"ok ready...set...moon" Taka laughed as the other two gave a start "only joking GO!" they raced down,unfortunately Taka over shot and landed in the river "ok,that wasn't planned" he yelled.

Balto ran to the river and jumped in as if he wanted to take a swim.
Whisper did the same thing only she dunked Taka in the water.

Taka spluttered as his head came out of the water he quickly turned round and dunked whisper as Ebony came into the clearing
"Dont drown whisper,Tak" he sai.d smiling as he sat down on the opposite banks from the pups

Whisper got off of Taka and laughed. For once in a while she was having fun.
Balto laughed as he got dunked by his older brother and sister.

Ebonys ears pricked up as an ear splitting howl came from through the trees danger signal he thought "right you three up to the den now!2 he snapped

Balto shot up out of the water noticing the howl and ran for his life to the den.
Whisper didn't noticed Balto gone but she got out of the water also and ran to the den with Taka.
Aniu heard the howl and ran to Ebony, " What is it Eb?" She asked prepared to fight off what had stepped into her territory.

Taka tumbled into the den skidding to a halt "what was that about?!" he asked

"No. It's too dangerous to fight alone. You need me to help. Let's recruit the pack and fight them." She said and ran with Ebony to gather the pack but leave a few behind unless they killed the pups.

Ebony lay waiting for a wolf to come down the open track,but heonly saw a small dog, he went out to see it when BANG he yelped as the bullet hit his leg sending him tumbling backwards as the wolves started to scatter.
Taka sat next to Balto and whisper waiting for some news, for any news of his brother or parents "d'ya thinkthey'll be ok" he whispered.

"Well, we have to get them out. Remember the pups in the pack. They need to be protected. Some will have to make sacrifices." She snarled at the people. She shot a glance at the wolves then back at the dogs. She shot another glance at some other wolves and then the humans. She then shot another to Ebony and then back to the packs place. The pack knew what to do now. They then attacked.

Ebony pulled himself up onthree legs, struggling to stand, when he started to limp away he was pounced on by another young dog, ebony shot his head round and snapped the dogs leg.He then managed to get just into the forest where he collapsed in excriutiating pain from his leg and shoulder.
