Emmy just laughed as she hugged the adorable raccoon. "Why, you're welcome, Rita," she replied. "Any time!" She then got back up and started washing everything off while she watched the animals play fairly carelessly...

Hikaru nodded. "I agree," he replied. "But I sure do miss Kassie... I wonder if she's okay."

Smudge shurgged once more. "We'll probably neevr know." She said. "But osmetimes, in ym dreams, I ahve visions of Emmy seeing her again.

Rita msiled, and sighed as she was suddenly picked up by Emmy.

Lance saw a car pull up and Jarret get out. "There's her father, big jerk."

Jarret walked up to his daughter. "Hello Emmy." he said with a fake smile. "So I guess this place is your's now?" he asked and pulled out a checkbook. "How much will it cost me to buy it from you?" he asked.

Rita saw Jarret approch her and Emmy. She did a hissing sound and bounced off Emmy's lap. She ran voer to the group of animals. "Guys! Her dad is trying to buy our home from her!" She said franticly.

Hikaru just snorted. "I guess that's our cue to leave," he said with a cold stare towards Jarret. "Come on guys, let's go!" And with that, he turned his back and started on trudging back towards the forest area.

Emmy just gave a huff and saw Rita off before turning back to her 'father' with a cold, hard stare. "Sorry, but this place is not for sale!" she said, going back to cleaning up the washer sink. "As you know, this place was my mother's pride and joy, and since you'ce never appreciated it, I cannot allow to set foot here. Now get out of here before I have to call security!"

Loner chuckled. "Don't worry, Streek has it handled."

Streek hissed, pawed the ground, and raised his tail, threating Jarret.

Jarret took a step back from the skunk. "Call your skunk off!" he demanded.

Rita, Whisper, Howl, and Lucky all fleed.

Smudge glared ast Jarret and started [rancing twors the place where the 2 humans were. She came up behind 4 feet behind Jarret. She snarled, her tooth showing.

Hikaru just smirked and bounded off along withe the others. 'Good luck, Streek,' he thought. 'You'll be needing it...'

Emmy just crossed her arms looking stubborn. "Not unless you back off first and get the h*** away from this preserve! I'm not selling it and I never will!" She then nodded at Streek. "Sick 'im, boy. Nice and nasty..." Then she smirked as she watched the action unfold. "Oh, and Smudge," she quickly added, "be my guest."

Smudge suddenly looked nice. She pranced up to Emmy, then in front of Jarret. She barked once, then umped up on him, knocking him down. She stood on top of him, then bounced of so STreak could do his ob.

Streek smiled and sprayed Jarret in the face but as Smudge was behind him, some got on her as well. Jarret went running to his car, gaging and holding his nose, quickly driving off. "Sorry Smudge." he said. He looked at Emmy. "That was fun though." he said as the air filled with the horrid odor of skunk spray.

Emmy sort of smiled and waved good-bye to her father before turning back to the animals. "Well, that certainly was enjoyable," she said, walking back out to the forest preserve. "I promise, if he ever comes back around here, he's going to be sorry he had ever decided to mess with us. Right, guys?"

"IF he comes around." Smudge said. Then she turned to Streak. "Oh, its perfectly fine. Not as bad at Rita' though."

Streek covered his nose. "You still reek though." he said.

Lance smiled. He'd actually watched. "That was funny." he said but put his paw over his nose. "But I think Smudge got a little skunked too."

"At least you didn't get the full blast of it like Rita did." said Lance, still covering his nose against the awful stench. "Most of the smell is from where it got on the ground."
