A growl swept along her lips as the bright sunlight was suddenly and brutality shone to her and William. Slipping her hand over her forehead, pushing aside various wisps of her long side bangs to try and see ahead. Everything was bright and white, her pupils fighting to get accustomed to the light. She wanted to flee, after seeing the winged beast take to the air and flap away from them his frame lingering into a tiny speck, surrounded by the blinding yellow light.

She huffed softly before piling into the back of what seemed to be a van. Noting the smaller cramped compartment sent a shiver up her spine, her tail fur standing on end. Her eyes looked down at her parsed breath as She instantly rushed to the far corner, her shoulders lowered and hunched over a bit in defense as she looked to the various men and back to the only being that held her sole trust in. She looked to his hand, before resting her other hand on his, and snugged close.

She listened carefully to the men talking and remained silent. Her hands stayed with their grasp on Williams as she subtly took her gaze downward.

agents are heading to the hospital now right?
And sorry it's short, they are really nosy people -_-'

(OOC: Yeah, that's right. And it's totally fine. Right now, there isn't a whole lot for our two characters to do, so I'll wait for another post from Suka and/or Lux to post again.)

Hark had gotten away from the complex in good air; the thermals were quick to lift him high above the gaze of unfriendly eyes, but no sooner faced the bitter reality that he was tiring quickly and needed a place to land and catch his breath... he was terribly exhausted. It also didn't help any that after about fifteen minutes of flying, he could no longer see the ground, as the complex seemed to be surrounded on all sides by thickening forests. From up in the air, Hark had no other guide to follow besides the highway, but he was quickly loosing sight of it as the forest became denser. If he didn't land because he was tired, he had to land to be able to see the highway again. His mind was now clear and he had enough sense to know that it was foolish to follow such a path, but if he didn't, he'd be hopelessly lost and... well... alone.

Memories of his escape from the complex called itself to his memory, and with an irate shake of his head, he tossed the thoughts out, but they soon returned again. A quick flash of light, and Hark saw himself give off a screech so loud, it caused some of the agents' ears to bleed, he saw himself fling the two armed men back with dynamic force into the wall with a simple flip of his wings. Another flash, and he saw himself drive that man's face into the ground. Another, and he saw the agent, petrified, staring up at him as he contemplated tearing him to shreds. Hark had never fought like that before in his life. All he usually did was thrash about, but what happened back at the complex to those agents was different. Much different.

He was less a person, he knew. More of an animal. A creature. A weapon.

STOP!!! Hark forced the thoughts out as he tipped his wings and sliced the air, slowly loosing altitude. He swerved to avoid crashing into a tree, and maneuvered through the terrace as swiftly as he could. Stretching out a hand, his claws caught on one of the trunks and raked off the bark as he latched himself on. Clawing his way up to the high branches, he perched himself on a limb and caught his breath. Below him was a clear view of the road, and he assured himself to easily be able to tell if someone were coming. Panting, Hark ripped off his shirt and threw it down to the ground. Until he could find a suitable change of clothes, the orange pants would have to do. Finding it now easier to breath, Hark folded his wings across his back and leaned himself against the trunk of his tree, keeping a semi-close eye on the deserted road below.

As the siren blared on the outside of the ambulance, the paramedics in the back of the ambulance began to examine the wounded HRT to find out just how badly he had been injured by the face-plant. He had his all of his head gear and some of his chest armor removed, and had an oxygen mask fitted over his nose and mouth. Although concerned for the potentially life-threatening injury, he turned his attention back to Carly. "Sorry about not letting you go in," he explained, "but that whole place could've gone up in flames in a second. Fortunately, your surgery shouldn't be too long, and you'll be able to help me interrogate the suspects and question the guys we got out of the cages, either at the hospital we're going to or back at the J. Edgar Hoover building, wherever we can get to first."

After a minute, one of the HRTs in the back broke the silence. "You think Pete's gonna make it?" he asked.

The paramedic checked the heart rate monitor screen, and then looked to him, "The odds are about 60/40 in his favor, in my opinion," he explained, "whatever threw him down was pretty powerful. His nose almost plowed into his brain, the force was so strong. At the very best, though, he probably just suffered a broken nose and a moderate concussion."

(OOC: I don't think they'd shoot at her if she started running away, not unless she started attacking them or something. They'd try to stop her, but not by shooting her. And that's OK. My computer had a virus, once, so I was in the same situation as you were. Just try to post a bit more often, but at the same time, we'll try to slow down a bit. ^^ )

[I'm just bumping this. ^^ I think it would be great to get this thing going again once Azeriel comes back from her trip.]

(Small bump, and yes, just want to wait a bit for Azeriel to come back to continue, since it's directed towards her to post.)

"Yep," replied Jordan, "you'll mostly be watching me and learning by example. I'm pretty sure we'll interrogate the hostages first, then, likely back at the J. Edgar Hoover building, we'll interrogate the suspects. You'll help out with questioning the hostages, but you'll be only observing for the suspects. From what I saw, they look pretty dedicated to keeping secrecy."

After a couple hours, the ambulance and the caravan of black vans arrived at the hospital in Portland, Maine, and immediately the paramedics wheeled Peter into the hospital on the stretcher, along with Agent Freeman from another ambulance. The rest of the HRT began filing into the building, along with some of the local police officers. Immediately, Jordan helped Carly out of the ambulance and began dealing out orders to the others.

"We'll need uniformed officers to cordon off a section of the hospital, get some HRT agents to guard each room we use, and get some plain-clothes officers to patrol the exterior. Altexicon might do anything to prevent any evidence of their wrongdoings from surfacing. We can't take any chances."

As the orders were complied with, other agents set up a command post in one of the vans, and HRTs began escorting the freed hostages into the hospital. It was at about that time when the media crews began to arrive.

Will and Genesis were escorted from the vans by the same men in black that took them out of the compound. They were surrounded by the men and could only walk in the direction the circle of men were walking. Apparently, they were there to protect the two from the many people who suddenly came towards them and tried to shove microphones in their faces, asking questions, things which the armored men quickly fended off, saying "This is a federal investigation, please step back."

After two reporters were shoved back by the armored men with the butts of their guns, the people with large cameras and microphones kept their distance. Will grasped Genesis' hand.

The rim along her green colored eyes were shone white as she looked at the sharp flashes of the cameras being shone to her face. She looked down, her head against Will's shoulder. A firm palm managed to push it's self between the barrier of men to get a strong grip on Genesis' tail. A sharp yelp receded from the depth of her throat as she looked back, her shoulders twisted back as she tried to lunge at the man, eyes hazed over in anger before being gutted back by the armored men. She eyed the man that was presumptuously pushed back as well. her tail recoiled along her hip as she held it away from the people, her eyes searching for sanctuary now.



Carly watched the men carry out the orders told out by Daniels before looking under his shoulder, getting a glimpse of the passing hostages. She wondered how they felt with loads of people rushing into their faces with the annoying cameras. She gasped sadly catching glance at the tailed human who seemed to snap at some one that had ticked her. She watched how the other reporters watched her, with wide eyes, before they began to mutter hushed words to each other. This was not good... this would lead to rumors. Giving a soft tug on Daniel's shoulder she looked up to him. "We need to quarantine the hostages away from any reporter, unauthorized eyes... they already started the female..we need to be quick.." Her soft blue orbs locked on his, adding seriousness to her words.
