Yeah but still thats an awfully long time..

I've had people not wait for me for 5 pages and thats a ridiculous amount.. Its rude not to wait.

Austin sighed, just laying around in an air-conditioned room until something happened just wasn't his style, he wished that the strays were here, suddenly making things alot more fun, he'd pretend to chase em, but really he'd be running with them, he was a rookie after all and didn't think the strays were so bad, they just put a little bit of excitement into life. Austin got up from the cold floor and yawned. "Looks like today is gonna be another 'hang out with the oldies' day." He muttered curtly.

Dingo was not moving at all, he was sitting near Austin, trying to hear anything that sounds like strays causing troubles or police officers listening to the people's complains about dogs stealing food or breaking into their houses, but instead of that the only thing heard was Austin's muttering, growled but didn't look at him, he hated rookies, if he had to work with other dogs, he'd rather do it with experienced dogs that know what they are doing." Just keep your mouth shut and your eyes open, noob, strays never stop causing troubles, I'm sure we'll have to chase a few today and... you might as well learn something about being a real police dog, that way if you don't have what it takes to be a police dog at least you can find a way to look like one."

Austin glared harshly. "Yeah, I understood..I got every word pops." He muttered, unfortunately his father had just came into the room when he had said that and told him not to be disrespectful to professional police dogs. Aussie hated the lectures, he's rather eat outta the garbage than listen to his dad's lectures. Austin sighed partly with boredom and partly with relief when his dad finished lecturing him. Before leaving the room he shot Dingo a 'I don't care if you are older, I can do whatever I want pops' look.

He stayed in the room for a while, still paying attention to any call or sign of action, but nothing happened, and he had been waiting for too long."Well this is weird, why aren't those mutts making problems out on the streets...this doesn't feel good, I better go check out around town, they must be planning something." He walked out to the streets, looking around every corner, there had to be a stray somewhere, it was not normal for them to stay out of troubles for a long time.
