Sharks, you think?"

Shiro, focusing on sharpening his claws against each other, said, "Who cares? Regardless of who they are, they'll most likely be back." Shiro struck his claws together harder and let out a shower of sparks. "And we'll be here to take them down."

"Couldn't agree more, Predator," Terra began, "But they could be anywhere right now." Then, she got an idea and rushed over to the jet and stood on the side of the cockpit. "If they have more bombs like the ones they used here, could we track the uranium frequencies in the area?"

Jack walked over. "He's got Firefly's powers." he said. "So he's going to keep lightning fires whenever he can." he said. "He can fly and has a lot of technology based around heat."

"So we've got to track down a super powered Pyromaniac." said Sally. "Well I guess this is the first villian...guys, you do realize we've got to kill him, right?"
