Fata Frame D8 Now THAT is scary....I kept waisting my Films out of fear >_< In my opinion Fatal Frame 1 was the scariest out of 2 & 3 D88 They just love to surprise you...

I would have to say Dead Space. It isn't the blood or the gore that scares me it is the undertones that run through the game that scares me. Like the nut job Mercer killing people for Unitology. Plus the Marker is a freaky looking thing.

Silent Hill games. :[ SH3 specifically. It reinforced my fear of mirrors and mannequins. >_> I have a Final Fantasy mindset, so I have to check everywhere u_u I've yet to beat it. XD

Sh2 was fun, but there's only two parts that got to me. XD I haven't played the first one, though, or origins, or homecomming. :] I want to play Shattered Memories, though! It looks really freaky. :3

Well this one is more like Terrifying game i watched, as i watched a Let's Play on youtube which is someone playing a game and commentary. and i watched a series of one and i got to say about them cause they freak me out

clock tower 3 im still watching but is still kind of freaky but i got not much to comment on as im not far in watching

clock tower 2 i watched nearly all, but gave up cause it was boring. Why? Its RARELY scary.. i only get freaked out when you enter a room.. dark.. then you end up in a dark room with something shaking in the courner barely in light, that makes you go O.o and when the little girl trys to kill you is freaky cause she follows you and your devenceless.

clock tower 1 now this game was the first i watched and the most freakiest game i ever seen.. I can probably not mind watching it as its simple.. its on SNES so its all normal and walking around a mansion. Whats scary is the music, Its ALL quiet.. only your footsteps but when something happens (most likley scissor man) comes out the music gets all scar OUT of no where it makes you jump. And whats worst is you get al ittle picture of the charatcer to show how she is. and where the text is, its uauly just her staring of. showing how her health is by the background colour. but if the music plays and the scissorman comes out it ZOOMS in on her eye and it STAREs at you i never dare to look cause it just scares me .. And i think it be most scaiest SNES game i seen. and wont be playing

Yea, some of the noises in SH3 can freak you out like the metal scrapping together in the mall, pretty disturbing. I just remembered 2 oldschool games that freaked me out back in the day. DOOM 2 and the Splatterhouse games.

I used to think 'Halo' and 'Left 4 Dead 2' were scary games...Up until I bought 'The Suffering'. (XD I don't think Halo is scary now, I was young and easily-scared when I first played Halo. But now, Halo is my favourite game on Xbox). The Suffering is also for Xbox like all the other games I have lol, and it has some really freaky graphics. The blood and gore really scares me, as do those freaky zombie-like creatures that look like scarier versions of the Covenant (The Covenant are those aliens in Halo) and they could kill a normal un-armed human in three seconds flat if they wanted to (Don't make fun of me just because I'm scared of it, I'm only twelve >.>). The scary graphics are one of the main things that scare me. The blood on the ground and in the cells, the dead bodies of the prisoners, the dead bodies of the security guards that guard the prisoners, the freaky alien zombie things, the freaky weapons and blood-covered walls and tables...EVERY single graphic in that game just scares me or freaks me out in some way.

Another scary thing about that game is the music, you just can't make a game scary without freaky music. I guess the freaky music is sort of a good thing though, because it intensifies whenever those alien zombie things are around. And when you find the flashlight in the locker on the first level...I really HATE how this spooky whispering voice says 'We're going to get you, and we're going to kill you'....Man, I shouldn't have played that game with all the lights off . But that's just me, I get scared easily. I should've read the rating on the back...It said 'MA 15+' on the front, but when I bought it and looked on the back...It said 'MA 18+' no wonder I was scared! I played an 18+ game when I'm only 12. I guess that just proves how naive and stupid I can be. Anyways the music, like in all scary games, is freaking scary!

As soon as I found that flashlight and heard the voice whispering, I turned the game off straight away lol.

