i dont even know why its even called disney anymore its all teenagers and love/ boyfriend, girlfriend thing to me thats not disney, to me disney was animation about carttons but know.. know its not, its Hanna montana, cory in the house, Thats so raven ect. i do love thoughs programs sometimes im wetting myself when im watching them but i miss the real disney! remember tarzan, house of mouse, lilo and stitch ect that thats what i miss :(

Of course I agree, and I think that's one part of the reasons why The Princess & The Frog and their CGI films are underperforming : nowadays, Disney has also an image of making "teenagers" stuff, not so much animation. No one except teenagers like those shows, so this is giving a very bad image of Disney to adults especially.

Anyway, at least a good news : they're ending Hannah Montana!

Can't wait to see it replaced by something even worse...

As long as they are making money, they won't stop making low-quality and demographic-specific shows like that, especially because they're cheap to make when compared to animation. This is crual, but that's the truth. We can only hope that it won't last forever...

No more Hannah? YAY! Oh I am a happy little monkey now. :)

My guess for them finally ending Hannah Montana is:

A: It's been on for four years (an eternity considering until about 5 years ago, everything tended to have a 65-episode cap)

B: Everyone's aging out

C: (cynical side coming out) Disney wants their hands clean of this show before Miley REALLY does something stupid.

D: (related to C) Miley doing something idiotic (roughly "Vanity Fair"-level) would hurt the bottom-line, especially as this has been a recurring pattern with her.

Good Luck Charlie (one of the new shows) LOOKS (emphasis intentional) promising as one of those "everyday kid" series that Disney Channel last did with Lizzie McGuire.
