"That's way we'll never convince her to come with us," Garret said to Brynn. "She's already decided. We all that we can't change her mind once it's already set on something."

Cassie sighed. "I guess you're right," she said reluctnatly.

"I'm, uh, gonna go get us some clothes for tomorrow," Garret said, feeling the unhappiness settle into the group already. "You all get some sleep." He escaped the now smaller pack and padded to the city.

"Fine," Luna said, her temper coming back to her. "Just don't slow me down." She ran in the opposite direction of the pack, traveling deeper into the woods.

Dev nodded slowly, biting back a harsh response, he wondered if he'd ever be able to get Luna to re-join the pack. Would he ever see Brynn again? or was this it? Dev shook his head, trying to clear his troubled thoughts and ran after Luna, angry at himself because he was never like this.

"We're loosing two great memebers of this pack Garret! and all you can do is walk away!" Brynn said coldly "you won't even try to get them back..." he said, lowering his voice, knowing that they would be in trouble without Dev and Luna. He glanced at Haydn and Cassie "i'm going after them..." he said as soon as Garret was far out of earshot. "Who wants to come?"

Haydn's mouth dropped open. Was he serious? Luna and Dev were probably long gone now! She wanted them back as much as Dev did but was she willing to chase after something that might now even come back? She glanced at Cassie, unsure.

Cassie blinked at Brynn in shock. "What are you talking about? We can't do that! That would be like abandoning Garret." She paused as she mulled this over. "But he will be gone for awhile," she thought aloud. "And maybe without him to tell Luna and Dev they have to leave they will be more open to coming back with us." She thought this over. "Alright, lets go fnd them," she said defeatedly.

It didn't Luna long to slow down to a stop. She sighed. "Where are we supposed to go now?" she asked Dev. "The forest isn't big enough for us to hid in. We'll have to move on and find another one. One more suitable for werewolves like us."

Garret stuck to the shadows of the town even thought it was the middle of the night. There was the rare car that flew by, but no body noticed the large brown wolf. He finally found wait looked like a Good Will. There were large hampers just filled with clothes. And there were even boxes of shoes. Garret grabbed on the boxes in his mouth and dropped it into one of the hampers. He help on to a rope attatched the hamper for tranportation and dragged it on it's wheels back out of town. When he reached grass again, he looked up at the hill he would have to drag the hamper up to. Instead, he decided to leave the clothes here and get the others to pick out there clothes and return the hamper before anyone missed it.

Haydn sighed with relief at Brynn's words. She wanted to go after them too but she wouldn't stand a chance against Dev and Luna all by herself, plus she thought that no one would listen to her if she spoke up. "Should I stay here and wait for Garret?" Haydn asked, she didn't want him to feel like he'd been abandonded, he could be back minutes or hours from now and they would never know. "It would be best to tell Garret whats going on, but you guys would have a big enough headstart for him to not want to go after you..."

Brynn nodded at Haydn. "That sounds like a good idea...Garret's gonna be furious! I don't understand how he could have just let Dev and Luna go like that! I know Dev's and idiot but I didn't think that Garret had anything against him..." Brynn thought outloud, then he turned to Cassie. "What do you think? Are you okay with going with me by yourself?"

Dev swallowed at the thought of leaving entirely but gave Luna his honest answer. "This forest is deffinatly to small, and plus this will probably one of the first places Fletch will look when he wakes up...but that won't be for awhile. And it's getting dark out. Why don't we camp here for the night, then start first thing in the morning?" Dev suggested, feeling the events of the day start to tire him out.

"That's fine with me," Cassie said, already searching the forest with her eyes. "But lets hurry up and get this over with. A pack isn't strong unless they're together. I don't like this splitting up again," she admitted. "But we have to find Luna and Dev before they get too far."

Garret looked around one last time to make sure no one had seen him and turned around to walk up the hill.

Luna sighed in defeat. "Yeah, I guess you're right," she finally said. "But we're leaving as soon as I wake up, whether you're ready to leave or not."

Haydn settled down on the ground, ready to wait for Garret. "Good luck guys! and hurry back...Garret could be back anytime now!" Haydn said, fear coating her voice, she didn't want anyone to get hurt.

"Don't worry we will..and if I know Dev like I do he's probably tierd, they must have stopped by now..." Brynn said and tunred to Cassie. "Ready?" he asked and began running into the woods, following Dev and Luna's familiar scent. "We should find them soon, its really easy to track them like this!" Brynn said, hoping that he would be right.

"Okay..." Dev said and settled down next to Luna, curling up into a nice comfortable ball. He scooted as close as he could to Luna and flashed her a flirtatious smile before he closed his eyes.

