Sam Stood there, feeling confused. He was beginning to wonder if Opal was going to say anything at all, but to avoid sounding rude, he asked, "What's the paper say?"

Opal was surprised as Jack wrapped his arms around her, this was something she wasn't used to. She didn't say anything, but she quickly got up and grabbed one of the papers. "Here" She said to Noah "read it for yourself"
She watched bramble glare at Jack, she thought it was most likely because he didn't like being called kitty, since that's what little kids usually said before pulling his tail. Mrow he meowed, sitting down and licking a paw.

She sighed. "I'm just thinking.... about my parents" She asid, wincing as she said the word 'parents', thinking of them, killed by some creature, by the sounds of what Jack had said.

"Everything's gone" She said, biting her lip.

By now afternoon was setting in, and the sun was beating down making the concrete hot.
"Well.... I guess there's safety in numbers, I don't think we should split up again." She said.
"But... we'll have to keep travelling.... To find food that's not rotten. Maybe we should search for others, too.... we could stat with searching for those girls, I guess."

OOC: I am ducumenting this RP. Just decided to tell you all. :wink:

Jack sighed. " Yeah... I wonder what happened..." he said quietly, more to himself than others. Then he looked at them and stood up. "Yeah, I guess we could go. I'll wait for you two outside." he said and slowly walked out of the house. He looked around the street, and noticed thoe shadows again. He didn't follow them, he just kept on following them with his eyes. Then he looked back at Opal and Noah." You better hurry... Shadows again..." he said, then decided to slowly follow the shadows once again. He kept on walking very slowly, making sure that Noah and Opal will catch up.

Noah rolled up the paper. "I'll read this later. Opal, get inside and lock the doors... no, on second thought it might be better if you came with us." He walked to a tree and broke off some stout limbs, passing one each to Jack and Opal. "We'd better be ready in case those things try to attack us. We'll arm ourselves as best we can, and then try to find the girls Jack mentioned so we can all take shelter together. Opal, is there anything in your house that could serve as a weapon? Kitchen knives, or maybe your folks owned a shotgun?"

Connie barked, "where are we going now?!" her eyes gleamed as the sun hit them.

Angelica smiled down at Connie. then she saw that Connie had something in her teeth. she saw that it was one of thoses stupid squeeky chickens. she stood up full hight, and walked trying to figure out where Jack went.

Jack kept on following the shadows. He was entering one of the houses, till he saw Angelica. He sighed with relief and ran to her. "Angelica!" he shouted. "It's me, Jack. I found some more people." he said to her.

Angelica stoped walking when Jack came up with her. she sighed in releif. "good, and i hope there's more out there." she paused. "how many did you find?"

Connie sat down and yawned.

"Two more." he said, looking at her."C'mon, let's go find them again. And...Remember telling me that you saw another girl before? So where is she? Then we could all go and find those another two..." he said to her. " I worried about you two..." he said and chuckled.

Angelica shrugged. "she's probably following me with her dog, Sky. and it'a goodthat you discovered more people." she looked down at the ground.

"Yeah...So, can we go find them? I feel kinda bad for leaving those two alone..." he said and looked around. He started to walk away from Angelica, looking for Noah and Opal. He kept on walking, till he reached the same house he was in before. " Opal! Noah! I found these girls..." he said, smiling.

Angelica walked bihind Jack.

Connie jumped around. "is there more people in there!?" she yipped. she saw a scarry looking shadow. she snarled at it. "get away you shadow!"

Rosey walked aimlessly. She hadnt had a clue where Angelica and Connie went. She sighed and walked in a shop taking some food and sweets.

Skye trotted in after her. "Rosey, Aww your hungry. Oh I know you love jelly babies" she barked as she jumped up and took a packet of jelly babies off a shelf and ran to Rosey.

Rosey looked at Skye and laughed taking the packet from her. "Good girl. You know just what I like" she laughed patting her head.

Angelica looked around for Rosey. she looked dow at Connie. "i need you to find Rosey and Skye." she un-hitched the collar from Connie's leash and her colloar.

Connie took off looking for Rosey and Skye.

Come on old girl" Rosey smiled putting some food in her back-pack and patting Skye's head before walking out of the door.

Skye wagged her tail and barked happily, Following Rosey out of the shop. She sniffs the air and looks around and see's a shadow and barks.

Rosey looks at Skye. "What are you doing you daft dog" she laughed and looked at where Skye was looking but there was nothing there. "Come on Skye" she laughed.

Skye growled at where the shadow was and then turned around and walking with Rosey.
