"No... we don't know these lands..., seperating would be even worse. We should find shelter and then go search for food... that way we would have an established secure location to return to."
Ash released a small, unoticable growl as he was snapped out by the female. He stepped back in pure shock, clearly suprised by the expression on his face. He turned away from Salome, not daring to look at her in case she countinued ranting.
"The wind is blowing that way. The storm is heading that way as well. So, we have to choose. Do we want to outrun the storm or try to run past it as it blows over before it rains? I see a canyon, a think forest, and mountains. There's a clearing over there, but considerung a storm is coming, that's probably not the best idea. The canyon and mountains may have caves but the thick forest will probably be thick enough to block out some of the rain and there may be some places with thick cover."
Ash, currently felt stupid for saying what he had suggested only a few moments ago. Now everyone was coming up with there own ideas, which were clearly more sensible then what the cattle dog had thought of. He sighed, as he felt like to be in his own little world, as he wished he could stay in forever. The sounds... the smells... everything seemed to blank out for a moment as he starred into space, wishing that this moment was only a dream, and not what it was- reality.
"Well, while you lot are debating I'm going to have a look around, before this storm happens thank you very much. Anyone else coming?"
Ash sighed once more as the stupidity sinked in. Now that he thought off it, this dog here named Zack wasn't seeming very sensable either when it came to looking around.
"I'm not going to stay here and wait untill we come up with another decision. We should just move. Now. I'm going with Zack."
Ash starred at his leader in astonishment, before racing after him, not sure what else to do.

OoC;; Azeriel! <3 -clun to- ** I'm very happy to have joined, luff <33 *** Conan is black text and Cooper is teal- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The air was filled with many scents that mingled together while the brewing winds began to pick up. A storm was on its way, which meant that prey would take cover in a short amount of time. Speaking of time, the russet-furred canine was clueless as to what time of day it was. The clouds had obscured the sun and caused the sky to grow dark and forboding. The young male sighed as he sat at the mouth of a cave that opened up to a gorge at the base of a mountain. His stomach growled, and with every attempt to keep his mind off of his hunger it ended in failure. Heaving a sigh as he rose to all fours, he briskly trotted towards his partner before proding him with a forepaw. "Wake up Cooper! We need to find soemthing to eat soon before the storm blows through." When the older male refused to budge, the russet-furred dog piled on top of him, nearly knocking the wind from the other's lungs. "Alright, Conan." Cooper moaned as he streched himself with a gaping yawn. He shook his silver and white pelt, freeing the many dust particles that clung to his body. "So what do you feel like eating today? Duck, rabbit, deer?"The young male pondered a moment. "Well, we haven't had deer in a while, mainly becuase those wolves chased them away. Should we see if the herd came back?""Might as well." The two males began to make their way towards the forest which was located about a mile away from their cave. Along the way, the two surveyed their territory, refreshing the scent marks along the boundaries and keeping a mental note to look out for wolf scent. So far everything seemed undisturbed, that is until they reached the forest.
Once they entered the underbrush near the outter layer of the forest, their noses were swamped with the scent of deer. Immediately their keen hunting instincts kicked in, and the two males stalked within the shadows of the trees, keeping clear of fallen debris such as twigs and crusty leaves. Cooper was the first to spot the herd and pick a target. With a quick motion of his head, he instructed Conan to take his position for an ambush. He watched carefully as his younger partner scurried silently towards the opposite side of the herd before he signaled with his tail that he was in position. Cooper readied himself for the chase before he sprang forward, bursting out of the bushes. The herd stood dumbfounded for only a mere five seconds before they scurried to escape. The large male was hard on a young fawn's heels as he nipped at its hind legs, leading it to where Conan was hiding.Conan was lying in wait for only a minute before he heard the rapid padding of hooves against the hard earth. In that instand he leaped over the bush, ramming the fawn to the ground. Before he even had a chance to get a good hold of the deer's neck or limb, it dashed away into a nearby clearing. The young male growled with frustration before he began his persuit. In a matter of seconds he had caught up with that herbivore and lunged for a limb. Once his teeth met fur his jaws snapped shut, almost snapping the fawn's legbone in half, before they tumbled to the ground. Conan watched as Cooper made his way towards the deer's throat before securing it in his powerful jaws. Thinking quickly, the young male also made his way to the gugular, but instead wrapped his mouth around the fawn's nose, suffocating it. 'This'll only take a few seconds...' Conan commented to himself, feeling the gradual decrease in the prey's breathing. In a matter of seconds, the fawn had given up its battle for survival and lay motionless on the ground. Cooper spat the deer's neck from his mouth before licking his lips, which were caked in a thin layer of blood. "Nice work, Conan. You're gettin' better and better at this." He praised, bending down to take the first bite. The russet-furred canine grinned at his partner's compliment before he too bent down to begin feasting. But before he was able to sink his teeth into the succulant meat, a mixture of unfamiliar scents, carried by the strong winds produced by the oncoming storm, caught his attention. He cocked his head to one side, pondering where the scents were coming from, but the swirling currents of the wind made it almost impossible to locate them. Instead he stood alert beside the kill, surveying the area in case they may have to chase off a few unwanted visitors.

