I mean, carrying someone up to the top of Khan Tower is pretty much required for a King Kong spoof episode. JerRocks2day wrote: There was also another idea I had in mind that was kinda similar to a scene from, Honey I Blew up the Kid. It's where some defense ships are shooting at Molly, they give her a little boo boo, she cries and they try to attack again.
But before they could, Becky grows 50 tall and stops them from hurting Molly, through non violence. The two are reunited and then are shrunk back to normal size. I figured it would be a good idea since Becky would do anything for Molly. Okay, cool, but one question though: What would be the point of an episode like this? What would be the moral/message? (Not that it has to have one, I'm just asking.) If the point is to show how much Rebecca cares about Molly, then i don't that would take an entire episode. Just wondering... JerRocks2day wrote: By the way, I know this idea was already done in 'A Baloo Switcharoo,' but I've been thinking what if the concept was reused, except it's now Shere Khan and Molly that switch places. Does it sound too reused? A little bit, yeah. (Sorry.) It does sound like it would make a interesting episode, it's just that I'm trying to avoid doing any rehashes of existing episodes if I can help it. But I'm curious though, what would you do with a "Khan and Molly switch bodies" episode? What would be the story/plot? JerRocks2day wrote: I just came up with a new idea in my mind. Since Kit is a preteen, we should definitely try a situation in which he start's going through puberty, and Baloo tries to explain to him that he's becoming a 'man cub.' PrtyWatrPrincess wrote: Baloo explaining the facts of life . . . akward! Ditto. In any case, an episode like this wouldn't happen for another season or two anyway, but when it did, I'd probably handle it like this: Kit goes to bed one night, and when he wakes up in the morning, he's grown a foot or two taller and his voice has changed. (For comedic effect, of course.) Imagine Baloo and Rebecca's reaction! They could freak out and think it's magic or something like that, but no, he's just hit puberty. When it comes to "the talk", Baloo could start to explain things (reluctantly and awkwardly on Rebecca's insistence) only to be interrupted by Kit who says that he already knows all about it (because of his street smarts), to Baloo's great relief. Lol, how does that sound?

I even thought of a good way for the plot to thicken. It would also rehash Professor O Bowens [A Baloo Switcharoo]. The possible idea is that he gives Higher for Hire a sample of the 'Juice of the King' that he acquired, to be delivered to the museum. He also advises them not to drink it at all. Molly, through a series of unfortunate circumstances, is thirsty sees the juice. She mistakenly drinks it, thus causing her to grow and grow. And now Baloo, Becky and Professor O Bowens must figure out a way[possibly through an antidote] to change Molly back before she remains giant forever. Quote: A little bit, yeah. (Sorry.) Not yet. Besides, I think it was only a thought in mind rather than an idea.
However, another idea just came to mind, which goes deeper in Baloo/Kit's relationship. In which it comes to the point where Baloo would want to adopt Kit as his own son, thus becoming his legal guardian. I thought it would be an interesting idea becasue of how he views Kit as his own son. And their should be a conflict that's keeping him from adopting Kit.
How does that sound?

How does that sound? Sounds good, that would definitely be interesting to see how much they care for each other. Though I think Baloo would need a big "push" to do this. By an external element probably. Because if he didn't do it in the series, why would he do it now? Baloo is often afraid of losing him to someone else (remember Stormy Weather), so maybe if Kit would try to find his origins and found someone related to his real parents, that could "force" Baloo to do something to make sure he stays with him (which would be a bit egoistical, but maybe that could be the conflict we're looking for) Quote: Okay, cool, but one question though: What would be the point of an episode like this? Just wondering... Just an idea. If Molly were to be a giant, she would probably use that advantage for acting like a superhero ("Danger Woman"), but that would ultimately be a catastrophy (she could succeed in helping people, but would also destroy everything on her path or undo any good she would have made earlier...) That doesn't help much for the plot, though, sorry... Not totally related to this, but : I should mention that EVERY episode in TaleSpin has the Sea Duck involved, one way or another. I think we shouldn't forget this in all the stories we're about to write. Maybe in that episode they could use the Sea Duck to get closer to giant Molly and talk to her, but I have the feeling that there could be a better use...though I don't have a better idea for now.