The Suffering ... I'm pretty sure i've played that before, at my brother's house. Started off in prison, then the guy's mind started messing up ... someone help me out here? xDD It freaked me out a bit nonetheless. :3

I've not had a chance to play a good scary game yet, since I don't own a PS3 or an XBox lol BUT, so far, the game that's freaked me out most is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. BUT only at certain scenes. Like The Sorrow's river, when all the ghosts of people you kill float past you, and he puts horrible images on your screen (NOTE: i was younger, and all alone...xD). I ended up turning it off, I was so spooked. xD
ALSO, The End. Gawd. the whole ... eye thing he had going on, and it really freaks me out when I can hear someone (talking AND shooting me), while being unable to see them. plus his breathing was just .... *shudder* xD

ah metal gear solid.. that was always fun.

Infact oyu reminded me Metal gear solid 4. i aint That scared.. but im truely CREEPED on the beauty fights. mainly raging raven beauty. Suure they are beautiful women (some would say..) But the way they follow you and chase you for a hug which can kill you. Sure they walk its always fun to mess about.. But when you run away they do a REALLY creepy run animation at you and it only makes me wanna run more cause its freaky o.o i ended up RPGing her butt.. its not that much but it is creepy.. but do that for 3 mins waiting and then your in a white room.. k.. alone with her. and she chases. thats abit creepy to. but just get ya ipod and put on oishii two-han Seikatsu and watch em dance! Dont believe me?

I recently played the Heavy Rain Demo for PS3. im totally buying this game.. but i played this at 3am when my friend was asleep and all the lights was off.. I already watched a video on youtube of it but i felt like playing to show him. 2 mins n he fell asleep. so i played and was so creeped out on the gameplay and surroundings o.o nothing scary even happened.. its just Creepy like that at night..

Yeah, it did start out in Prison. And his mind was pretty messed up.

It's very bloody, carnage screwed up big time, the first person shooter mode and 3rd are both messed up, but love the fact you can change from both first and third person anytime, Its also based on a true story, the prison your in is a real mentaly insain maximum security prison, they show footage of it in bonus content when you beat it, its been shut down because of the hell that happened there and to this day that is still in top ten most haunted places o earth, threw out the game there will be flashs of real demented expiriments that were really proformed there when it was in operation.

If you don't like games that mess with your head in a disturbing and horrific kind of way, I don't recomend it!

The most terrifying game i've ever played.... hmm.

Well, this is an easy one. The only game i've played that's really got me 'scared' is 'Doom 3'. That game was freaky. It was really realistic(at the time) and those who say this game wasn't scary at all clearly didn't play the game as it was intended. It says right out of the box 'to play this game as intended, turn your lights off and your sound up'
I was only ever able to play at most and hour at a time before i had to take a break to calm down. After awhile i got 'desinsitized' to the never-ending horde of zombies and hell monsters attacking and was even able to amuse myself with my own technique to fighting them. Normally when you see one of these things, the natural reaction is to back up and shoot 'em down before they get to you. Well, i said 'screw that' and pulled out the shotgun. Everytime i saw something attack, i got right in their face and blasted them right in the face.

Was usually an instant kill. Some of them would live through the first shot but not the second. Out of simple curiosity after beating 'Doom 3' i picked up the expansion pack 'Ressurection of Evil' This one was downright hilarious. No more shotgun. Double-barrel Shotgun now! This thing was so powerful and had such a loud boom to it when fired i couldn't stop laughing how funny it was when i'd kill a zombie. Basically a second after i saw one they would splatter instantly. I can recall playing it while my friend was watching and he too laughed himself silly at it.

But there was one thing about 'Doom 3' that i never got used to. Chainsaw Zombies. Those guys literally made me wet myself. I dunno what it is about chainsaws. After watching 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' and 'Hostle' they have always been something that scares me. Even just hearing the sound of them cranking up and cutting through trees (which i hear frequently where i live) sent chills down my spine.

The scariest? The part of Crysis inside the alien ridden anti-gravity mountain.

I think one of the scariest games I've ever played was Heavy Rain. At least some parts of it. I recommend not to play it in the dark and alone :'D The whole game creates a really dark atmosphere which can be really creepy sometimes.