Garret trotted up the hill and come to the clearing a few minutes after Brynn and Cassie left. He eyes Haydn suspiciously. "Alright, Haydn, where'd they go?" he asked sternly with a frown.

Cassie nodded to Brynn and ran after him into the woods. "I just hope we find them before Garret catches up to us. I doubt he'll be to happy that we're going against his orders."

Luna shook her head and rolled her eyes at Dev, but she waited for him to put his head down before smiling a tiny bit. She laid her head on her paws and tried to get to sleep as quickly as she could as not to let her mind wander.

"I'm sure Haydn won't let him follow us..but we gotta hurry!" Brynn whispered as he bounded through the woods, in hot pursuit of his brother and friend. He could tell that they were getting closer, the scent got stronger, and he skidded silently to a halt just before the clearing that Luna and Dev were resting in. Brynn waited for Cassie then whispered nervously "you ready for this?"

Dev had just fallen asleep and was already dreaming, he felt Luna at his side which helped him sleep more soundly.

"Umm..." Haydn paused and sat up "they said that they were going to find water and I think they mentioned something about hunting too..." she lied smoothly, hoping Garret wouldn't catch up on it. "I offered to stay here...in case you came back!" she said and offered him a cute smile.

Cassie took a deep breath. "As ready as I'm going to be," she said nervously.

Luna couldn't fall into a deep sleep, and when she heard the snap of a twig she was up and growling. "Who's there? Show yourselves!" she snarled.

Garret eyed Haydn, but he thought that it was reasonable. "If they're going hunting we should catch up to them and help," he said, starting off toward the direction of Cassie and Brynn's scents.

Dev was up seconds after Luna was, fur prickling in anger as he took a small step forward. When the wind changed he caught the familiar scent, he titled his head to the side, confused.

"Don't worry..." Brynn said calmly as he stepped out from behind the bushes and into the clearing. "We just want to talk..." he said as he motioned for Cassie to come out behind him. He glanced between the two, showing no signs of aggression.

"Um no Garret! wait!" Haydn protested as she stood up, her brain worked quickly, trying to figure out what to say to Garret. "Um...where are the clothes?" she asked innocently.

Cassie slowly walked out behind Brynn and stood next to him. "We, um, want you to come back," she said unsurely. "You're still a part of this pack."

"I don't think I'd be welcomed by your fearless leader," Luna retorted. "And I've already given Dev the chance to go back without me. That offer is still open." She gave a sideways glance.

"They're at the bottom of the hill," Garret said, motioning with his muzzle. "It's a hamper from Good Will. We can just take what we need and return the rest."

Dev dipped his head at Brynn, avoiding his brothers gaze as he let the fur on his back lay flat. Then he glanced at Luna, he didn't want to leave her but he wanted to return to the pack

"Garret doesn't want you guys to leave either! He said things back there he didn't mean. He doesn't know how much he lost when you guys left...and he lost alot!" Brynn said, taking a small step closer to the two.

"Down that hill?" Haydn asked, sounding confused. "Can you show me?" she asked, a shy tone in her voice as she sat down again and scrunched her shoulders up slightly, looking cute without meaning to.

"If Garret wants us back so badly, why didn't he come with you?" Luna challenged.

"Because he's out risking his life in a city that probably does not welcome wolves of any size trying to find us clothes for our human forms," Cassie argued back. She didn't want lying to Garret to by in vain.

"Uh, sure," Garret said confused but taken by Haydn. He walked down the hill toward the hamper.

Brynn nodded "Cassie pretty much said it! He's risking his life to help us, that includes you two. Was being with us really that bad that you want to run away and never see us again?" Brynn asked, narrowing his eyes slightly, a thing he always did when he was hurt.

Dev lowered his head, glancing at Luna out of the corner of his eye. It was her desicion. But would she make the right one?

Haydn breathed a sigh of reliefe and caught up to Garret, so she trotted at his side. "Thank you for doing this by the way...we wouldn't be here without you and now your risking your life to help us..." Haydn swallowed hard, her voice dropped with every word. She wanted to tell Garret how she felt about him but she kept her mouth shut.

Luna looked away, trying not to give in. She finally sighed in defeat. "Fine. If you really want us back that badly. I'll give you one more chance to get rid of me for good."

"Well, we're not gonna take it," Cassie said with a huge grin on her face. "I guess you'll just have to deal with being stuck with us forever."

"Yes, well, if learned to deal with all of you for this long. What's a few more years?" Luna teased, but with hardly a smile at all.

"I would't call it risking my life exactly," Garret said as he led Haydn down the hill. "Anyone could have snuck into a town at night and highjacked an ungaurded hamper. It was just the matter of who was going to do it is all." He gave Haydn a modest smile.