Quote: Not yet. Besides, I think it was only a thought in mind rather than an idea. Forget I said that. I actually did come up with a good plot idea while I was at work today. The plot involves one of SK's pilots finding one half of a mystical coin that contains supernatural powers. Shere Khan orders his men to find the other half, while he keeps it in his possession for safe keeping. Eventually, Molly finds the other half while playing near the beach. It turned out to be washed ashore. When she shows it to Becky, she thinks it's just some toy. But later at sunset, the power of the two halves of the coin are demonstrated, thus causing them to switch places. Molly finds herself in SK's shoes, and SK in Molly's. Now, unlike Baloo Switcharoo in which it's matter of them figuring out how they change back, the effect only lasts 24 hours, changing things back to normal. In that amount of time, Molly makes the most drastic changes to Khan industries, such as lowering gas prices, makes a pact with H4H, etc. Khan in the other hand isn't too thrilled that he's Molly. After they change back, SK changes everything back to normal, and as Khan industries should be. It's an idea. We definitely need a point in the whole episode's plot. Quote: Sounds good, that would definitely be interesting to see how much they care for each other. Though I think Baloo would need a big "push" to do this. By an external element probably. Because if he didn't do it in the series, why would he do it now? I had an idea for the conflict. Baloo learns that the amount of money it would cost to adopt Kit would cost the same amount to buy back the Sea Duck. We need to have a situation in which Baloo has that money and has to choose between Kit and buying back the Sea Duck. Sounds interesting, huH?

Definitely. And to expand on the 'Honey I Blew up the Kid' references, Molly's doll Lucy should be turned 50 ft. That way, the Sea Duck can carry the doll to attract Molly's attention. I especially like the idea of Molly being 'Danger Woman' while 50 ft tall.

I thought that we were going to stick to the orginal series as much as possible? Just for thought . . . perhaps the conflict that keeps him from adopting Kit is having the money to do so or the fact that he is single male would have been a huge "no-way" back in the 30's and 40's.

I'm new here but I want to contribute some ideas too: A Baloo and Rebecca centered episode like "My fair Baloo" where Baloo/Becky switches places and he will stand in for her this time A second Baloo and Rebecca Episodes, it should have the comedian and love/hate relationship part of "Time waits for no bear" and their teamwork part in "feminine air" Molly deserves a episode about missing her father and going looking for him. Paired with Kit it could be a really interesting story, they could about their perspectives without going to far into unofficial facts. I think it would work. A Baloo/Kit relationship story can only work for both when they share something in common. For example, Dan in "Stormy Weather" was like Baloo in a very abstract way, both are intersted in planes. I think the best way to approach a Baloo/Kit relationship story is something with a story about planes. Let's try it: I think a episode about Kit who wants to do [something with planes] at Louie's which is [not possible at Higher for Hire] could motivate him to stay there and [look for something with planes] which enrages Baloo, it comes to a conflict. The nice sidefactor in the story would be Louie who could talk and settle it with both of them. I think Louie knows very well that Baloo and Kit really care for each other, he would be really suited to helping realizing their unique friendship one more time. Shere Khan deserves a central episode too about buying Higher for Hire due his plans [to do there something]. Of course at the end of the story it will not happen but it would strengthen everyones bound to each other just more. I hope you like my ideals

But what's the conflict, or what's the situation that causes him to stand for Becky? It's an interesting idea, don't get me wrong. I would like to hear more detail.

JerRocks2day wrote: How will it strengthen everybody's bound to each other? As we know Baloo wants to get back the Sea Duck and Rebecca is a money maker. The story would be interesting from the angle that they're talking about selling Higher for Hire with arguments why they should or should not. It's just a rough idea, yeah. Quote: Okay. But what's the conflict, or what's the situation that causes him to stand for Becky? It's an interesting idea, don't get me wrong. I would like to hear more detail. It was just a rough idea and I really don't have any clues in which situation Baloo whould do something like that. Well, it has to be something which really hurts Rebecca -something like "Plot Chara XYZ says that she's a bad mother for Molly" and that would be the signal for him to jump in.

I just came up with another rough idea on my mind. Becky enters Higher for Hire in a TV show ala 'Extreme Home makeover'. She, Baloo and Kit go away during the time the remodelors work on remodeling H4H. The plot thickens when Wildcat can't join them, because he's sick.
And while Wildcat's resting home, he learns that the makeover of H4H, is all just a scam by some fraud workers, who are trying to destroy and put H4H out of business. And it's up to Wildcat to stop them and keep H4H to it's original self.

That could be funny, but I have some trouble to think Wildcat being able to do that by himself...or even understanding the situation.

I just thought up of a good idea for the return of Klang, as well as explores Baloo/Kit's relationship.
The rough plot idea involves Kit having amnesia [prob through a bump on the head], and doesn't remember his past, nor his relationship w/ Baloo.
Here's where TEK comes in. Klang, having recovered from the Tinabula incident, hears of Baloo living in Cape Suzette, prob from antagonizing Louie at his bar. He also hears about Kit Cloudkicker and his amnesia. So he decides to manipulate him so he can join him on the greatest archaelogical threat to mankind.
After Kit joins with Klang, Baloo, being desperate to get him back, teams up with Don Karnage and the air pirates to stop Klang.
*Don Karnage helps because the archaelogical threat means no more plundering for him.
It's a rough idea. But what do you think?
