Balto tried to ignore him but, unfortunately, Steele kept taunting him about his breed, " Be quite Steele. You're such a glory hound." He said, " By the way, you know I will be stronger than you when I grow up. I'm part wolf. Wolves are much bigger, and stronger than regular dogs." He said and walked off into the woods.

Steele took offence to this "who do you think youre talking to wolf dog!?!?" Steele was still sore about how the other dogs had laughed at him for trying to race the nome sled team leader, he reared up on his hind legs and blew a heavy cuff to Balto he leaped onto his grounded opponent when he heard takas shout along with the desperate cry for balto.Steele laughed in baltos face "who wants to talk to you this badly?!"
taka heard Steele taunting his brother he also heard maura and akira talking in another direction coming his way along with tatsuo running from yet another direction "ever feel surrounded he yelled "Balto brother youre part wolf USE IT!!" before turning to face the wolves coming towards him.

Balto heard his brother and rolled over. His paws on Steele's Chest. Balto bit him hard and blood came out of his paw, " That 'oughta teach you to mess with part wolf." He snarled and ran up to his brother.

Taka heard his brother and grinned "good one balto he whispered and grinned as the two sniffed each other he heard uneven footsteps and suddenly Steeles voice sneered "well,This is heart warming"
Steele looked at balto and taka "boy do I have something to tell the dogs of nome tonight"

Balto looked at him and said squinting his eyes, " You will not breathe a word about this to the others. Got it? Or do I need to teach you another lesson?" He asked snarling. He then looked up at Taka and said, " Thanks."

"Shh!" Akira suddenly hushed Maura's blabbing. "I hear something."
Maura listened. She heard three wolves talking nearby, and another wolf calling the name 'Taka' right behind them. "Let's go!" She barked, dashing towards the voices. She burst out of the shrubs, with Akira right behind her. There was a black and silver husky standing infront of two wolves. His paw was bleeding. The other two looked similar. One had brown fur with a lighter belly, and the other looked the same, except with white ears. She flinched at the blood from the husky's paw. Looking back and forth between them, she decided that the two wolves were probably not the bad ones, so she side-stepped closer to them. "I'm Maura." She said. "But you can call me Maur."
Akira stepped up beside her. "I'm Akira." She said, half-mocking Maura. "But you can call me Kira." She glared at the husky. "Who are you? What's going on here?"

"oh Bingo, you realy need back up?" steele gave a mocking grin though he wasnt sure about his prediament "Im steele so watch youre toung wolf" he shot with contempt at akira he smiled slyly at balto "why shoudnt I tell? Im sure Jenna woudnt aprove of this balto" he said waving his paw underneath baltos nose
taka started to snarl but stopped imediatly at a roar behind them,it was a baer "wheresTatsuo when you need him?" muttered taka

Tatsuo saw Taka with another wolfdog and two wolves, he also noticed a dog who didn't seem like he wanted to be friends, knowing that could only mean troubles, Tatsuo ran and jump on Steele, pinning him to the ground he got his head closer to the dog and growled."Leave them alone, dog...If you know what's good for you you'll go back with your human."

Akira growled at Steele. A wolf pounced on him out of nowhere and tackled him to he ground. He was all white with gorgeous brown eyes. Akira thought he was beautiful. She stepped up next to him and raised her paw to swipe Steele's face, when there was a growl from behind. She turned to see a grizzly rearing up on its hind legs and she ducked in fright. Suddenly it was knocked out from under its feet, and fell backwards.
Maura pulled the bear's feet out from underneath it, making it fall backwards. She quickly jumped ontop of it, getting ready to bite its neck, when it slashed her, sending her flying into a tree. There was a sickening crack, and blood trickled from her mouth.

Steele yelped as he was knocked over by Tatsuo "you are so dead when I get back to nome bingo and I will tell them about this even if you wont" he yelled over Tatsuos shoulder before seeing Tatsuo had left his front leg unprotected he suddenly bit hard into it causing blood to stream down Tatsuos leg hestruggled back to his feet "I would haverealy iked it to be those two half breeds that were injured" he snarled unforetuneatly his paw collapsed underneath him at that moment.He suddenly felt a searing pain along his shoulder and looked up to find taka standing over him with a look of maddened rage on his face
"Never...Never...Insult my brother" taka shot at steelebefore shouting over his shoulder "Is muar ok Akir- Imean Kira?"

Tatsuo turned to Taka,he walked closer but he had to stop because of his wounded paw."Why can't you be alone for five minutes without getting into troubles...we need to get to the village now. So lets get going before we find something else..."

Taka threw a fithy look at steele before looking at Tatsuo "look Tatsuo... I wnt to stay in the wild its where I belong soim Stay-" steele had just knocked him over
"Now whos grounded" steele sneered at Taka he almost laughed at the scene "wolves are uselsss" he said.

"Don't... touch... him." Maura looked up a bit. Her green and yellow eyes turn a shade darker, that almost looked a bit reddish in the shadows. "Don't..." She weakly lifted herself up. "you. dare..." Her eyes glowed, and her teeth shown in a growl. She almost swung from side to side, steadying herself as she trotted forward, her head low and her shoulder bones jutting out of her back. "TOUCH HIM!" She glared menacingly at Steele, and grinned as he flinched. "Now, pup," she spat, "are you going to go back to your Mommy and cry?" She whispered in his ear, before appearing on his other side. "Or stay and fight?" When he hesitated, she slashed down his back. "ANSWER ME." A growl ripped out of her chest. She clawed his right eye, making blood swell in a straight line.

Steele glared at Maura his pride was now deeply wounded but he wasnt sure about fighting a battle he coudnt win he breathed heavily the pain in his back and shoulder was increasinng by the minute "you wouldnt fight a pup half your si- I mean age" he had suddenly realised that even though maura was obviously older than him he was about her size "runt" he added in a whisper so quiet ony maura could hear. he smiled mockingly at maura with a glint in his eye "I thought it was only halfbreeds who were stupid weaklings. I obviosly didnt count on you"
Taka barreled into steele if steele hadnt been scared before he was now with his teeth dangerrously close to steeles already injured shoulder Taka hissed through bared teeth "take that back" when steele just gave him a sneering look Taka snarled threatningly "Take that back or me and maura will make you"
before Taka hadtime to carry out his threat Steele dodged him and stood infront of the two ofthem,eyes glinting "You sure about that?"

"Abesolutely positive." Maura smirked. "Now TAKE IT BACK BEFORE I RIP YOUR THROAT OUT!" She lunged at him, landing on his back. Her lips pulled back in a snarl, revealing teeth that were as white as snow. They were just inches away from his throat. "I will give you one more chance." She threatened. "Then," She paused, letting the shadow of a cloud infront of the moon invelope her. "I will take your life."
