I still can't believe that someone would even think of killing you. You're so beauti-" he stopped himself before he said the last word, embarrased he almost said his true feelings so quickly. He shook it off and decided to finish his sentence. "Beautiful." he said smiling.

Cameron lay down in an alley, his head sticking slightly out of the alley. He watched, listened, waited, but still there was no sign of the one he was longing to see. Maybe something bad had happened to that someone? Cameron pushed that thought away and shook his head. No, I shouldn't think like that.. He thought, getting up and shaking the dust from his coat. He then slowly padded out of the alley, he hadn't eaten for a few days so he needed to find something.

Rune's ears pricked when he heard the noise from behind him. Since he was always sort of tense when in the city and alone, he quickly spun around on the ice so fast that he almost fell down and faceplanted. He made a good recovery though and was able to avoid any embarrassment.

He looked over the wolf that was standing in front of him. He had seen her around the city from time to time, but he hadn't needed to communicate with her so he had just left her alone and ignored her. Rune didn't feel like taking any chances because he had an ominous feeling ever since he let the den. He just got in between his normal posture and a defensive stance and just stared at her, waiting to see what would happen next.
