Ooc:// Hey I have to go do the dishes so after my post we will wait for the others.

Leya walked beside Jenia and said, " So, What's hunting like Jenia?" She asked with her cub eyes.

Hayumi ran threw the tall grass, making no sound.SHe soon found her father's spot.Where her and he sat and wtched the stars, where she learned about the past kings. She sat down in the soft grass, flinching at every small gust of wind.A twig snapped, and of course she heard it."Whos here?" She snarled vicously "Matt? Is tha-What are you doing here?" She said sweetly, curios. She remembered the glare she had received from him earilier that day.She stepped closer to his scent "DO you hate m-me?" She whispered almost to herself, she was preety sure he couldn't hear her.

Matt jumped with surprise. "Um, no...I don't hate you." Replied Matt, his heart was almost thumping out of his chest, for that sudden growl had scared him just a little bit. "Listen, have you seen any good prey lately like a zebra or a giraffe? I'm starvin."

Taka walked up to Shangeti and smiled, " Jenia is teaching them to hunt. How beautiful. Hehe. " He chuckled.

Yumi sighed "Don't show the pride where this is okay? This is my father-my place." She corrected herself as she began running forward."Shh...there..." She whispered, pointing to very plump and overwheight zebras."have fun with the baby toys I'm getting water buffalo." She smile dplayfully, to let him know that she was just teasing.SHe head towards her prey, a large -and enraged already-male water buffalo. She made her attack plan un her head. And she went in.She ran into action, her paws a blur in the tall grass as the buffalo's feet did the same. She leaped on it's back and clutched it's jugular and it slowed to a stop. She leaped off and watched it fall.

Jenia stood up, "OKay you two the first lesson of hunting is to choose the right prey," Jenia then crouched low, "Once you spot the right prey, crouch low to the ground, make no noise, be really stealthy, and most importantly you have to be strong enough to bring th eprey down, which you won't be able to yet, for you are just cubs, i'll show you how to do this," Jenia looked up and spotted a Zebra, "Okay, this is the show, you watch ad take in what you see," Jenia then snuck up closer and closer, she then jumped out and started to chase the Zebra, she then tackled it creating dust in the air, she then grabbed it's neck, it was dead withing in seconds, she then dragged it back to the cubs, "Alright you see, you grab the neck right here," she then pointed to the spot where she bit down, "Or here," she pointed to the hindquarters, "You bite here and it won't be able to run as fast, but where is the fun in that, gotta have a good chase every now and then,"

"But, are there any smaller animals that we can practice on Jenia?" Leya asked.

Shiro Grisha · **Posted:** Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:08 pm

Duni stayed quiet listening, but she agreed they should practice on something for their height, their cub height could do something to prey that is perfect for their height,

"Oh umm, let me see," she then looked up and around, she scanned the area, "Hmmmm, ahhhh," then she saw it a baby Zebra, it can ran and walk, it would be perfect for the two cub girls, "Alright over there, there is a baby Zebra, the both of yo cpu;d work together, which is what a pride does, the lioness like us work together to bring down our prey, much larger prey, that baby Zebra is a task for two young cubs," JEnia then watched the herd, "Okay go now, try the hunting lessons i taught you,"

Cloudedwolf · **Posted:** Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:53 pm

Leya nodded and they both crept up on the baby Zebra. Once they were close enough, they both lept out of the grass and chased it down and Leya jumped on it and bit down on one of the spots Jenia showed her on the neck and killed it quickly. They both carried it back to Jenia, " Like that?" She asked smiling with blood spots on her fur.

Shiro Grisha · **Posted:** Thu Jul 30, 2009 1:14 pm

Jenia nodded, "Yup just like that, good Girls," JEnia then chuckled as she saw the blood spots, "You two need a bath," she said laughing,
