Re-united *Private RP: WWM and Lone*

Sainiu had herself behind Tam. She hadn't been looking anywhere but her paws. She was listening to what the others where saying, guessing that it was most likely Ember that Kat had heard, and if she was following the scent she would run into Embers pack, wich.. would not be good. Sainiu perked when someone start paying attention to her. Sai looked over to look at Cerebus, watching him and smiling softly, she decided to stay quiet though.

Cerebus growled under his breath.

Kitling turned to look at the tall brown creature as well. She practically mirrored Tam's build, right down to the sabers pertuding from his upper jaw. Kit's eyes grew gentle. "...Patience, Cerebus..." he quietly reminded, in a very low-frequency voice.

"My sister," Tam explained curtly, quietly embarrased at his sister's silence. Of course, she always was the odd one...

"What, does she have a speech impediment?" A high snicker echoed through the corridor. Viola, perched on an overlooking rock, sneered down at the small group.

Cerebus remained quiet, but flattened his ears as Kitling and Tam turned to glare at the only female vampire-wolf of their eliet group.

Sai perked and looked over to the new wolf coming towards them. She shookher head slightly "N-no, I can talk.." she said, standing up quickly. She flicked her tail and lowered her head, switching her veiw from Tam to Viola.

"Oh...slow to respond then...?" Viola persisted, bounding down from the ledge and padding towards Sainiu. She laughed to herself.

Tam growled, but otherwise did not speak. Though he would have loved to, it was not his place to repremand a higher-ranking member.

By now she had reached the group, all glaring intensly at her except for Sainiu, who was quiet. "It's ok sweetie. Not everyone is smart," She looked at her with her big gold eyes and batted them innocently.

Kit bared his fangs. "Don't you have a territory to scope?" His relative disposition told Viola it was time for her to scram. She lowered her head and jogged out of the cave to finish Tam and Kit's job, muttering to herself.

Sainiu looked over her shoulder, letting her tounge roll out of her mouth. She made a soft humming sound-wich she did when she was nervous. She looked to Kit, sighing lightly "You.. We... uhm.." she cleared her troat and looked down at the ground "I think the girl from.. earlier, might hae been chasing a pack member who my my pack fights with.. they are quite.. strong" she said, almost whispering at the end.

Tam's eyes turned into slits. "...How strong...?"

Kit flicked his head over once he detected her faint whispers. He seemed both eager and hessiant to pry further.

"Strong enough to kill half a pack, that is bigger then their's" she mumbled, looing to Tam, laying her ears back. "That is what I have been told.."

Ember had made her way back to her pack, looking behind her and sighed "Think I lost it..." She walked into a den, and sat at the entrance. "Angel.." she began "I was tracking.. Sainiu, but she met up with some tohers.. and I think one might of followed me.." she said looking behind her, looking back nto the darkness of the den when she heard a dark laugh.

Kit appearred to be startled. "That's quite a reputation they've got there," He turned to exchange a look with Tam. "Have you ever met them before?"

In Tam's mind, he had wandered over to his parents. Sainiu must have stayed with them. He had a large family, but most of his siblings had left ages ago. If there were still any siblings left, it would not be enough to ward off these intruders. Their only chance would be to join a larger pack...had they already? Tam silently gulped. "Do you know their numbers?"

Katmai slunk low in the grass, downwind from the strange, apparently hostile, orange wolf standing a ways ahead of her. She was well hidden from veiw, and her dark coat practiacally pulling her into the landscape. She surveyed the scene; a large den in a shady patch of earth. Where had the orange wolf gone? just then she heard the remnants of a chilling laugh that echoed faintly through the den.

Sainiu shifted around a bit "Uhm, well our parents.. when they were in the old pack fought against them.. thats all I've heard, but every time anyone has talked about them.. its always warnings, and how they are dangerous.." She stoped talking, looking over her shoulder again.

Slowly, a white wolf appeared from the den, a large tuff of hair covering the left side of her face. She flicked her tail softly, grinning wildly "Ember... what happened to you're.." she stoped sniffing the air roughly "Follower..." she sai, looking around from side to side.

Ember shrugged calmly "I don't know.. I lost her scent awhile ago.. when I started heading against the wind.. she said, looking around, closing her eyes softly.

Tam noted her uneasiness, and it rubbed off on him. He glanced around uneasily, and rested his gaze finally on Kit, whose jaw had been set firmly, but remained silent. Tam hated staring into his eyes whenhe was like this...they were so cold. Hard. Intense. He shivered unvoluntarily.

Cerebus padded softly out of the cave, his large black and blue body glowing in the midmorning sky. His shadow had almost dissapeared beneath him completely.

Kit rose and whisked after him, his head lowered, ears laid flat, and body tense. He made no effort to speed up after Cerebus. He was lost in his thoughts, and his fears, and walked along with a hidden sense of hostility.

They had not further questioned Sainiu. Why? Did Kit know these intruders? Did he not? He just bolted off...Tam was incredibly uneasy pondering this, and the thought of anything happening to Katmai immediatly numbed his body and his mind, making it impossible to think anymore.Tam gave Sainiu a look full of trepedation, then gulped. "Let's go." His voice faltered, and he started trotting quickly, feuled by fear and embarresment. He didn't wait for Sainiu; he knew she would come.

Katmai flattened herself against the ground. She did not want to be seen. Yet. Aggression was welling up inside of her, but she tried to keep it in check. The element of surprise uld be her ticket to their downfall...at least, she hoped.

Sai followed quickly behind the others, not paying attention she went up enough so she was right behind Cerebus. She gasped softly when she bumped into the dark wolf. Sai backed up a few steps "Sorry.."

Angel glared around, and troted around in a few circles, when she stoped her head twitched quickly to the side "Lead me to where you saw Sainiu.."

Ember nodded and started to walk, where she came from.

Cerebus continued his fast-paced trot. "...S'alright..." Truth be told, he wasn't paying much attention to anyone--or anything. He had heard rumors long ago of strong beings about the land. He wasn't sure of their likability, but he wasn't too keen on leting an oportunity to find out slip by. A threat was a threat. He had promised to protect his pack when he had formed it, and had happily encouraged his friend to take the reins as leader. That pact still stood, even if Cerebus himself had changed...

Behind Sainiu and Cereus, Kit was still storming towards the area they had last seen Katmai. Her scent was becoming clearer, but there was still distance between it and them.

"Not much further..." Tam remarked, bringing the rear apart from the white malamute who also followed. His name was Whte Demon(given by the doggie-pet breeders), and he was a quiet, devious fellow. He and Viola always bickered. You never would have guessed they were mates. Tam was surprised to turn around and see him trotting along with them, as he was exceptionally lazy. The more the merrier..., he thought bitterly, but otherwise ignored him.

Sainiu lowered her head, narrowing her eyes, looking to the sides of the path they had been taking. She kept her eye mostly on Kit, and Cerebus, since they seemed to be the.. leaders of the pack. She closed her eyes, trying to picture Akuji and Cyrus walking before her, as she was used to her parents protection.

"Sainiu," Kit paused, waiting for her to aknowledge him, "how large did you say your pack was...?" Several smells began flodding his nose, all of which were related to both Tam and Sainiu, but were each unique. What is going on here?? Tam's whole family??

Sai jumped lightly, and smiled lightly. "Uhm.. Well, they have their leader, the second incharge.. and the wariors, I would say around 7 or so.. mom and dad said they were less then a norml wolf pack..-" she stoped herself from talking when comforting scents came to her. She grinned sofly and trotted ahead, forgetting she waseven talking to Kit.
