Wolfbane finally sighed with relief after getting away and turned towards his mate with a kind look in his eyes. "What I've been meaning to talk to you about," he finally said, getting right to the point. "First of all, how do you feel about our children now that they're nearly out of their childhood phase?"

Nightwing sighed heavily and turned to her brother with a questionable look in her eyes. I just gotta know... "Slipstream," she began, a bit nervous to ask about it. "I've been hearing rumors about other dragon clans resding here. Do you know anything about that?" She really wanted to get to the bottom of this, and since her brother Iceheart and her sister Whitestorm won't be of any help right now, she figured she might as well get something from Slipstream instead.

Meanwhile, a black dragon began the rest of the trek down the mountain. Following behind him was a younger looking male, a white dragon, who seemed even more anxious than him. The elder dragon suddenly came to an abrupt stop and took a slight step back. I can smell another dragon near...

"What is it, Scar?" the younger male asked, feeling a bit nervous.

The black dragon took another sniff around before nodding to the white male. "I suggest you stay here, Dante," he finally replied. "There's something I have to investigate. It shouldn't be long." And with that, he disappeared into the trees, leaving the younger male all alone and feeling even more confused than before.

Wolfbane let out a slight chuckle before sighing heavily and looking out towards the open land. "I guess so..." He still had a lot to say. "But lately...the children...they seem to be going through their rebellious phase, don't you think?" He never was much of the rebel type in his childhood, but he did experience it a little during the war...and when he fell madly in love with Snowspirit. "Whitestorm and Nightwing especially," he added. "Those two females seem to be going through a whole lot..."

Nightwing smiled and nodded towards Slipstream. She then frowned again and turned away. I hope we can figure this out together...

Dante was just sitting in the midday sun when he felt something hit him in the gut. He fell over, but he quickly got back up to see a female white dragon. He bared his teeth in response, but he didn't growl. When he heard her questions about his identity, he loosened up a bit and sat back down, waering a more calm look on his face. "My name is Dante," he replied. "I am a loner, but I can assure you, if I were a spy, you'd be dead."

"Yeah, I remember that...but I don't want to. Anyways you're probably right, the smell of blood and rotting flesh is probably masking up all the scents around here. We should inform Wolfbane but I think we oughta tell the young ones first, who knows what they'll do in that short ammount of time.." Replied Freefall.

Mistclaw went up to Slipstream. "Me and Glacia are gonna go snoop around, wanna come?"

"You didn't have to put it that way!" Said Glacia, it was kinda like a harsh whisper.

Mistclaw rolled his eyes and ran off in the direction of the mountains. "They'll probably be there..if they exist." Muttered Mistclaw, noticing Glacia was following, she was close behind him.

Slipstream crept over to Mistclaw and Glacia. 'Hey Mist, is this your new girlfriend' he said, he couldn't help but tease his friend about things like that. He thought for a second, it seemed like a good idea, but he remembered why he had come. 'Uh, Mist, have you heard anything about new dragon clans, Nightwing is getting really worried over the rumors and I just want to settle her mind' he said. He took off after Mistclaw and Glacia, wondering what Mistclaw wanted to snoop around at.

'Oh but all children go through their rebellious stage, it is natural, I was rebellious and I'm sure you would have been if you hadn't had Thunderstorm as your dad' Snowspirit said. She sighed, she knew all about Whitestorm and Nightwing's little adventures as the older dragons called them. 'I know that they have both been upset about thee rumors of new clans, and that they are caught in the middle of becoming adults which is stressful for any dragon' she said.

'I think even if your a loner I would be dead' Whitestorm said, but stopped and re-thought her image to this stranger. 'But I could beat you with one paw tied behind my back' she said, holding her head up proudly. She was worried he would attack, but at the same time she didn't want to look weak. So in order to keep my head I will need to change my tactic a bit...oh I know, this should scare him a bit she thought, laughing to herself in her head at what she was about to do. She walked past Dante, and as much as she didn't want to do it, she ran her tail under his chin in a flirty way. God he is such an idiot, but any male would get scared by a flirty female she thought.

'Well let's head back then, if we don't get back soon it may be too late' Sunfire said, and started to speed walk back to the den site. 'What a way to ruin a walk though' she called over her shoulder to Freefall, and afterwards she smiled to herself.

Dante, however, was trained not to be phased by any tactics used by a female, however attractive they may be. "I'm sorry," he apologized in advance, "but silly little mind games won't phase me. You're just going to have to try a lot harder." He then turned to face the female with a more stern look. "I told you who I was, now you have to tell me. It's only fair...unless you don't play fair." At least he can maintain his knowledge while facing a female. Thank goodness I had Scar by my side after all these years...

Wolfbane sort smiled and nodded in agreement. "True..." But he then sighed as he came to a stop along the beach. "I've been thinking lately..." He had to get this off his chest, but at the same time, it got him even more worried than before. "I'm sure you've been hearing the rumors," he began again. "I've heard from the elders that there are these two new clans that might pose a threat to us. I'm sure the children know, but...have you heard anything?"

Meanwhile, Scar started sniffing around some more. He was about to head back when he came across a dead wolf...and the horrid smell of acid. "Well," he said to himself. "What do you know..." He crept closer to it, but he kept his distance, not wanting to get any poison within his system. "...There were other dragons here as well...but, they're not from the Light Clan or the Dark Clan. It looks like the stories were true..."

Dante sort of smiled, satisfied that this Whitestorm was willing to cooperate with him...for the time being. He laid himself down and sighed heavily, suddenly worried about his mentor. "I didn't come alone," he finally replied after a little white. "Well, I was here with my mentor, but he wanted to check something out and told me to stay here. I've been waiting for him the entire time, but now I wonder what's taking him so long." I hope he didn't get caught... "So," he added, changing the subject. "An heiress, huh? That must sound like fun..."

Wolfbane slightly hesitated at that question. "...I don't know what to think," he finally replied. "But it's best that we get to the bottom of this! It's best we talk to Freefall and Sunfire when we get back. We should investigate this matter further..."

Dante stood up and looked out towards the open sky. "It must be a tough life if you're limited," he finally replied. "Scar was the only family I had... I don't remember how I got into the forest in the first place. I was only two years old when it happened, so I never knew my father, mother, or any of my siblings...if I had any. But Scar...he was the son of the leader, but he had a sister who was better than him. She got more attention while he was suffering." He turned back to Whitestorm with a more serious look in his eyes. "I may not know too much about him myself, but we all suffer at one point in our lives. Nobody should be limited... But don't worry," he added after a moment's pause, "Scar wouldn't do anything to hurt another dragon. He wants to make peace with the dragons that live here. Ever since he heard about Thraklor-" He instantly cut himself off, not wanting to say too much.

At that moment, Scar stepped back into the clearing. "I took a look around, but all I found was a dead wolf filled with acid..." His voice trailed away as he turned his attention towards the unfamiliar female. "Dante? Whis is she?..."

"Don't worry," Dante replied, stepping up beside Whitestorm. "She's not an enemy. This is Whitestorm. Whitestorm...this is Scar, my mentor."

Wolfbane nodded with agreement. Then he sighed heavily and sat down beside her. "No matter what...I'm going to make sure that everything is going to be okay."
