Holy......! Scary! Great job! The only suggestion I could make is to maybe lose the spiked collar, that almost seems like overkill. Other than that, it's right on the mark.

I agree about the collar. I believe that the demeanor of the villian has to come not just because he appears menacing , but because he acts that way. I would not just give it all up by how he looks. Just an opinion.



It is true that he looks menacing, but all of those add-ons are just cliche. You dont really need them, really. I would recommend a simpler design as now he can almost pass as one of Karnage Pirates.

Thanks everyone! But let me make it clear that the spiked collar was not my idea. I was going to scan the art when I stopped and re-read one of his old descriptions (in this forum) saying he wears a spiked collar. So I redrew him with one on, thinking it was horribly cliche myself, but wanting to stick to his description.

Opus, do you think you'd have the time to draw Jarret the way you see him? I don't know how to make him look like a tough, menacing pilot TS character, without someone thinking he may look like an air pirate.

I kinda like the older design better, but that does not mean yours is wrong. Anyway, we are just creating a character out of nothing. I have to agree that I can or should draw him more menacing, but what a heck I do need to draw him lots more and have feedback too to make sure we have it as we all want him to look. without looking a pirate or a monster.



Lol. I should make him look a little older though.

I guess I can see Opus's point... Syrena's is a little too menacing, but Opus's isn't menacing enough, so maybe if we split the difference between the two versions...

After some advice from Opus, Steet and 0x7b, I have modified Jarret's design. I shortened his muzzle, enlarged his eyes, and took a bit of the menace out of him. Now he can look nice enough if he smiles, yet still look dangerous if angered. Below is an example (and feedback is welcome).

Using JerRocks and Eclipse's? designs for reference, I came up with this concept for Griffith. Feedback, as always, is welcome.

Love them both very much. Y ou have hit the jockpot! I have to say that you are really good. Hope we can see each other after august starts. I'm leaving on august 5th , but then I 'll comeback on the 10th, for more.

Same thing, I'm loving them. Honestly, these drawings could really be official artworks for characters in the TS universe. Great job!

Yeah, I'm going to be around until august 5th, but them I'm leaving same day during evening and will comeback until the tenth. I have some mediucal procedures to take care of and they are being done at another city. After the 10 th it takes like another month for me to go back there again.

I hope to see you guys from the TSVS project on saturday. please let me know what schedule

Really good work. Only thing is maybe give Griffith glasses, that's the only thing that comes to mind. You're really good though!