[[ Missed Rpying with ya :'D ]] The sharp contraction of her unnatural light eyes faded once she looked from the herder. Everyone had to learn somehow, she figured. Her head rose to the scent of the storm approaching the group of dogs. Lightly flicking her audit to the left before rounding away from the group, letting all the others follow Dallas and Zack while she lingered at the base of the small pack of dogs. Her shouter rotating with each of her clean strides before they began to draw into thicker vegetation. Looking from left to right she began to hilt her strides at a horizontal pattern, going in zigzags along the group. Her tail slowly curling behind her like an in grown lever.
They walked like this for a few minutes, she passed various members, the thudding of her paws were scares and almost silence, her auds always pricked forward and listening. Even thought she didn't have the best site in the group, she made for in her powerful hearing abilities. Pro-longing her strides she began to trot along the west side of the group, the foliage becoming lighter, she could almost feel that the area up ahead would grow clear once more. "Hmm..What could be up ahead..?" She silently asked herself, narrowing her pupils until they constricted to miniature slits in the smoothness of her icy cold eyes. Something was stirring up ahead but she couldn't make clear view of it.
Curling her neck back she dropped her left aud, keeping it to the path in front of her before giving a low, yet profound yip to Zach. At the angle she stood, she was only a few meters ahead of the males that were leading. She turned her head up forward before leaning it down, her nose to the ground, pushing and unsettling a few blades of grass and various dead leaves but didn't find source. Instinctively she leaned her head up, her pink nose wrinkled as the wind rushed past her shoulder blades, lightly rattling the leaves from above, attached to the slim branches. Her tail slowly began to curl and wafer along her read hocks, parting and compressing the furs at the tip blunt of her tail.
Slowly but surely the scents finally conjured with her nose. They were much thicker then any canine scent she had come across before, and there was faint traces of blood mixed in, much like the formation of pelt and coloration's they made. Dipping her head again she leaned some to the left, hearing Dallas and Zach drawing closer at her right. Much like a pointer keeps it's gaze, Salome kept her eyes focused on the unseen creatures that she had scented it, and knowing how old the wind was growing she was more then sure they had scented them out aswell. She racked her mind over and over, but never did come across what species lingered right before them, maybe only long meters away.

Zack Hesitated, Slightly Shocked that anyone had bothered to followhim. He Started off again hiding the sudden Surprise that had gripped him and kept walking. He didnt know where he was going, And didnt really Care at the moment. His breathing was short and he closed his eyes for a second, Letting his other sences tell him of the other dogs. He abruptly opened them and scanned the area. That was when He noticed Ally Lagging, He refused to notice and Kept walking. He looked around again then up at the sy. A faint breeze hit His fur and The atmosphere felt...Heavty somehow. Was That The storm or The tension in the group? he asked himself. He Sniffed every so often. Keeping His paws Trained into a steady Rythm. He concentrated on his breathing again In,out,in,out,in,out,in,out he said in his head, Tyning it with his pawsteps. Everything seemed unreal, As if any moment now he was going to wake up from some stange dream and be bck in the truck.
Ally Dragged her paws at the back of The group,Her breathing uneven. Unlik Zack, She was fiuniding it hard going.

Luke hopped down and followed the main group, mainly Dallas, who had Julie on his back. He raced ahead to Dallas and Zack. "We're heading into the deeper part of the forest, watch out for snakes." he said. "Mainly Cottenmouthes and Rattlers, they're bad." he said. "I might be able to help but it might not work, and out here, one bite and it could be..." he made a throat slitting motion with his paw, making sure everyone heard and understood the severeity of the snake risk. "I'm serious, I might be able to get herbs to counter the venom but if I can't or it doesn't work, it could be game over."
