Lola and smiled at him when he saluted her. "Troy don't dot that. It's not me. I rather have you say my name which is Lola." She said walking up to him and making him lower his paw. Then she looked at the grave. "I am sorry about your mate. But I am sure that she is happy up in dog heaven." She said looking at him.

"She probably is happy but it doesn't make the pain lesson. It's my fault, my fault that she is dead. But it is my fault that the funeral is today when it should be a long way away for that dog that died yesterday. I could have stopped that guy and I should have stopped that guy but what happened back there yesterday reminded me of how my mate died to save me. I couldn't move I was helpless. And I failed my mission." Cody said to Lola sadly.

Lola just frowned at him. "Well you can have every chance. As long as you try your hardest that all that should count." She said to him. Then she looked at the other dogs. "Well it seems like everything will be okay. Remember there is always a silver lining." She said looking at him.

Kira then sighed heavily and just shook her head, turning back around to walk home, not even bothering to say good-bye to Josh or to anyone else. She was seriously very tramatized at the moment...

Meanwhile, Josh watched his friend go before breathing in slowly and exhaling. He then turned back to the others with and urge to go forward and comfort Harley. He wanted to go, but he just couldn't get the will to. He stood still, just staring at the graves for the entire time....

"The he'll go were all evil men go but remember this, Buster, like all dogs, has gone to Heaven." he said. He gave her a fatherly look. "I didn't mean to insult you by telling you not to be bitter...its just I did...and I regrated every moment of it." he said. "...You and Buster...were two of the best dogs on the force..." he said. "Losing Buster...was like losing a son...no matter how I act, I truely care for all of you." he said. "I consider each member of the force like they're my family...but I only considered Buster like a son...and you like a daughter." he said. "If you need anything, and I mean ANYTHING, just ask this old dog." he said. "I'll do my best to do it..."

"Don't worry kid, you'll get another partner, I know no one will replace Buster but you'll learn to love your new partner the same way." said Sarge. "The brotherly way, I mean." he said. "And I think someone could learn a whole lot from you." he said. "I trust you." he said.
