"Thank you." Shade said to Sunny. "I'm so sorry for intruding on your business, but what are your names?" Shade tried her best to seem pleasant and polite, as to make a good first impression. Fang turned to Shade and said, "I'm Fang, this is my sister Sunny, and this is Terlan." Shade smiles at all of them, but her mind still raged on. Her mind said, "They'd better keep their distance if they want to keep their limbs!"

Sunnys smiled turned into a Frown and she Lightly growled..
"Ripp.." Sunny Mumbled..
"You smell like Ripp.."
"Why is that.. You also look alot like him.."

She remembered how Ripp almost killed her mother, that the lord that Her father drove him off and Gave him somthing to remember.. a big scare on the hole side of his face, the last time she seen him was when that happened but her memory was so Fresh.

Kayla interupted "And I'm Kayla!" The wolfs beutiful face made her grit her teath but with her lips closed so that she would not frighten shade. "Shade...such a beutiful name...how was it given to you?" Kayla waged her tail and eyed Taren who eyed shade.Kayla felt empty. Why was it that she was the fifth wheal it was noahs ark one boy for every girl...acept her!

"Come on Blue, lets go see what the pack is doing, shall we?" Surge stood up and waited for her to fallow "Come on Conan you too." He nodded his head in the direction the pack was.

Terlan turned his attention back to Sunny, as she was talking about Ripp. Who was Ripp? How come I've never heard of him? Or did I just forget? He shook that out of his head and said "Hey, let's think of something to make Shade be accepted into the pack ok?" Hoping to not raise up bad memories, he lit up a small smile.

Shade replied to Kayla, "I got my name from my colors. I remember my mother telling my father when I was young, 'Look at her gorgeous coat, it's the color of the shade underneath our peach tree!' And my father replied, 'Let's call her Shade then.'" Shade was beginning to grow uneasy. What if they asked where she was from? "That would be terrible!" Shade thought in her mind. Shade noticed Sunny growling about someone named Ripp and asked, "Sunny, are you all right over there?"

Her mother apeared "Hello," Blue greeted the wolf. So "i heard when me and my mate came your name is Shade?"

"Yes" Shade responded to Blue. Fang asked his mother, "Hey, Ma, can I talk to you in private? Just a minute, Shade." Shade nodded as Fang took his mother aside. "Is it ok if she becomes one of our pack? She doesn't seem to belong to one at the moment, and there's something... unique about her." Shade leaned over to see Fang and Blue. She saw and heard that Fang was trying to convince Blue to let her join the pack. Her mind said, "Does Fang really care about me? No one did ever since the incident..." Fang continued, "Ma, I can tell she would fit right in. So can she stay?"

Blue looked into fangs eyes. "you love her. don't you?"

Sunny looked at Shade. "He loves you.."

All of this talk about love was causing Kayla to grow uneasy. Her heart raced and it seemed she only had one shot. She couldn't take it any more she blurted out "Terlan do you want to come to the pond with me or bay at the moon with me tonight?" Kaylas heart jumped as she realised what she had done was like jumping of a cliff, she was going in one direction and couldn't turn back!

Terlan was confused and shocked. He couldn't think of an answer. He didn't want to be mean and say no, and he like Sunny. He didn't let out an answer and he knew he was in trouble. Now he was scared of two things, he might not have a chance to be with Sunny no more and be mistaken as a mean wolf.

Surge sat down and waited by the water as is mate went over to talk to their son, oviously they were planning somthing and if he was ment to know about it they would tell him, so he just stared at his reflection in the water.

A part of Kayla was upset that terlan didn't answer and the rest of her was relieved. He must have not hurd her and she didnt minde that was probably a good thing. She ran off back to the brook wanting to escape this awcward situation. Terlan was sweat and she knew if he had hurd her he would have politly declined. Kayla would find some one someday she just knew it! She couldnt wate to talk to the moon or Arora she needed help or her heart would break...or worse she might break someone elses!

After seeing Kayla run off, Terlan hoped that everything would be fine and no more problems would appear. Also, on the bright side, they have a new member! Fang and Blue were still discussing so Terlan just sat there and waited until he saw Surge sitting near a pond. Terlan went up to him and said "Hello, good morning."

Kayla gazed across the water at Terlan and Serge. The small colorfull fish darted back and forth around in the water again! "Awww what do you want?" She wined at the fish. "Will you quit taunting me? I already know your more beutiful than me every one is!" This wasnt true Kayla was beutiful more on the inside than the out side but enouph so that one could fall in love at first sight. After noone was coming and Kayla began searching for eather an early rising or late seting moone to howl to. She needed to ask the moon for help!
