Growlithe barked loudly, being the competitive creature that he was, began to chase after the female, edging slightly ahead of her and panted happily as he ran up the stairs.

Finally reaching the top, Danny panted and laughed loudly as he saw Michael trugging behind. "Come on Michael, you got to keep up!" He teased playfully and slowly punched in the code for the door, it opened slowly and he walked into Lucario's room, smiling warmly as he saw the caged Pokemon. "Hey buddy!"

Riley, the Lucario, once more excited that his friend Danny was three to give him ateention, he was one of the few that ctully cared for him in a nice way. Riley did a little nuzzle to his 'owner' and smiled happily, squishing his fur aginst the bars to the cage trying to ger cloer and closer to Danny.

Dawn looked at Ash. "Hmm? Yea, i'm ready." She said, looking at the landscape of gras, and beautiful colorful town that they were in.

Torterra looked up at Teddiursa. He smiled at the small pokemon, knowing how badly it must've been abused.

The female Growlithe tied with Danny's Growlithe. She barked, saying 'good race'.

"Did you hear? Last night someone broke into the lab and freed a pokemon, a Rattata I think." said Micheal, though no one knew it, it had been Micheal himself. "They didn't steal it, just set it free." he said. "Giovanni's furious."

Ash nodded as Brock came up. "Alright, let go." he said. "Should we take a bus or something to get there faster?"

Danny's eyes softened gently and smiled, running a paw down the other's cheek, his heart aching as he saw Lucario desperate to get closer. He hated seeing the other like this and he wanted to help him, but he just couldn't bring himself to betray the only family he really had. Blinking, he looked up at Michael's comment in suprise. "Really? Wow, I can't believe it....you think Giovanni's going to retaliate?" He asked as he stroked Lucario's ear.


Growlithe "'hmphed" slightly, clearly being more of a loner than the others and stuck it's nose up slightly to the female, causing Bublasaur to hit Growlithe with one of it's vines.


Teddiursa giggled happily and nuzzled his "fathers" face cheerfully and looked down at him with wide eyes.


"Best idea is to wait for the Bus that goes through Viridan Forest, then we can at least get some headway" murmured Brock, looking off into the distance to see large blue bus coming closer. "Perfect Timing!"

The young Lucario just sighed, his fur getting matted as it went aginst the silver metal bars of the cage he was put in harshhly. He looked at Danny wiht big sad eyes and took onr more deep breath. He opened his mouth and one word came out, in a normal languege, that not many pokemon could do. "Danny." He said slowly, and abcked away from the bars of the cage. He kept his big sad eye on Danny, not letting them off of him.

Riley, the young Lucario who felt cooped on the cage, badly wished that someone would let him free from this horried place that he had no choice but to call home. The leganry creature sat in the corner of his cage, looking down at his fett in sorrow. He needed to be wild and free.

Dawn smiled as she saw the bus coming twords them, stopping in front of the poke centar for anything people that needed to get soem where from there.

Dawn looked at Ash and Brock and started to walk twords the blue colored bus, and once she got to it, the door opened and she stepped on it, looking back one more to make sure her two friends were following her. She then conitnued to walk onto the bus.

Swellow went up to the cage. "Swellow." she said, basically saying 'I'm sorry this has happened. I wish we could help but we can't.'

Micheal sighed. "A wonderful pokemon like this doesn't deserve this." he said. "Lucario are a majestic species, they don't deserve to be locked up." he said. "I wish whoever saved that Rattata had rescued Riley." he said, wanting to see his friends reaction, so he'd know if he should free the Lucario next time he came to set a pokemon free.

Ash jumpped on the bus, Pikachu on his shoulder.

Brock looked back at Jenny and Joy, unable to contain himself. "Don't worry my darelings, I will be back to see you ag-" he said, right before being Poison Jabbed by Croagunk. "Or maybe not." he said as he collasped to the ground and was dragged onto the bus by his pokemon.

Riley just sniffed soundly, and shifted his sad eyes over to Micheal, who said something hte the Lucario liked very much- to be freeed from this dreaded place.

Though Riley knew it was Micheal who set the Rattata free out of this horribale dark and almost haunting place. He was tried of beeing expiremented on, and just used for research- in an dark and evil way. He just sigghed quietly and unhappily as he trhough about the days wehn he was free- which were always in his dream. He never was a wild Lucario.

Dawn sat down on a seat on the bus, and looked out the window beside her, at the world around her from which she wandered. She smiled as she remembered the day she got Piplup.

Dawn continued to look at the landscape of people and there pokeon, benchs and other stuff that went oon continues fror miles around the world. She than shifted ehr eyes from the window to the sile of the bus as Borck was dragged on from Crogunk.

Danny's eyes widened as Riley began to talk, his eyes softening as he closed his eyes, a tear running down his face, unable to stop a few more tears to roll down his face. "Riley...you know if I could...I'd free you but....I can't....Team Rocket saved me and raised me...I can't just...." He trailed off, the tears running down his cheeks freely now, torn between his love and desire for Riley's freedom and his loyalty to the closest thing he had to a family.


His Pokémon looked at him with sad eyes and lowered their heads slightly, knowing their young trainer wanted nothing more than to free Riley, but it would be minutes after his escape that Giovanni would find out and have everyone out looking for Riley.


The bus took only an hour or so to get there, it would be early morning when they would arrive, Ash's mother was out front sweeping the pathway along with Mister Mime, though her expression looked rather tired and upset, not to mention she looked just a little pale.

Dawn sighed lightly as the bus came to a stop so quickly than she expected, but got up clmly and strted to step dwon the three steps of the bus, than taking a land on the ground as her feet stepped on the grass lndscape. She saw a small house sitting in the grssy place amung the great world of pokemon. She continued to walk after Ash, and with his few words, she found out that this is where his mother lived.

She followed after him, running bit. When she caught up, which didnt tke to long, she asked him, "When was the lst time you were here?" She asked curiously.

Riley didnt like to see Danny feeling sd, let alone crying in front of him. His smll smile turned to frown, s he felt the sorrow for the poor kid. If he wasn't so 'emotionless' like he was, he would probably feeling the sorrow better nd crying with him as well, with his 'best friend', or his 'trainer'.

When Micheal strarted talking to Danny, his ears twithed slightly, as he herd Micheal's soothing words. He wisghed tht everything he said ws going to hpppen nd be true with in his life, but with Danny's trance to ever leave, he would neevr be the pokemin hge should be.
