"No I bit you and now you have to belong with me"! the vamp yelled an kept his eye on Rick.
"Grr I don think so ugly! Shay is my girl and if you want er ya have ta go go through me"! Rick leaped at the vamps throught.

Rick was through playing, he grabbed the vamp and through him out the window. "This isnt over"! he yelled as he fell.

"Shay!" Rick ran to her side, "Oh no... hang on girl, ill get help" Rick lifted her in his furry arms and headed for his grandfathers ranch, Rick knew his granpa kept a werewolf an vampire book burried in the old stables.

"Don worry Shay, ill protect you, always." he finaly reached the stables, he set her down and dug through the hey. "AH HA!" he pulled out the book and returned to Shay.

Rick held her with one arm an read the book with the other. "Crud! NO!" he growled and hugged Shay verrrrrrry tight.

Rick burst into tears, for the first time in his life he was scared to death.
"Shay you ha..have to le..leave me". his voice was shaky.

"Shay theyll kill you...." he sobed and sobed and wished so bad to rather be dead then have Shay hurt.

Rick took a deep breath and choked out an answer."Werewolves...all my life my grandpa told me stories of how our family had the curse, he said one day a monster would come for one of us.....we thought he was nuts but now i belive him. I supose it was a rule about tribes or somthing that werewolves and vampires are mortal enimies, if were wolves don get you then vampires will get me".

Rick hugged her close and thought of where he could go. "Shay do you have a friend who can give you a place to stay? I'll take you there before I go if youd like."
