Roso stumbled failed to keep his balance and fell face down in the snow,He looked up at Marro "Sorry" he said at the exacxt same time.The young hybrid smiled slightly as he used the wall to haul himself up "Umm,So,Whats up?" he asked nervously.He wobbled slight;y on three legs and sihed as he steadied himself with his tail.

Koka, leaving Aniu and walking into town, noticed Marro and Roso. She walked up to them and noticed Roso covered in snow. "What happened to you?" She asked with a shy laugh. "Fall or something?" Looking up at Roso, she realized that she liked him. Even with only three paws. She turned to Marro. "And how are you?" She asked.

Covan smiled at Balto."Thank you,Balto.You're a good boy..."he smiled.They reached lake.Aniu was standing there.Covan quickly walked up to her."Here,I found Balto."he showed Balto to her."Now,I guess I should leave you alone then,right?"he looked at Aniu.

"Well," Aniu said, "Since Koka ditched us, maybe you should go on, too. But thanks so much for finding Balto for me." She turned to Balto. "Have you thought about it yet?"Balto snapped awake. "What?" He asked.Aniu looked at him. "My pack."Balto hung his head. "Sorry, but I've barely had time to think about anything else. I don't know if I can just leave. "I mean, Jenna, Roso, the rest of my kids. I don't know." He laid his ears back. Sometimes, even though Aniu was his mother, the wolf in her scared him a little bit. "Look," He said. "I have to go back now. I promise, this time, I'll really try to consider it. But I don't think it'll work." He turned and headed back into town.

DG switched directions and color, turning left instead of right and white instead of black. "Aniu!" she called, approaching the big white wolf with speed in her paws. "Aniu, I'm sorry, but, I saw the Phenox! Something's about to happen!" she cried, explaining what she just saw.

Roso,who had been spying on the whole thing, was so surprised he stumbled and fell down the embankment he was hiding on. He looked forwards to see his grandmothers feet "This is not my day" he muttered. 'no muse'

Aniu looked at Roso, who had tumbled down the embankment and now lay at her feet. "Well, Hello..." She started. "Roso." She turned and barked for Balto to come back. "DG was saying something about a 'Phenox'," She said. "Tell us more about this, DG." She said. "And Roso, I know you were 'spying' on us, but there are much more serious things going on right now. I think I'll let you be, just this once," She said with a smile.

"I don't know," DG rushed on. "I saw him!!! I think Esmeralda has a message for you, but I can't be sure! Rember, your best friend, Esmeralda! Before she was killed, of cource!" Dang! How do you forget these things! Esmeralda was her best friend, how do you forget?! She thought angerly. "Would you like me to find out?"

"Of course I remember Esmeralda!" Aniu barked. "My best friend. I just didn't know what you were talking about for a minute, being so concentrated on my son. So yeah, you can see what she has to say. I'll come with you." She followed DG into the forest, to wherever they were going.

DG suddenly felt shy. "Do you rember the day she died?" she asked. "I do. It was sad and Marro was heartbroken. But, do you think this appearance has something to do with the anneversery?"

Aniu sighed. "I don't like to remember it," She said. "I can't remember the exact day, but I know it was some time in the mid-20's of March. And, today is March 24th. It's the only reason I can think of that she would come to us." She turned to Balto, who had returned. "We'll talk later," She said to him. As Balto trotted off, she turned to DG. "So, where can we mmet her?" She asked.

Roso scrambled up, which was quite a feat for a dog with three legs on an Icy patch. He sighed with relief but decided he was going to follow Aniu and DG. He looked Back to see if Balto was watching him,He chuckled.Why was he worried about the hybrid who never payed him any attention watching him? he rolled his eyes and started to follow them.
