YES! Thankyou! It's a stanza! I can't believe I forgot that, Suka! Bwahahaha... .... (And thankyou too, sw. You both should give it a try, just make it up as you go along!)
Wolves
Wolves are such majestic creatures.
With an array of amazing features,
Wandering 'round the forest like a ghost.
With eyes so mystical, and heart so bold,
Beautiful, magical, sparkling coat.
Misunderstood, with a soul so cold...
Remember the wolf is part of the forest,
And look at moon,
Hear the song, the wolven chorus!
And be very sure that pretty soon,
You will hear the wolf chorus,
Cry at the moon!

Ok i have writin a happy poem but it didn't take long so it might not be really good so kep that in mind, the poem type is a haiku so it will look diffrent.
Happyness
a feeling
and of belonging
tobe loved tobe cherished
life has a meaning, pride
to complete the one's only destiny
feeling warm inside the deffenition is happyness.
ps the poem is called hapyness.

Pretty good. ^-^ Keep on working on it! ^.^
Look into my eyes,
And tell me what you see...
Look into my eyes,
And try to look down deep...
If you look into my eyes,
Looked into my soul,
You would notice,
That I am not so cold..
And soon the truth,
Would slowly unfold...
(That was just random...)
Have you ever had the feeling,
That lurking in the dark,
Was something very eery,
And something worse than a shark...
That someone was watching you,
Right beneath your bed.
That something was staring at you,
And getting ready to cut off your head?
Watch your back...
Look over your shoulder once or twice...
Make sure the noises,
Aren't just sneaky mice.
(That was pretty random, too!)

Another poem...With no title...Sorry, I'm really bad at titles...
When you are gone,
I will always remember you.
I'll try to be strong.
And when introuble I will think of you...
You'll stay in my heart,
Now and forever.
We will never be apart.
And that I'll remember...
And if I leave this earth,
A few days before you do,
Remember this first,
I will always remember you...
Even when I am gone...

Here's something I wrote, which there's two versions. The first one is basically the "rough draft."
Protector
by CLV
Big and strong
Yet so gentle
Not to cause any pain
Caring and protective
Love those who they respect
Hurt those who would hurt
Those they love
Big hands and claws
Gentle to the delicate skin
But deadly when used to protect
Against those that’ll do harm
Big and strong
The werewolf will use his strength
To protect those that’ll harm
Those they protect
Here's the second, which I had published in Labours of Love, a book of poems Noble House published.
Protector
by CLV
Big and strong
Yet gentle
Not to cause any pain
Towards those they care for
Caring and protective
Protect those who they love
Harm those who would hurt
Those they love
Powerful hands and claws
Gentle to the delicate skin
But deadly when used to protect
Those that are threatening
To harm those they care for
Big and strong
The werewolf will use their strength
To protect those that’ll harm
Those they love

Those are very nice, CLV!!
Hey, guess what unit we're starting in English today? Yep, POEMS!!! XD That means I'll be posting here often now. Our first asignment was to create a short verse poems with a rhyme scheme and with matching syllables on each verse. You wanna take a wild guess on what I wrote about?
Dragonkyn
There once was a powerful wizard master,
One of keen knowledge and skilled spell caster.
He told great tales of man and earth,
He told great tales of death and birth.
Yet one of these stories came so long before,
And that be the story of dragon folklore.
He told how the winged beasts used to roam free,
Until we humans just wouldn't leave them be.
So they flew from here; to a land far and wide,
A place where no human comes to their side.
Until a day came, when a human mind,
A single small dracling was left behind.
Hungry and freezing as its body shivered,
The flame from its breath hath long since quivered.
The human took pity, and nursed it to health,
And turned down offers of unfathomed wealth.
When alas the day came for the dracling to leave,
And fly to the land in which no human'd hath believe.
For the day would come when the dragon, now grown,
To offer a thanks for the care it was shown.
And welcome the comming of all dragonkyn,
Now all we must do is just wait for it's sign..
-------------------------
Pathetic, really. But I'll soon get the hang of this soon enough.

Are you on the stuff?! That poem is so...so...beautiful! I like how you made it rhyme the way you did! ^.^
Oh, what a coinsedence, we're also starting a poetry unit in Language arts! (We still call it language) And we have to do Concrete Poems for homework...It's pretty interesting... We gotta make it the words in the shape of whatever the poem is about...

That was nothing, really. But now, we have this really big assignment. We have to make ONE POEM EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!!! Can you believe that?! Holy fewmets, I'm going to write an entire book!! She told us to keep them in a binder, and name the binder with a something in which all your poems have in common. I called mine "A Dragon a Day". XD It's worth, like, a bajillion points in the end!! In have absolutely no clue how I'm going to pull this off!! 350 poems...and all must have to do with dragons!! *wails*

Whoa...I wish we could do that! I really love to make poems, but on what I want to make them about... Dang, if I had that class I'd probally name my binder, "Varieties". So I could do all different subjects for poems...

I can't wait to see one of your poems, if you post any. Well, here's one...
Listen to the sound...
Have you ever stopped rushing around?
And stopped everything you were doing,
Just to listen to the sounds?
Or just to hear ravens crooing?
Ever stopped to open up your eyes?
To the world that surrounds?
Ever seen the evening skys?
Or the largest mound?
These, my friend, are things we miss...
Because we are too busy,
To look around and see the bliss,
And stop having a tizzy...
That, was ofcourse, almost effortless... "not very good..."

Actually, that was kinda fun!! I could just keep reading it to myself all day long!!
Well, here's number 2 of 350. I wanted to mimic the writing style of Jane Yolen, my favorite author. So this is more of a little experiment. There are so many metaphors in here. See if you can recognise what each part of the "boat" represents!!
Sail Boat
The Ship sets off upon the Sea,
Through Waters calm and Waters free.
The journey travelled carefully,
Manned only by feeling and wits.
The Sails are built with strength all through,
The Mast and Watch to see things true.
And navigate the terrain blue,
Through night and day, it never quits.
The mighty Stern sits out in back,
The Hull records its moving Track.
The destination outlined black,
And where the waiting family...sits.

WOW! ^.^ I just now noticed that each ending of each stanza rhymed... And, I am clueless as to what the parts of the "boat" represent... Herm... Well, while I'm thinking, I'm gonna make up another poem... (thanks, btw) ^,^
Many a wolven howling,
A countless number of birds singing.
School children scowling.
The rythm of the earth is what these all are,
As the wind whistles, in the trees.
With the wind sounds are carried far...
(it's really short, but oh well... ) Next poem... ( I got this idea from a story)
Little Wolf
Little wolf, little wolf.
With teeth so sharp,
I can see you,
In the dark!
Little wolf, Little wolf,
With eyes so dark,
I can hear you,
When you make your mark!
Little wolf, little wolf,
With soul so bold,
I see your breath,
In the cold!
Little wolf, Little wolf,
With that angry growl,
I always listen,
To hear you howl!
Little wolf, little wolf,
Please come out!
Please don't make me,
have to shout!
