Update again. I now use McAfee. AVG failed badly for me on my laptop before it died. Now that I have McAfee on both my netbook and my desktop, I've never had a virus. Though it does cause my desktop to lag if it is updating or scanning.

Mine is Microsoft Security Essentials. It does a good job. Updates often. Though when it updates it lags like crazy.

This reminded me to run a virus scan xD
Anyways, I have webroot anti virus. I've gotten a worm once but somehow webroot ridded of it. I like it, have no problems with it.

My dad downloaded all of it. is not recommended to have more than one anti-virus software installed on your computer, because they will use twice the RAM, and in addition there will be a conflict between the anti-virus and will not be able to catch the virus, the ideal is you have a an anti-virus and anti-malware installed on your computer, because they complement each other (if anti-virus is already anti-malware, do not need to install anti-malware)

I use AVG Free, I've tried McAfee, it failed, tried Nortin, it failed, I just hope Avg doesn't fail either.
I also run Microsoft Security Essentials, but I have the anti-virus turned off.
